I still have a bit of a hard time figuring out what's too damaged, because with my first batch of pins I asked myself "what would I be comfortable paying full price for?" and the answer is "most of them." Like I don't mind small areas of missing plating on the sides as long as they aren't too dramatic. The only ones I classed as seconds were missing enamel or had uneven enamel.

That is the biggest issue I hear about from other pin makers, too! It's so hard to tell. I have another video, showing how I sort seconds, which might be helpful. But truly, I've only had two times since 2016 when someone reached out about flawed pin, so I'm sure your judgement is perfect. I get way more feedback that people can't find the flaws in my seconds, hahaha!
