Starts off ranting like a og GTR purist, dribbles bs about all aftermarket turbo’s turn them into laggy piles of junk, then oh wait this is my first time driving a skyline..... fml 🤦♂️
@@Quatschmichnichdicht also e30 325is, e36 328is, e46 zhp. if the base platform wasn't so good then the M3 and GT-R wouldn't be either ..all have 50/50 weight distr, inline six, manual u can't call them quick (other than 335) but still very fun to drive
Damn Americans made these cars over price in the market. When these were legal in Canada in 2007 you could pick up a R32 GTR in decent condition for about 18- 28k Canadian dollars. Ridiculous. For the money I’d go with a R35 now days used
Honestly everyone would say the r34 is the better looking, not saying the 32 isn’t and everyone’s mind goes to the r34 or 35 when you mention gtr. And not modifying a gtr? Yea tell that to the Japanese 😂😂 and it’s their cars 😂
If you are of a certain age, and were not exposed to the car you think R34. I think R32 when I think GT-R. R34 is 3rd or 4th when it comes to that list. I've driven hundreds of GT-R, so not just some random fanboi.
Yes a tuned GT-R is nice - cuz you can also see how the engine is tunable. It´s ok people have projects in their car nothing against it. But still yes. An old Hakosuka with a L20 engine... yes it is more relialable and stuff. But the S20 with 4 valves per cylinder and stuff was so rare so putting a L20 into it well. There´s this 1000 hp GT-R race against a Veyron. It´s nice to see that but I want to see how these (rare) car perform against modern cars in their stock form.
Amen overall on Modifying Skylines ruins them. However I disagree with Regular Skylines being underwhelming. Skylines are about as underwhelming in the family as a Carrera is to a Turbo
While there may be other options, better would be debatable. This car comes with these Brembos factory. They work plenty well enough for 99% of the people in the world with good pads, good fluid, and a good tire. I've raced professionally with Brembo, and every manufacturer I talked to about brakes, started the conversation with "we are better than Brembo..." to me that says something. AP has some great race car product. Brembo owns AP. Alcon, and Performance Friction have solid race car product.
"A modified GT-R is a ruined GT-R" - Proceeds to praise modified GT-R as he drives it lol Go home Justin, you're drunk.
HAHAHAH BRILLIANT!!

Dude had zero credibility after this lol.
I'm lucky enough to have a set of these wheels. Absolutely gorgeous 👏🏼😍
Take the mask off and talk. And why are you driving with it on?
My one makes 750hp at the wheels, full boost at 4500rpm, redline 8500rpm. Narrow powerband??
I got my r32 at TopRank 👌
nothing wrong with a rwd GTS-T..just like the M3 v. 3 series where any form of the base was still sweet
335i that is

Idk this guy seems like a corn ball
nice car and vid but not so nice mask.
To me GT-R 32 has been always about 900hv, with 2.8 L stroker kit at 9000rpm, top mounted twins with sequential gearbox
This is like watching the verge review a car
So much bs about GTR in 1 video
I would love for a R1 spec RB26 to be reviewed.

How many people in Canada? How many people in the US? The economy in California is better than most of the rest of the world. Its just economics, son.
I bought mine back in 2016 for 12 Gs
@@jlopez0710 where you from? That’s a good deal if you got a R32 gtr
From the States. I bought it when I lived in Germany. Had imported from Japan to Germany then back home.
"Generally" speak for yourself and the rest of you that have two left hands...
Dude is clueless how expensive the suspension is
Beautiful and tastefully sorted BNR32. Sometimes less is more.

importavehicle.com exactly not everyone, that’s for helping prove my point

Interesting idea tho. But most ppl who have 1000+ can still drive them and with ac. I get the idea might not be the best car to daily but is possible.

Better brakes and shocks would be a plus
Better than Brembo and Ohlins? I'd like to hear what Pep Boys stuff you roll on.

touching a $1000 dollar steering wheel. id be happy
Great video, Justin. (Paul @GTM)
.... super fast build mode
I was loving it until I saw that shift knob.
The Nismo shift knob?
Waiting for that Mitsubishi Evo station wagon myself😜
Best looking gtr? R32? Seriously?
Yes.
I'm a Subie guy, but the R32 by far is the best looking !!
Who Cares GTR's Are OVERPRICED & Boring....
You do, otherwise why comment?
