Hi Melissa I loved your thumbnail because I love red. I love going shopping with you. I think that would be a favorite shop..so fun. Oh , I loved the quilts there all in a vertical row and all of them looking so pretty. I had to get up and look at my two pastry cutters and no thumb place. I loved the yellow. I have no old yellow utensils, except a big spoon with a yellow handles .I don’t have a bean masher…just regular potato mashers. That one is great..old and interesting. We have a wall like Cracker Barrel. When we moved here we were going to tear down the old chicken house and shed , so my husband took the wood slats off and put in a wall in the kitchen. That is where I put all our old kitchen utensils, an old wooden phone ,and even a little quilt my friend made us. We never tore down the building and although we don’t house chickens we do house two old riding mowers and tons of stuff that needs to go…like old round fruit baskets.I am glad we did not tear it down. We did tear down the old outdoor toilet and then years later thought how dumb we could have used it for a tool shed. Live and learn. I promised I would not write you a 📖 because I know this is your busy week…but my family and friends hate old stuff…so nice to have someone to talk to about old stuff we absolutely love. Have a great week with your family. I love that your girls love old stuff too.
I only have the crocks and other stuff because they were in when we moved in and then my husband’s cousin hates old things and gave us two crocks. I have never bought one. One is a little one with a duck on it. I like it. I don’t buy things because they are worth anything..just because I like it. We do have a large one on the porch and I guess where the weather gets too cold after being warm a big chunk broke off. I glued it back. I don’t resell so did not bother me too much. ❤❤❤❤

I wish I could see your kitchen! I love the wall idea. Sweet! I almost bought the cracked crock for $29.99. Imperfections don’t really bother me most of the time. I only buy what I like too and don’t care about price as much as how I feel about a piece - although I do try to be frugal minded and only buy what I can afford at the moment. Sometimes I splurge but my heart has to be really excited about something to pay more for it 😅 I enjoy chatting with you too Rita. Thanks for stopping by! ❤️❤️❤️

@@Melissa.Ringstaff Hi Melissa I know you are super busy, but look up Central City Antiques in Huntington WV. You are welcome here…❤️❤️❤️ We don’t buy expensive items hardly ever…sometimes a big splurge for a special occasion….and that would be something I love . I am sure you are super busy. Take care ❤❤

Yes I was excited to find it! I have a red one and a wooden one that the paint has chipped off in my kitchen. ❤️ It’s nice to see you again Carla. Thanks for watching!

I always love your videos because you always look at things I would look at if I were there. The crocks were a little pricey ,,at least ,they aren't that high in my area. The yellow wooden handle kitchen utensil was made in the 1950's if my research is right. The green handled ones are made in the 1930's and the red handled ones in the 1940's. I had never seen a yellow handled one before. Thanks for letting me tag along!!!!!

Oh I didn’t know that, Mary. I see the red and green ones quite often and I do have a red one. I had never seen the yellow handled one either. Very interesting! Thanks for letting me know.
We must be kindred spirits. I haven’t found any other RUclipsrs who really decorate in my style yet. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place! Do you have any recommendations? I do have a few I enjoy watching and do enjoy their style though. 🥰 Thanks so much for watching and your sweet words!

Hey girlfriend! Oh I miss the mountains so much🫤 I bet it feels wonderful there too! That cabinet the hen on nest was sitting on was pretty! I would love to collect some more hen on nest, i love the green💚 I have amber & a med size milk glass. I go mine at one of the antique stores in Sweetwater & only paid half that price, those were a little pricey but so pretty. I think that was the biggest crock I've ever seen at 5:04!😮 The little tricycle was so sweet! Lol I knew you'd find some quilts!😄 I actually had someone gift me A handmade quilt last week..i was shocked & so surprised, a i could do was smile & cry! Its beautiful, and the base color is my fav color💚 Loved those braided place mats too. Ohh the handstitched pillow cases were beautiful! I would have def grabbed the ones with the Victorian lady, and probably another set, the price on those wasn't bad! LOVE the quilt you held up!❤ Not really a bad price on it either. I really want to collect some old tins and more copper kettles & old coffee grinders and decorate the top of my kitchen cabinets with them! I think that would be pretty with some greenery added in. I loved the old bed spring with all the old utensils hanging on it, loved all the utensils too😊 Most all my utensils are red handled, i want to start collecting some of the green handled ones. The quilt you couldn't find a price on was really pretty! I love the wedding ring pattern. When my daughter was little i actually had a wedding ring patterned quilt with mauve & little florals in the rings & a creamy colored base. I really wish I'd kept it🫤 Was that enamel ware with the lid a chamber pot??! I'm looking for one like that! My old granny's was like that! Love the masher, love the wood handle! I have the red handled pastry cutter & it doesn't have the thumb rest either, the yellow handle is pretty💛 I always enjoy shopping with you, you find the best stores! Hope you have A very blessed week!😊

I was very drawn to the color of these hens. I’d never seen the dark blue one before! But they were a little pricey. So lovely though! That’s so nice about the quilt! I love that! Hope you’re doing well Tammy! ❤️❤️❤️

@@Melissa.Ringstaff They were really pretty! I've not seen the blue in person but I was watching a video, can remember who its been awhile, and they were in an antique store when the was a large collection of all3 sizes in all sorts of colors! They had the regular or large size & a little mini in the blue, i don't remember seeing the med size in the blue tho. They had the mini ones in lots of colors, even the green depression glass! I've never found a mini but they are so sweet!😊 I only pd $15 a piece for mine. The only reason the med size was same price as the large was because its really old, its milk glass but its almost transparent which she said was from the age 🤷‍♀️ I think most places they're at least $20 fit the large ones unless they're special. Anyways, sorry i just went down that rabbit hole😂 I'm doing Ok.. just tired of this hot weather, i hate it🥵 And I'm about worn out all the time with these kiddos, but that because I'm old & can't keep up🥴😄 I'm ready for November so the weather will be better for sure! Hope you're doing well!

Cute shop! No way I could have gone in there and come out with such a small haul. Especially if it’s a place I don’t get to very often.

Hahaah 🤣 the struggle is real! We have two daughters getting married back to back and my budget is pinched at the moment otherwise I would have been tempted! But I do try to stay within budget and only buy what I can afford in any given week. So many pretty things in this shop!!
