    I'm platinum in my area of Mo and have found it interesting the ratio of acceptance to declines. I can work a bunch of orders and gain a few points in acceptance but if I'm turn down one order it takes away one point immediatley. Doesn't seem right

    • @zarbon700
      @zarbon700 2 месяца назад +1

      AR percentage is based on the rolling 100 method. The higher your AR, the easier it is for your AR to drop when you decline an offer, however, it become harder to increase your AR. It's all about making you afraid to decline an offer in order to maintain a high AR.

    • @bigc2626
      @bigc2626 2 месяца назад +3

      That’s because the way the system works is it’s a rolling 100 orders. Say you get an offer right now and you accept it, your oldest offer from 100 offers ago will fall off your record and say that old offer was a decline, then by accepting that new offer right now, your AR will go up a point, if you accept the new offer now and the oldest one was also an accept, then your AR is staying where it is. But if you decline a new offer now, and the oldest one was an accept, it falls off and your AR goes down a point. Now say you decline an offer now and your oldest one was a stack of 2 deliveries that you accepted, then your AR is going to drop 2 points. I think it’s an unfair system, but that’s how it works.
      Last week, I started my day with a 95% AR, did 33 deliveries that day and had 2 declines all day, ended my day with a 93% AR. So I got no credit for any of my accepts and both times I declined I lost a point.

    • @marklyon6344
      @marklyon6344 2 месяца назад +1

      Wow! That makes sense now. Tnx, BigC. And you're right it's totally unfair. But it is what it is, I guess?

    DD is still my bread winner, but I like how UE does things. I have no zone and no schedule and I accept offers where I want to go, I decline a ton too. I went from gold to platinum and Im almost diamond on UE, there really isnt an acceptence rate on UE or GH anymore. Its all about how many orders can you deliver this month or week it seems. I have no problem with that.

  • @jimcoronaii4328

    As far as subzones go, I like knowing I'm going to stay closer to my home instead of finishing an uber delivery half an hour from home. If I'm doing uber or grubhub and end up far away from home, I'll slap on dash along the way and KNOW if I get any orders I'm getting paid to drive towards home

    I am currently stuck at Silver and at 91% and my CR is dropping by 2 or 3 points each day I work.
    The more I work the more my Completion rate drops! I will probably be below 90% today and the what happens? Deactivation???
    I recorded my screen all day yesterday and got the glitch in action for an Arby’s order I had picked up. They should reward you with atleast 1 catering order a shift Id think. But again, its all math so if there are 15 catering orders that shift between your zone and 30 other gold dashers, well you cant reward them all. Atleast not all the time. Some of them gold dashers have to take it in the rearend? But thats what I was ranting in the past about top dasher thingy. The new program is just relabeling top dasher title with sprinkles of candy on it, making people want to see what its about.
      There might be other drivers dashing a ton of hours and doing over a hundred deliveries a week too, with bad AR, so there's maybe not enough wealth to reward all the different types of creatures on the gig app jungle. Its all to reward a bit of everyone to retain every valuble player that benefits profit and shares.

    My market will NOT offer you any shop and deliver offers while doing earn by time. Doordash doesn't want to pay you for the time it actually takes to shop for items apparently.

      I don't think there's any market that DD lets you do a shop & deliver order on earn by time.

    Im working twice as much and making half as much than I used to for Door Trash......UE seems to do better in the long run.....Door Trash is charging more on the customers, restaurants,and paying the drivers less and the manipulation by Door Trash is getting worse.....I have over 3500 life time deliveries on Door Trash and 1800 on UE I made more money with UE,,.,,go figure!!!!

    Its not worth it. Even if you're platinum you still get low paying offers.

    Its worth having a 70% AR as long as your not doing pay by hour.

    At what point do drivers stop driving for DoorDash? They did away with Top Dasher, they have this new system which is somehow even worse than before, they did away with my ability to schedule a shift (except the midnight hour for one area an 1.5 miles from my house). And every time I can dash, I’m only given an hour slot. Dashers need to stop bending over backwards for a multi-billion dollar company that openly abuses its workers

      Drivers quit everyday and a new driver steps in everyday!!! I love doing this gig work, but I have a feeling I may need to go back to a part time or fulltime w2. I been testing the waters and want to succeed at this , its been heaven from taking a break from a 9-7 corp job. Its hard to walk away from these grinds, because the freedom of wanting to work and the freedom to go home when you want is the addicting part. Seems gig work is like scratch off tickets. Almost at 2000 deliveries just on DD alone.

      @@danguts2844 I’m almost at 5k deliveries for DoorDash. It’s not worth it anymore though. I’m more a slave to the app then I ever was working corporate. Plus, if you’re doing this full time, you should know the whole “freedom of schedule” is a myth. My schedule is worse then it ever was working a 8 - 5
