Hi, people of the memes' universe!
I come to share with you today this new video that I am sure you guys over here will specially appreciate.
I have been the subjects of many mêmes through time in the Handpan Commnity. This time, I volunteered myself to embody some memes' characters and share some funny vibes with the community.

the business man : the player that sells CDs, has a lot of videos, gives lessons... but plays very little

😮 I didn't think there were so many ways to play this instrument! But of course I realize there are many ways to play all instruments if you allow yourself to be creative enough.

Suddenly, this video made the handpan sooo accessible and down to earth. I'm on the thought that you have to be doing yoga or extremely spiritual for the sound to come out.

Missing: up and down the scale type; slap drum cool rhythm type; Glory hole bottom type; zen-out /slow-vibe type; Hi-electronic/pop style type; special effect heavy type (e.g. Using the high octave and ding notes to get the wong-wong sound etc.) notes ha ha! and I'm sure there is more!

Yeah they were one of the earliest of the handpan players I heard, so definitely familar with that from them at least. I couldn't remember their name til you said it, but I definitely placed that specific minimalist style groove right away. I'm glad to be discovering more types and variety as I found that monotonous fairly quick. I need variety in my music, what can I say : )

You are a myth, a master par excellence. Watching you and the monstrous way you play is an immense privilege. Your lessons, your advice will never be enough to be able to reach your immense skill. You are in symbiosis with the handpan and even if it is not your intention, due to the humility you possess, looking at your work makes you feel small. Then I thought about those words again and saw and listened to Fall by Zoltan Lakner and watched Ezhan play and understood what the handpan can also be. It's my bow to one of the biggest around.

I took a workshop with Kabe. He taught us many of the exercises he does which reflect in his playing style. What I got out of it wasn't that to be good I had to learn his exercises, but that to create one's own exercises will bring through your unique playing style -the most beautifully and potently. This is what Kabe has done very much so with his own style.
@@emilejanse2672 I didn't know, and also thought he can use those styles to have teaching videos about each one. Pro/cons maybe, music rythem, scales and such...

I've been power-watching all those types, taking them all very deeply and seriously and wishing I had an eensy weensy bit of that dexterity and groove.... and your crew is very tolerant of your fun-poking mayhem. 1:33 oh god that's like the coolest thing I've ever heard... I know you kind of meant it as a joke but it's still incredible. I've always loved to try new instruments, and my favorites have been piano and ukulele for about 2 years now. When I first saw this video, (by now I've rewatched it like 5 times) I saw that clip and my mouth was hanging open for the whole thing, I was amazed, literally stunned. I really do mean that. Right away, I thought, "Time to learn another instrument!". I went to amazon, and was immediately disappointed by the price. You mark my words though, I'll buy a handpan one day, and I'll practice until I can play like that. Excellent work brother 😎
