im new to enamel pins and im about to start my business, i noticed that my pins (25/50) have issues with the resin coating. like a small hole, possibly a bubble from placing the resin. How do you grade this? you wont notice it until you shift the pin under light...

I started grading my first pins this weekend! Unfortunately, the design with the biggest batch has scuffed up metal in every pin TmŤ I think it's because the manufacturer said they messed up the color on the first go, so they remade the batch, and because it's hard enamel they must have rushed the plating. The metal just has all these little marks and scratches. It's not that bad, but I look at pins from other artists and the quality is so different...

That's so hard!! I'm sorry you're having to deal with that! Was your manufacturer open to another replacement? You could also do a slightly smaller discount or include them free with purchases as an incentive. There are lots of ways to handle seconds! And sometimes, you might just need someone else to look at it and they won't even notice the flaw haha!

Hi! I like to double up on my steps to make things go faster! I put the a-grade pins on cards after checking, so it just speeds up the processing.
