- Hi friends! I’m so excited to share this video with you today. First I’m taking you along with me while I shop inside the Vintiques antique store in Cleveland, Tennessee and then I’m sharing what I bought! I had several requests to visit this shop and it did not disappoint. I hope you enjoy antiquing with me today and like my antiques haul.

I've learned Room by Room. I don't think about another room, just the one I am working on. Once I am done I walk out the door, check it off, and then go to the next room. Life is overwhelming enough. We don't need overwhelm in our sanctuary. My mom use to say just finish what is at hand and move to the next thing when that task is completed. Wise woman. Decorating, cleaning, etc same principle.

You could use the cute glasses as little vases with zinnias and put them on a windowsill or little tray. They are so cute!

Hi Melissa I am not on Instagram.. I was on it at one time, lost my info and never got back on. I am so sorry your daughter had a rough surgery and praying that everything will be ok. I have to go back and revisit this video. I happened to look first at the comments and so upset for you. I have not been to Tennessee in a long time. You got nice things. The little glasses I would out flowers in them. I cut zinnias almost everyday and put somewhere . I love giving them away too. Unfortunately, they won’t last forever. I love fall,but always feel a sadness about summer ending. Virtual Hugs and prayers going your way. ❤❤❤
Oh flowers is a lovely idea for the glasses. I should plant zinnias next year. I’ve never grown them before but I love looking at them! Thank you for the prayers Rita! The end of summer is bittersweet for sure. Thanks so much for visiting with me ❤️
You could also use those little juice glasses as votives, OR pour your own candle in them maybe? I'm a sucker for a well structured basket and I really love the handles on the one you found!!!

First of all I'm jealous😕 LOL.. jk😄 Girl I miss Tennessee so bad!! I wish I was there to shop with you! Can you believe in all the years I lived there I never went antique shopping in Cleveland?! I went shopping in Cleveland at the regular stores and went to GW a couple of times, but that was before I really started collecting and I was mainly just looking at clothes. I definitely regretted it as soon as you walked in that door😩 Looks like they were packed to the rim with all the good stuff! I don't remember ever seeing this store, about where is it located? Is it anywhere near Paul Huff? I'm more familiar with that area. The dishes look like they had some pretty good prices. I love anything hand stitched & that church was really pretty!❤ To the left of the crock with the hand painted white flowers was a red & white 'Better Homes' cookbook.. I'm looking for one between the year of 1964 and the early seventies. I'm trying to collect anything I can find that my mom had when I was young and growing up, and things my Grandma had too. Loved the green thermos you know our favorite color is green. I've been looking for a sampler for the longest time! Not one antique store in McMinn County had one, they couldn't get a hold of them!😳 One of the owners said she only ever had a few come through her store, and she was even trying to help me find one. I'm pretty sure those were newer pieces, but if I found a newer one like I wanted I'd buy it & tea stain it! I've actually thought about just making my own!🤷♀️ I loved the little piece with the birds that said 'Welcome to Our Home'! And the milk glass hen on nest.. I have a medium sized milk glass one that's so old it has transparent places on it! I loved the blue and white plates that was in the cabinet that had the roses around the edge. But wow the light blue & white plate with the scallop edge & the church was beautiful & And so was the platter behind it!💙 Aww the Frenchie was precious! (Or I think it was a Frenchie Lol😄) My son has a black & white one named Milo & he's a mess! Oh my goodness all those linens & doilies!😮 The crocheted pot holder with the rose was so pretty!🌹The $8 pack with the handstitching.. would have come home with me! The brass hurricane type candle holder was pretty, i have a lamp that looks pretty much like it but maybe a little taller, that i use a candle bulb in. I just love the etched glass on mine, it has little flowers all around it! Oh my goodness.. the white bedspread with the fringes.. my mom had a white one on her bed for years & she had a light yellow one🥹 My grandma had a couple too. But that white one is so nostalgic for me, I would really love to have one myself. Girl I love the brown crocheted throw, sad it had so many holes!🤎 I used to have a blue train case like that white one. My mom gave it to me to keep all my barbie clothes in😊 Oh Goodness I'd want that whole drawer of stitched hankies! At that price I probably get them all!😄 Loved the laundry painting on the board super cute! If I ever get back to Cleveland to visit.. I'm def going there! That entire place had good prices on most things! Melissa I'm so so sorry for whatever is going on with Sarah.. but we serve a God that's still in the miracle business, a God who can & who will! I know you guys have an army rallying around her & praying non stop, I'm in that army & praying too, That God will intervene & heal her 100%! I stand on faith & believe it & claim it that it IS DONE in Jesus name 🙌🏻 The juice glasses remind me of the old vintage jelly glasses! Love the basket, really nice! Oh yay.. you got the laundry painting! I think its just the sweetest piece! I have a couple of the cast irons but the handle is iron. I want one with the wood handle. I love all your videos! I wish you were coming further south in Florida, we'd def have to get together! Orlando would only be an hour, if it weren't for that horrific I-4 traffic😩 Bless my son, he works in Orlando & drives it everyday.🫤 I enjoyed shopping with you.. and I'm here for you & praying sweet friend!
