    • @LulaRocks
      @LulaRocks  4 года назад +4

      @@Mochacaremel I assumed that was the reason. It wasn't meant to be clickbait which is why I don't say anywhere in the title, description or intro that I will be sharing my manufacturers. The tutorial was solely filmed for my Patrons who pay me for content like this. Rather than making it available to my Patrons only, I decided to share my knowledge for free on here also. It wouldn't be fair for me to include all of the same information when my Patrons pay me, so I added that clip to let people know that the information is available on Patreon.

    What exactly is a seconds sale? I've seen them on etsy and I was obsessed with some of the pins I saw but they didn't look damaged at all to me. From what you said it's just a pin that the creator thought wouldn't be good enough quality and later sold for a cheaper price? I just want to make sure I'm understanding this properly ^-^

    • @LulaRocks
      @LulaRocks  3 года назад +2

      Yeah that's right! It's slightly flawed pins at a cheaper price. It means that as sellers, we don't have to waste stock and can make a little bit of money still. It's a bit pot luck though because some of the flaws are barely noticeable and some of them are a little more obvious (and you don't know how flawed yours will be until it arrives). It's a great way for customers to save money on pins though!

    My biggest fear of trying to get into this field is how saturated places like Esty have become with sticker and button shops. Bit then I remember that no matter how many shops there are, no two artists are the same. So out of the thousands let's say, only a portion of those will appeal to a particular demographic, and so on.

    • @LulaRocks
      @LulaRocks  Год назад

      That’s the perfect attitude to have! Just because a market is saturated doesn’t mean that you can’t succeed and isn’t a reason to give up before you even start!

Since filming this video, I’ve changed manufacturers multiple times and the one I would have recommended back then, I would 100% NOT recommend now. I don’t want to be responsible for someone else having a bad experience with a manufacturer I recommend. If you are looking for a manufacturer, some good places to try looking are AliBaba and Instagram. Good luck 🤞🏻

      I’d also just like to point out that it does state in the video description “Please be aware that my manufacturer information isn't something I share publicly”

      Hey, One of the biggest questions I get asked is "where can I get pins made" So, I've partnered up with a pin manufacturer, and checked the quality myself so that you can get high quality pins. Feel free to check them out! bit.ly/3SEIGAh

      I don't make them myself, I get them made by a factory.
