I remember back in the days of Playstation one, Gran Turismo is where some of us got to first learn of the greatness the Calsonic R32 had to offer. Cars like this in games made me go out and research the real life counterpart and it literally set a solid direction for my taste in cars.
Fun fact - The original Group A Japanese driver K. Hoshino wasn't sure about the capability of this car before the race, after test driving it he called the car a "monster" and "unbeatable". Also, due to the car's suspension setup, one of the car's front wheel is usually in the air when cornering.

The thing that always gets me about this particular set up of the r32 is the sound. It’s absolutely terrifying. Sounds nothing like the street ones and they sound great don’t get me wrong but the group a side exits paired with the tune sound like a demon.
@@AngryProtoBoiThat sport-bike sound comes from an equal length exhaust system or a single turbo setup, or both. A stock, twin-turbo RB26 with an exhaust will sound similar to this Group A car, albeit nowhere near as loud.

If you watch the full detail video he says in comp he runs it at 1.2-3 bar which gives him 650hp and at 2bar it makes 1020hp. He won't turn it up as he's already beating the competition in his class and he'll get banned if he does.

One of the most iconic livery, ever!

@@HillClimbMonsters ☝️👍JDM Events piece of cake
Agreed. As iconic as an RS500 in Texaco livery. Although I loved the 'Labatts' blue and white
The most iconic. When I think Skyline, I think Calsonic.
