      Why don't you do Uber Eats any more? It's like you have given up on it. Why are you so obsessed with DoorDash ?

      No your 100% Right about how the declines take a entire percent off and doing multiple orders barely gives you a percent change even though you should probably be at 82% right now. I've personally seen this and I this its either a bug which is unlikely as it would be seen as a money issue but in the normal sense it still is a disproportionate problem that makes no sense when they explain the system. So I believe alot of foul play is happening theirs just no way. Also uber eats allows orders to happen dozen of miles away from you even though it shouldnt and should be local and if not pay extremely well for the travel and tip expectation should be shown not hidden. People don't know if the uber order is even worth it because of the no tip potential is high from those orders.
      Local orders should be the practice and it's not happening as much as it should be and btw all of this effects you negatively because they gave you slop orders. That's not fair in the slightest as their is no repercussion and no change if the system stays fundamentally the same. I just wish these apps are profiting in a balanced manner so we all improve, but I feel like patience is the least thing that they have. And no getting a higher benefit reward being personal assistance is not a real benefit.

      Bad company currently for real. But their is potential and until we are truly independent and can do whatever without repercussion other than ratings wise than we should not call this independence when the idea can be stripped and changed this much without your words meaning a thing. Its kind of like they got us by the nads in a different way and for way less. Its like gambling but with your time. energy, and car.

    Driving between worksites is NOT commuting. Driving from home to a worksite, or from a worksite to home is commuting, but driving between worksites is not commuting. Your miles to drive from a delivery location to your next pick-up are business miles whether or not you've already got an actual assignment. The only exception to that would be if you took the opportunity to perform a personal errand. If that's the case, whether it was really personal business, or just stopping to use the restroom, or grabbing a soda. If you were a company's W-2 hourly employee, they would have to pay your time moving between these work assignments as paid time. Use that standard to decide if it's a business or personal trip when you're an independent contractor.

    I made Platinum Sunday and built a buffer up to 79% AR so I can decline bad orders without stress. I have 98% CR and 165 deliveries in the last 18 days, took a month off before that. Made just over $1500 in that time. I had been on the Large Order Program for 3 years and wasn't going to give up on that, plus dash anytime/anywhere opens up a lot of opportunity. The orders I turned down mostly were long range, but took some lower paying short distant orders just to get that AR up.

      I used to keep track on each acceptance with a number one - Y or N for yes or no and I noticed when I got back around to a 101 if I had rejected that 1 and accepted the 101st one, it should go up and rating, but it could be 10 or 12 more orders before I would go up. So yeah, they're controlling it and it's not accurate.I would guess it's just random when they give you an increase😮

    • @ericwashington1881
      @ericwashington1881 17 дней назад

      @@danguts2844Yes, I really think the on time is made up because I have noticed the same as you. Really, I think acceptance rates are also inaccurate, as my rolling total should be around 90% as I was tracking it yet it has reached a high of 82% and stays between there and 77%. My accepts to replace a decline never add up so I just keep accepting enough to remain above the 70% because I won’t get orders in my market below that number.

    Wait, how are you doing your mileage? Are you only counting active delivery mileage? Haha Mileage counts from the moment you log in and are able to start receiving orders until the moment you logout and are no longer able to receive orders. I've got nearly 4 years and over 10.5K deliveries.
    Also, orders are assigned based on how close you are to specific hotspots/restaurants. Being outside of the zone and farther away from the restaurant lowers your priority compared to someone in the right spot and closer. And yes, while you still can be given orders outside of your zone, again, your priority is lowered for those orders.

    People seem to really get confused with the way that acceptance rate works… It is a rolling 100 orders. When you getting your car for your next shift start writing down in order every order that you take from one to 100 and then your second set of 100 orders do the same thing but write it right next to the first line… That will help you see how acceptance rate works.

    for anyone who isn't aware: the certain amount of money per hour isn't a thing in every city. where i doordash they only give you a base pay of anywhere between $2-$4, and then you get whatever tips you're given. so doordashes will usually be between $3-$10/order. if you're in an area where doordash lets you get a certain amount of money per hour + tips, you will always get more money that way. i'v doordashed in a few cities that does the per hour rate and they're really nice.

    I got trapped in a low income retirement home, and I got buzzed in but then I got trapped and couldn't get out. Couldn't find staff to let me out for like 30 minutes. I never go back to nursing homes after that. also, the customer was in a wheelchair and wanted me to walk back to his table with him, but he was going 0.0001 mph, literally three to five seconds per step. ALL THE WAY to the end of the dining hall in the end of the delivery.

    My on time deliveries never goes up. Oh, Im sorry! It does go up but only if i randomly drop down to 88 then it will rise to 89 but never more than 89.
    The new platinum dasher screwed me over. I did a while month of deliveries. I go back thru after shifts or right before the 30th to tally my deliveries so i KNOW I made top dasher. I do it intentionally so I can alternate my orher job and dd without a schedule. They did the platinum preview and then took away the Dash Now option and told me to earn it again. So now im on no schedules in my area and cant get on until i raise my acceptance score.
    Im not gonna sit and stalk the app to see if i get let in for the days. Im going to find something else.

    • @nocturnus6
      @nocturnus6 17 дней назад +1

      The long distance orders are the problem with EBT. The app wanted to send me 16 miles to an area with no restaurants. I had to end my dash at that point, that's just too far. I had declined an 11 mile order a few orders before that one, so I ran out of declines.

      Dasher Rewards has a lot that ropes you in, maintaining 100 deliveries in 30 days if you want Platinum, 50/70% minimum AR or Silver/Gold, 1 decline per hour on EBT (not technically Dasher Rewards). Dashing is tricky now, really have to squeeze out the margins

  • @thunderstormvideos6460
    @thunderstormvideos6460 17 дней назад

    The rolling 100 will not be hard once you reach it. If you just do 6 deliveries a day for 20 days (take the weekends off if you want) and you will have 120 deliveries. Even if you take a couple days off, you have a cushion now. The more deliveries per day, the bigger the cushion. It won't be hard to maintain 100 in 30 days.

    • @YourDriverMike
      @YourDriverMike  16 дней назад

      Yes but the whole premise is you can't stop driving. Big difference from old Top Dasher when you just needed to hit the metrics at the end of the month. Really forces you on the road and almost impossible for part time dashers that just don't have that kind of free time. Silver/Gold should be okay for them though
