I'm from Indonesia and I've been accompanying my mom to do her medical checkup twice in 4 years now and it has been such an amazing and smooth process for us. Altho all the expenses are covered by our insurance, the price is still reasonably well! Not to mention every visit to Malaysia will grant us time to explore amazing new delicacies in the country!

Private healthcare in Malaysia is normally accessed through medical insurance which is either covered by your employer or on your own.

I get appointments every 4 months in a government clinic specialise in hypertension. I get free blood check for chronic diseases every 4 months and get free medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol.
Malaysia provides best hospitality in medical experience.

5:12 Sorry correction : Not sure about Southeast Asia but in Malaysia the first hospital to have Gamma Knife for brain tumour treatment is Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur. UKMSC (UKM Specialist Centre) at Cheras KL also has a Gamma Knife Centre.
Maybe first private hospital.

The reality is a private hospital like this is something few Malaysians can afford.
And that’s why we must be grateful for having the option of a good, public healthcare system, unlike in the US, for example. And since Malaysia is well known for its medical tourism, quality private hospitals like this are to be expected.
I disagree. Public hospital do have all the facilities just like private, it just that you're waiting time is much longer, and less privacy. And some hospital do have experts in certain fields whether it is private or public. The only time you cant afford medical bills in Malaysia is if your medicals condition requires expert from private hospitals, that's all.
the rich can afford it, it's cheap for foreigners, and poor us can always go to affordable private hospitals haha, even then the same tests in cheaper hospital is probably half that price. Even in Sabah there's super nice hospital too, went to their bathroom and omg it's better than most hotels

Ya, i have friends that went to sunway college. To be really dead straight honest, they came out to be spoiled.. Fired by couple of jobs due to being unable to cope with critism .. Now working as a customer service. Well, he did took tourism. Sunway uni just for rich kids. Thats why employers often employ from taruc students. We grind and grit through the storm... Because we been through that hustle.

Take a visit to the General Hospital of Kuala Lumpur.
GH has long waiting and appointment time and but they give you the best medication for free.
GH for non Malaysian same price as private. Better go private hospital.
Why waste time for long queue in GH when you are covered with insurance and going to private hospitals is better alternative?

@@leealex24 Idk it's still kinda expensive even for private tbh, maybe because of all the ECG and extra X-ray tests that spiked the price so much. Medical checkup in MSU Medical Centre including blood test is around RM260 as far as I can remember
