@@Mochacaremel I assumed that was the reason. It wasn't meant to be clickbait which is why I don't say anywhere in the title, description or intro that I will be sharing my manufacturers. What exactly is a seconds sale? I've seen them on etsy and I was obsessed with some of the pins I saw but they didn't look damaged at all to me. From what you said it's just a pin that the creator thought wouldn't be good enough quality and later sold for a cheaper price? I just want to make sure I'm understanding this properly ^-^
Yeah that's right! It's slightly flawed pins at a cheaper price. It means that as sellers, we don't have to waste stock and can make a little bit of money still. It's a bit pot luck though because some of the flaws are barely noticeable and some of them are a little more obvious (and you don't know how flawed yours will be until it arrives). It's a great way for customers to save money on pins though!
My biggest fear of trying to get into this field is how saturated places like Esty have become with sticker and button shops. Bit then I remember that no matter how many shops there are, no two artists are the same. So out of the thousands let's say, only a portion of those will appeal to a particular demographic, and so on.
That’s the perfect attitude to have! Just because a market is saturated doesn’t mean that you can’t succeed and isn’t a reason to give up before you even start!
