This reminds me of when RUclips was actually good instead of big super stars just instantly getting there fam with garbage content, when people actually cared about the content and not as much as they made so thanks.
Just because the spotlight is somewhere else doesn't mean that there are any less channels like this.
Exactly!
The most interesting man in the world
The Church of Lucio Yeees
Maybe I can learn to play lucio better :D
The Church of Lucio not interesting, he just goes for whay he wants to learn, that makes him an example of how to fight for your dreams
300 like
Mr. Yessssss
You don't over do your celebrations at all, it's really great to see someone so positive about things and being so genuinely happy. Keep it up!
Step 5: when you make it, scream YASSS
That actually makes sense, because self-affirmation and shit.

Hey Mike, I was inspired by your juggling video so tried it out. Within a few hours over the course of a week I was able to juggle for a few minutes. Now I can do some cool juggling tricks. Thanks for the inspiration.

3:40 thought the ball was going to come down and crush the cat.
1. Set a clear concise milestone (1:33)
2. Keep it short (2 × 40 min / day) (2:01)
3. Split in smaller chunks (2:17)
4. Hydrate (2:50)
5. Celebrate success (3:05)
I just found your RUclips channel today and I really like your work. It is real hard and concentrated and you learn things by doing them repetively. I also really like your mentality. You don't show off, although you reach your goals. It is a great Motivation for me seeing you making that many progresses.
Two months ago, I suddenly found my own motivation during exam time and started to do various kinds of training, like pull-ups and push-ups, swimming in the lake, learning Chinese and getting back to badminton and chess. I used to be a real good player, I even took part at the world championship but I lost a bit of interest. Now I want to come back stronger and I will train hard for it.
To sum up my goals: improving my foreign language skills (English, Chinese and French (I am German with Chinese parents))
Get a rating of 2300 in chess at the end of the next holidays, starting to play the piano, doing a muscle up and a bridge and learning cooking.
Although no-one will read it because I am pretty late with this comment, it just fell foot to write down all my goals.
I wish you all the best in the future. Keep up your motivation!
yeah this guy is the real evidence that we can learn almost any skills if we dedicate enough. Hope that you will achieve your goal, I've also just set a plan to learn some interesting skills this year, let's do it together ! 🙂
please learn to whistle using your fingers
Took me about 15minutes to learn, not so hard lmfao :D
Plz learn how to whistle loud using your lips and not your fingers!
I think he mentioned he would do it for TWIL. Or at least I hope he did.
Do human flag!
Fucking GREAT idea! ;D
Yeah it sure is.. But so is muscle up and he did it. Trying to master that shit for months thanks to this channel and its not easy. I know cant compare those two movements but if u got enough patience it is possible even if it takes years.
Artturi:D human flag is not a super hard move too. He should be able to learn it in like 6 months
Artturi:D Se ois hyvä idea :D
Kerho Ukkonen juu mutta se on yli puolen vuoden juttu. (Kiva nähä suomalaisia täälläki)
I never thought this could be something that could be shared like you do but I have the same approach. Be it learning a complex guitar piece, running a marathon, trying to spin a pen around my fingers. I find the best quality is perseverance. Focusing on something, I mean really paying attention to the slightest of details requires perseverance. A lot of the time you swear, I'm the same, but that's just a way to evacuate all the nervosity to be able to refocus like you're doing it for the first time. What you're doing is great, you're making people realize that for the most part the barriers are the ones they set themselves, and that where there's a will there's a way. Keep up with the great job. You're inspiring me to learn new skills too.
dude, you have so many skills now. amazing :D you should learn how to pole dance. bahah
Cheap Lazy Vegan stupid fucking vegan
@@scintilical9442 but is he fucking?

Stupid ass vegan take your b11 you're talking nonsense again
Geez so many people butt hurt by veganism lol are y’all dairy farmers or some shit 🤣
@Cheap Lazy Vegan I think you’re awesome
I think I figured out why this is one of my favorite RUclips channels at the moment.
Training montages are the best part of every movie. This Mike posts training montage after training montage. So good! And it's real life as well!
WOW! One of your best works Mike ❤️👏🔥
Props for staying hydrated! As a ten year infantry vet I can't understate the importance of staying hydrated is to your overall feeling of wellbeing, even without exerting yourself. Stay hydrated people!
Mike, I think you are one of the most genuine guys on RUclips. Keep spreading happyness!
The biggest thing for me was realising that I should force myself to celebrate, really output your feelings of joy. It feels almost fake when you force it but it truly works!
Your celebrations are hands down my favourite thing about the videos :) It makes me so happy to see you that excited about what you've accomplished.
Thanks for not saying the annoying word patience in the video, your videos are great!
I just want to say that you've inspired me to go out and do more in my life, whether it's something big or small, and cherish those moments of success and failure. Thank you for inspiring me to learn more and making life a more meaningful and enjoyable journey.
I just found your channel today.
I'd like to say thank you for what you're doing.
Not only are you bettering yourself, but you're showing others just how easy it is if they give something a try.
With that said, however, I still think you are a quick learner.
By far one of the best channels on RUclips nowadays
1. Clear Objective!
2. Keep It Short
3. Break Down
4. Celebrate & Embrace Your Successes!
This is frankly the most inspiring video on how to learn a new skill. All the others talk about steps to take but show no real evidence. Keep up the good work!
Ever since about middle school I have noticed that I have an ability to learn skills quickly. Also I do have a very difficult time with classroom learning. I learn things similar to how you do it. You are the first youtuber I have seen who makes me feel normal about the way I can pick up odd skills and tricks. Thank you Mike. Keep it up.
Your attitude is amazing, and just makes me as a person want to revisit previous things I have tried to learn and accomplish.
Hey Mike,
This was one of my goals for the summer.
To be able to write with my non-dominant hand (right).
It was quite a challenge, but I was able to do it pretty well.
Now, I challenge you to do the same.
In a "learn quick" episode, learn to write with your non-dominant hand.
It is quite a challenge to comprehend how to form the letters and how to move your hand and what-not, but it was a lot of fun.
I challenge you!!!
From,
A loyal subscriber.
Great to see your channel grow!
I just found this channel and its quickly becoming my favorite. In one word. Try.
Hey Mike, I've watched your videos for so long, I'm 16 and I've watched since like 9, and you have inspired me to take on the 5 muscle up challenge, wish me luck! 💪 ❤
My favorite video so far! I'll be using these steps for my kendama progression!
The first Video I discovered from you was the Rubiks Cube video. After I watched it, I dug out my Cube which I bought like a year ago and actually learned how to solve it. In 5 days I was able to solve the Cube without the instructions and 2 days after that I was able to solve it in under 2 minutes. Now I really got into it and started getting faster and even buying a Speed Cube. You really inspired me to learn it. Thank you, Mike.
Your channel is so inspiring, now I know how to juggle, solve a Rubik's cube, throw cards, and spin a basketball! Thanks!
Only at 200k for what I would consider one of the best RUclips channels of all time. This channel combines unique and creative content with fantastic editing and tangible progression. Idk why 200k isn't 2 mil
I have a small tip, one thing that can help you learn some new skills faster is to be more ambidextrous, do everyday tasks more often with your opposite hand.
Great videos Mike you're a real inspiration.
This gives me more motivation than any motivational videos
No idea how I ended up here, but this hit close to home!
Awesome videos and a good message to people! Especially the celebrating even the small steps! After a while that will become addictive and feed the learning! A good feedback loop!
Hi Mike I really like this video,I learnt swimming in three days by myself last month and I can feel the same excitement.I decide to learn more those I want for a long time
You're the best! You're giving me hope! Thank you!
"Without a goal, you can't score"
Love that quote
This channel is so inspirational. I finished my first challenge and uploaded the video of it.
Thanks for the motivation!
Dude I love your channel so much!! It's super inspiring to see that literally anything is possible in the world and you can go out and learn anything you set your mind to!

You see almost anyone can learn anything but here comes my problem I can learn anything but then after a while I atend to forget it and then re-learn it again
It doesn't take nearly as long to re-learn something though.

What a great and inspirational channel! Glad I found it.
Most inspirational RUclips channel ever!!!
Hey! I just discovered your channel and you've inspired me to try new things!
Hey, so I just learned how to ride FREELINE SKATES, and let me tell you, it was amazing to be able to do something that feels impossible at first. The learning curve is steep, but it is so totally worth it. If you want a new skill, this is a great option!!!
Now master all of it.
Learning and mastering are two different things.
Great video Mike! It's fun to see such positive content on RUclips! Keep up the great work.
I dont know if u remember but u came to my school and showed a few of youre videos im still watching u now and ur videos are always improving
Your channel is so inspiring, love all of your vids - Keep it up!!!
How to be a rich person quick next? KAPPA
Break it down in small parts!
Learn to mug people || Learn quick
I think he’s already doing that one bit over a longer course of time xD. I guess “quick” is a relative term.
Man this is my second video, I think I'm going to get addicted to this channel...
Learn to type at 100 wpm
That one's hard. I've been working on improving my typing speed for a while, and I'm at about 90 - 100 wpm, but I found it hard to find resources on specific technique when it comes to typing quickly. Most stuff is just the basics like "don't look at your hands / the keyboard" but I want to know things like "should I move my hands around to minimize the stretching my fingers have to do" and "should I try to minimize the force I use and work on sensitivity to a mechanical keyboard or should I be used to using a certain amount of force so I can still type accurately on a normal keyboard?" or "how should I structure slow practice to actually improve fast typing?" All things that make improvement slower. But if I take the time to think about each of these I can figure out practice techniques and experiments to figure out the answers.
After practically living on the internet for years and learning proper typing technique, this just came naturally to me. I didn't have to directly practice it. The fastest I've gotten to is 130 wpm I think, and I know there's people who are still way faster
@@Ausar0 then you typed that comment in like 25 seconds?
@@Prymistic something like that, yeah.
Most of the time I'm somewhere around 80-100 WPM, but when I really push myself and get something that's a little easier to type, I can go 120 or 130 WPM every now and then.
There are some people who can go as high as 200 WPM and that's just insane to me.
@@Ausar0 nitro type god lmao
This is such an important video, thank you so much. I'm going to UNIVERSITY (OMG IM SO EXCITED) in 2 weeks and this will help me endless amounts.
+TeaDrinkingGuy good luck with uni. Enjoy yourself! Don't drink too much ;)
I was expecting the ball to fall back on the cat at 3:39 hahah
What I got:
100% effort -20/40min sessions. Keep it smart
Keep at it everyday
Drink water
Have a precise goal in mind that can be, in detail, visualised
Most importantly: Celebrate every small win moment
With this I will get that A in maths. Though the mental fatigue will get me down the most, I will do it!
you are such an inspiration
I knew it would take hard work but I want to make the most of it.
Thank you.
These are some great tips for acquiring skills, some of them are even applied in neurorehabilitation.
Such an inspirational channel! Never thought about the dehydration before :D
Thank you so much for the information! It helped me to get something accomplished I was having trouble doing!
love your vids! because of you im going to try and learn to play guitar
You need focus and drive
Be motivated by sense of accomplishment
1. Set a clear concise objective with a milestone
- tell it to someone
2. Keep leaening sessions to 20 to 40 minutes a time
3. Break it down into different components, put it all together after separate
4. Stay hydrated, sleep, eat well, look after body.
5. Celebrate successes
Congrats on 200k!
Hey Mike! I love what you're doing. Growing up I was interested in learning a lot of little skills and I'm still interested in learning many new things. I think learning is a huge part of life and I'm glad to see you embracing and spreading the message so well! You've inspired me to keep learning and now I know how!
Our so inspirational!❤️
Hi Mike! Great channel, great work! Have you ever considered learning some breakdance moves? Maybe a headspin, windmill or a flare?
You're such an inspiring person. I wish I could meet you irl and hug you
You gave me some good tips about my new year of school (starting tomorrow)
You should do something like a learn list. Where you read comments and pick which ones you would do or not.
