That gadwall on the right at 20:28 is an absolute stud or a brewers duck, hard to tell.
This is a great video Bobby. One of my favorites!!!
Man because of you Bob I've been really liking waterfowl hunting and seeing how fun it is. I've been learning alot about shotguns as I recently got one. I really enjoy your videos. Your awesome. Subscriber from Canada, Manitoba 🇨🇦
Isn't it awesome! Ontario here!!
Gerald Bless you and your Family. Kudos to a Great Father. He Will Always Be By Your Side!!
Great vid bob really excited to get my dux shirt of the month this months shirt looks awesome!
Banger hunt boys! Congrats and God Bless all!!!!👍🏻🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The hunts with only a few buddies are my favorite!!
That footage was so cool and when that snow landed in it that was awesome! Good lookin wigeon also!
Great Video Bob, lol those Greater's get lost every once in a while . Got one the same day I shot my first Speck, hunting early in the season a few miles off the Upper Souris way way back in 80.. We were hunting a field that if we crossed the tree row to the north we would have been in Canada .. Keep up the good work !
Keep it up Bobby love the content 👍🏻
Luv those Tomahawk Blues! There work'n pretty dang snazzy for this late.
Hey bob you should try a Remington. I know they arnt a lot of money but that’s mostly what I’ve had and I’ve never really bad many problems with them in regards to malfunctions. I’d recommend a Remington 11-87 or a Remington V3. Awesome guns under a thousand dollars.
A small can of spray Rem oil in your pack or bucket might come in handy for those times the gun is malfunctioning.
Lol a round saver! I need one... Reaching in the pocket sucks!
Imo best video you have ever made
Hey man love your vids keep up the good work
Good hunt till u switched to the SBE.....then the spraying began!!!!
Bob deserves the best
I started having very similar problems with my Franchi at the end of this season. It had been super solid until now, even with several thousand rounds through it on the skeet range. Even after a good cleaning it likes to lock back with heavy loads, and after won’t pick up the next shell while I’m shooting light target loads at the skeet range.
Did you change out spring?
Love the longer videos!
Great video, keep it up cause I don't get to hunt snows unless we see them when we're duck hunting
Man this was amazing
Love the videos man I miss the season already
Just got your goose call in the mail, gotta say it sounds pretty damn good. Good work on putting together a great call, and not breaking the bank.
Awesome video Bob!
Been waiting for this one after the story post! Edit: Steven seagull! I say the same thing 😂😂😂 good shit
Bob run a dry lube on all trigger components and I personally like ams brand “mp” metal protector on everything else. Not the heavy duty one just straight mp you will not be disappointed.
Hi you three in the A frame, what a spectacular hunt and some lovely flights of ducks caught on camera! We wish we'd been there! The dog today, made some brilliant long retrieves. It's worth it's weight in gold! Your gun looks as if it needs a thorough clean and check out, jamming like that just isn't good. We always carry a spare gun, Bobby. What more can be said about a hunt like that? Brilliant!! Take care and stay safe Malc and Ann (England) UK xx
Love the vids!!!
I just got a dux hoodie for my 16 year old birthday absolutely love it
Awesome hoodies!
Bobby that was awesome 👌I'd mount that big one that's a long neck for snow
I was in Dexter, MO last week. The number of ducks was insane. We had a good snow hunt. Wish I could go everyday but I live in AL.
The best as always
Loved the long video man I like hearing the blind talk some funny shit happens when your waiting for birds hahaha!
It’s a good thing Federal is comping your ammo otherwise your wife and children would be living in a tent in a cornfield!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Feds don't have a clue about duck and goose hunting if they did they would outlaw the tubes. most of the snows they shoot at are out of range and then this guy is wounding about 20 to 1 killed
Just bought a Franchi 3.5 today can’t wait to put some work in with it on some ducks, geese, turkeys and deer
Heck yeah, Bobby!👍👍👍
Love it he vids bob
That looks like so much fun.
So glad I turned on notifications!
Fred is working like a champ. He is a special dog.
I like your videos so much 👍
Man I love your videos!! I gotta get back out there and shoot some snows!
Love your content
It’s awesome 🤘🏻
I love Fred. He's a great dog. I no a person that has a dog trained professional. But the guy never hunts him with live birds out hunting. My brother dog breaks to. His a meat dog to. He does his job well like Fred. That's all we ask.
Nice hunt fellas!
Great hunt for Fred!
I learned i need to pack more shells haha! Good hunt boys!
The worst mistake haha! You’ll never do it again!
Man that looks like a fun hunt!
Love bobby
Omg how fun. We don't get alot great snow goose hunts. I would love to come there
I enjoy the hunting, but love watching the dogs work. Would be awesome to see a video or two focusing on the dogs working.
Bob. If you study the shotcam film when you set the 24 hour spread you can see on one slow motion clip that 2 bright, almost like tracer, objects flew out of your gun. You need to check the internals for a breakage. I wouldn't fire it till you do bro
Early and would love to come and hunt with you sometime bob glad Y’all are doing good.
Me too 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️
me too
I love the vids y'all! What is that thing on Preston's gun that holds the shell called? I could sure use that! Great conservation work too guys! 😉
Polish right inside your barrel first 3" could be why your jamming gets messed up and causes jamming some times do it with a drill
Hi
Heck of a hunt!!
Where’d he find fiocchi steel at? Love that ammo and can’t find it!
Ohh yeah Im subscribing
think the ole franchi needs some oil lol
love the vids keep up the great content
Can't see how far u r shooting with the lens, but by the looks of it some birds are out of range. They seem committed, let them come in and call the shots!!! Great to see all those ducks. Nice filming!
Dude they got greater snow rosses and lesser snows that’s awsome
Awesome !!!
Whose dog is that? What a fire breather!! I love it.
Insane hunt.
On my versa max my bolt handle flew off because I got oil on it and it was just too slick. Don't get oil on your pins. Same thing happened with it not charging the next round. You need to get a recoil spring that's more rigid. Benelli had one that fit my gun, it's a +25% power spring so it slams the action closed weather your shooting 2 3/4 or 3 1/2
13:15 did anyone else notice that pair of snows at the top of the screen that bob did not see lol
T totally awesome!!
During the off season can you do a video of all your Sitka gear like what you wear from the beginning of the season two the in end of season love two know
That movie, the Seige, was filmed on the battleship Alabama in Mobile!
Yes Bobby uploaded yessssss!!!!!!!
So cool!!!!! 11:26
Says, “Hope these decoy a little better” and then flames on the first pass. Calm down and work them a little and you can double your pile and maybe save some of that ammo!
He don’t care just what he likes to do unload on birds
But nothing wrong with that
Ducccman,
They always look a little high to me but I guess you had to be there.
Iffin’ I went with Bobby he wouldn’t see bird one!!!
Maybe you should try investing in a well there to flood it like that whenever you want.
I use a mossberg 935 and I have cleaned it 5 times ever I’ve put about 7,000 shells threw it and not one hang up they are at most $600 I strongly recommend them
Looks like you’ve got the malfunction response down. Tap Pew!
That bolt was moving slow 😂
Nice video
That was a crazy lot of birds
I also own a super black eagle. She may be old but it’s never jammed.
You should go t. Southeast ks
Always a good idea to have an extra gun if you’re gonna run SBE’s
Bob should do a tundra swan hunt in one of the 4 states that allow it next year.
I have an original black eagle. Only issue I've had. Comes out of battery. Other then that. I would cell for 3,000$. Never fails me. Except battery.
Was about to buy that exact franchi and decided to wait a day. Now I’m questioning if I should buy or not after this video
Spend the extra on a Benelli, it’s a good chunk more but you’ll have it for the next 20+ years! You’ll be happy you did!
What shotgun camera do u use if u Don't mind me asking?
What’s the bottom layer hooded jacket you always wear while hunting?
Educate that boy. Steven S is awe
What shotgun you shooting on this video?
I really enjoy your clips. Good hunting body.🖐🖐👍👍
Dammit!Did you see the black neck ring on that gadwall on the right!
ONE HELL OF A DOG!!!
Bobby I would love to see a fowl Friday vid of ur shot size and shotkam footage like u did before. I just purchased a Carlson long range and I’m wondering what shot size u use for big honkers at a far range
BB
I have the advantage of being old enough to have been able to use lead shot before steel became the law. Long range goose loads were lead BBs. The equivalent of that is the TT in steel. T is just under that. A lead 2 is about a BBB in energy. Steel BB is about 4 lead shot. Remember, steel being lighter than lead, slows down much faster. Much faster than you think. If you shoot steel and want to shoot long range you need pellet energy. A 12ga will pattern BBB very well, because of how the load stacks when you shoot, but with steel too tight of a choke will blow the pattern the same as to little choke. It's more critical with steel. Large steel shot usually is best with a modified. Long range is a blend of shot and choke. I call long range to be 50yds plus. You have to pattern your load to see if it's any good. Try at 40 then at 50, see how many are in a 30 inch circle. With big shot try to get about 50 or more. Long range with small shot will not work because the shot has so little energy to penetrate. Good luck, experiment, pattern, go big.
@@dougmccoy1260 wow! Thank you so much!! Good luck hunting and stay safe!!
@@coreyv.669 another good thing to do is learn to judge distance. A long stride is a yard or close, check your stride. When out walking, look at a pole or something, guess how many yards. Then pace it off. After a while you can judge distance to within a yard or two. This helps in shotgunning, knowing what true range is. A pattern doesn't go out in an even cone. It is tight and then flares out like a trombone, it flares at different ranges depending on choke. You only learn this stuff listening to old guys or doing a lot of patterning on your own.
Hey Bobby Browning A5 runs 2 3/4 - 3/2 they are good shotguns never fails get a Browning A5
Badass hunt
I’ve hunted an sbe for 20 seasons never fails!
You gotta hunt that in duck season
Bolt lug on your gun has made a snag point you can fix it with a dremel.
@20:27 hen pentail with a white band around its neck on the far right?!
Hey man I have been watching you for awhile I have ducked for a very long time and enjoy watching your hunts. I have been looking at your shotgun when you have been shooting to see how it is cycling. It is almost acting as if something is out of alignment on the action rods and recoil spring. If it's still under warranty I would be contacting Franchi and having them fix it. Good luck with that gun and if you don't want it you can send it to me.
