I just cannot get over all the wonderful items you picked up on your trip!!! I would absolutely love to have an old urn like the one you found!!! That old enameled pan brings back so many memories!!! My grandparents had a number of enameled pans that we always used for shelling peas and butter beans. We shelled a many a bushel of peas and butter beans sitting on the back porch using those old pans and drinking iced tea!!! I so wish I still had these pans. There was a time in my life that I just didn’t realize how much I would eventually wish I had kept certain things!!! 💝💝💝
I was surprised to find another urn like that. I told my mama that exact thing about the pan. I wonder how many peas were shelled in it. If we only knew them what we know now. I got rid of so many things too. ♥️
That is one awesome haul 👍💖 My favorite is the old dish pan!!! I have one I got last year from an antique store that has the red rim around it for $10.00. It’s old with a few small rust spots , but I can still use it, used it last night for my popcorn bowl!!! It comes in handy to mix a big batch of tater salad, slaw, etc. to transfer to another bowl!!! So glad y’all had a nice little getaway with your children and grandchildren!!! The picture of James looking at his grandson is precious, you could tell James is bursting with love and pride!!! I've said it before...you always find the best things at the best prices. My favorites are the little clock and the brass box with wood inlay on the lid. Any man that will agree to some shopping is a keeper. 😃

Great haul. I enjoyed your trip for the littles and thrifting. Your trash can may really be a trash can. Brentwood made canisters, ice buckets, trash cans in a few colors in the 60-70’s. I love your enthusiasm for all your finds!!
Thank you. I realized after seeing the ice bucket, mine is missing a handle. There’s a spot on each side for it. It’s not noticeable so it will remain my trash can…😂

Girl I've had A super busy day yesterday, full of Dr appts. I was so drained last night i feel asleep soon as i hit the bed😑 But I'm so excited for this haul!😁 Lots of pretty brass pieces! I have one like the little oval shaped pot..i have pine cones & cinnamon sticks in mine, or i did. I may change it 🤷♀️ Of course I love the oil lamp! I have a small one i need a shade for, its purple & gorgeous, but I'm having a hard time finding one that fits it, I'm sure if i do find one it'll be clear glass & that's Ok, I'll take it. Having one that fits is def better than nothing. Oh I love the little 2-tone brown pitcher! I love the foil frames & the old photos, i just love old photos! I love old Norman Rockwell pictures too, i have a couple but the aren't framed. I just haven't found the right frames for them. The chunky wood frames are what I was thinking would look good for them, idk🤷♀️ I've been in 3 different thrust store & the habitat store here, and not one bible! One store had a few Christian inspired books, but no bibles..i was disappointed🫤 I have that same green little testiment, I've had a hard time finding those, even back in TN! I've got A few but I really want to find more bibles & testiments! Oh Wow.. I've never seen a stool with brass legs either.. how cool!😮 I have a little stool with the pretty dark, larger floral print brocade fabric & it has pretty wood legs shaped kind of like that but they're shorter.. but girl i love those brass legs!❤ Girlfriend I love that old bowl so much! That's always what I think when i see pieces like that, where they came from, what kind of family had it, what kind of foods had it held or what other things it held.. so many stories I'm sure it holds! Ughh love pieces like that, beat up, rusty & crusty😊 The tiny clock is so sweet! Love the ice bucket.. that's a perfect trash can! That's another thing I love about thrifting/antiquing & finding old pieces you can use for different proposes other than what they were originally for! The tray is beautiful, & very unique looking key! Everything looks so good where you placed it too! Girl you had an amazing haul.. did not disappoint😊 I always enjoy hanging out with you anytime! Now.. Waiting for your next video to post😁
I’ve had days like that too… they can wear you out. This was a great haul. I’m proud that most is for the booth. That can be a struggle sometimes😄. It’s very hard finding ones for the small lamps. I wanted to reframe this Norman Rockwell but it has the certificate of authenticity on the back. I’m gonna leave it. I put it in the booth. If it doesn’t sell, I will change out the frame for myself. Bibles are getting harder to find too. The brass legs got me..😄. How many peas were shelled in that bowl? I had no idea it was an ice bucket..😜. Thank you for spending time with me! ☺️🧡

Thank you! Fortunately for me, I enjoy cleaning so I’m literally always cleaning something. I use my swiffer a lot but then I also remove everything and give it a good cleaning. ☺️

I got a little pitcher with the stripes on center at some thrift store in Myrtle Beach last week. Just now unpacked it. Also got a saucer (went blank on the brand..you’ve got me started watching for them and I’m blank lol) with so much Craisin that I couldn’t resist!!
I haven’t been to our goodwill in forever. May give them another try.
I do need to go to hobby lobby for the one garland so I can decorate a little fall and easy transition to Christmas. Yes I’m thinking ahead. Our daughter wants us to come to Orlando after thanksgiving for a long weekend.

Good afternoon. Found out some information about the people named in that Bible you purchased. Pickney Eugene "Jack" Pressley and Hazel Sykes Pressley were living in Fayette, AL in 1935. Not sure how long they lived in Fayette, AL. Jack was born in 1910 and Hazel was born in 1912. Jack passed away 11/25/1982 and Hazel passed away 7/4/1991. Both are buried in Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. One of their son's was a native of Fayette, AL then moved to Mobile, AL. Garland Eugene "Buddy " Pressley. He played softball in church leagues for Oakdale Baptist Church and Woodbridge Baptist Church. He passed away 8/28/2009. He is buried at the same cemetery. It looks like Jack and Hazel had 2 sons and 2 daughters. Just thought you might enjoy knowing what I found.
