You're amazing bro..with or without you doing all those skills...you were the one who taught me not to give up
This is exactly it.
It doesn’t matter what you remember or not, because you’re out here teaching people that never getting up will get you anywhere you need to go.
Keep up what you’re doing.
@@DennisHeenan yeah man.. totally right
I totally agree with you bro ❣️
Speaking facts 💯
Yes that is true it is amazing you accomplished all of them but we all appreciate you work and i love your videos
Also kick flip is much harder if you do it without motion ! 😅👌🏻

Nah it is so much harder to do it with motion
this is why I love skating the whole build up to landing a trick. Wanting nothing more than to land it. lots of anger, frustration, and learning during the days, weeks, months of practice. Then when you finally land it there is no other feeling like it, it feels so good its indescribable. l love the vids man keep up the good work.
I love the concept of learning so many different skills, but it also reminds me of why mastery is so much more admired, versus the short term acquisition of a skill without a deep understanding of the rest of the field of that skill.
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
Lmao I'm not sure if you realize how impressive it is to learn how to kickflip in just a few days. It usually takes people at least a few months.
yep
I love your videos!!!
This guy has talent

I just discovered your channel through recommendations and Im completely hooked.
Only now it hits me that lerning different hobbys is also an hobby. I believe i always struggled to find something i wanna stick with, i just want to try everything, and I felt really bad about not committing to a single thing with all of my energy and instead "waste" it on so many small interests.
Its so amazing to see somebody who made the problem I personally struggle with and made them his live-goal.
Its inspiring, really.
Also its so funny to me that the things you learnd are often the things I also tried haha.
I currently am skating since 3 years, i learned juggling (really badly tho), i also tryed the butterfly knive and the pen spinning tricks. +breackdancing, handstand, piano (5 years lessions now), longboard dancing (its actually really fun, you could try it sometime), drawing and painting, rubix cube, grafitti, kendama, soccer, weird handy-throwing tricks (i dont even know if it has a name lmao haha), playing the flute, running in a competition, writing a book...
I am currently struggling with my education and what i want my career to be because of the same problem: I cant decide haha
Anyway thank you so much for being an inspiration, maybe you found something in my list you could try if you're still seeking for new things. :)
Waoh how old are you
@@motivationstash963 whats your guess? :)
@@thomsasus hmm i am very bad at guessing 😐 and my guess is maybe 16 or 17😐 Sorry if I am wrong 😐
@@motivationstash963 haha its nothing to worry about.
I was 19 while writing the comment, I got 1 year older since.
Why are you asking? :)
@@thomsasus nah nothing special actually i also think like that and i didn't know how to verbalise my feelings but when i read your comment i was like that is it. This is exactly what i wanted to convey. So i thought maybe it's a age thing like i am 16 and i want to learn a lot of things which older people might consider useless 😐.
And i also found this channel like 6..7 hrs ago and from now on he is my inspiration i was like this person right here is learning all sort of things and here i am wasting my life no wonder there is no excitement to live in my life. This guy right here answered a question which i was in my mind for a long time the question was why do i not feel like getting out of bed in the morning and why is my life so boring. He made me realise that complaining will not solve anything and i should learn new things and stuff only then my life will be excited. Thank god i found this
Thank you so much Mike, you're videos helped me to face off my shyness!!! Keep grinding!

The story of a kickflip. Kickflips are just the best feeling in the world when you first learn them. Its like everything in your life finally has meaning or something.
Him in 2032: I learned how to destroy the moon
Him in 2050: I learned how to do a kickflip on the surface of the sun
Him in 2100: I learned how to do a backflip

He even caught it just a little bit lol. This makes me want to buy a board so bad it isn't funny... I don't know how well my body would handle it in my precipitated advanced age, but I'd sacrifice some tissue to find out.

I decided to subscribe you after I watch a few videos you posted. I'm from Tawian. This is the first video I saw from you, you're just insane! You really don't give up on learning new things even though you failed many times . Learning those skills aren't very easy, the animation you made is also impressive! I don't really comment on RUclips but you made me admire you! Good job and gotta keep learning new stuff!
It is really cool seeing the mistakes you made and knowing that you had the determination to keep trying.. So many of us mess up and think we are just unable to learn something..But the Reality is even PROs started off as newbies who had no clue how to pull stuff off til they fell a hundred times , the only difference is they got mad and did it 101 times instead of giving up..
Great work..and AWESOME Determination bud !❤️
Watching you struggle to get that kickflip right made me empathise with you because sometimes there are things which we can't get right even after sooooo much of hard work.... But seeing you not quit felt very good and in the 1-2 min of the video I was very nervous whether you are gonna make it or not and when finally did it, I was very happy felt pride and triumphant.... I am explaining a lot because this video had a huge impact on me and instilled a sense of confidence in me and the spirit to never give up no matter what!
Thank you Mike!
Thank you for the heart, Mike! ❤️

I've been skateboarding for 8 years now, i can relate so much haha it takes multiple week or months doing it every single day to be able to land it properly first try. And the thing you said about your body turning, thats actually why skate is so hard, you need to surpass your natural body reflexes to land side ways on the board ! So congrats
for me me its 6 years, but I only know how to change directions and such because im too scared on doing skills lol
@@adamharries610 if you will never fall, you will never learn

that feeling of the first flip trick is amazing, I've been trying to get it again with many different skate tricks but nothing feels the same. Now I'm working on my first late trick, the late heelflip and hope that I will get that feeling again when I will finally land my first one

At 8:35 there's text that pops up only for a second that says "I need anything, anything that will stop me from living in the kind of death I used to live, the death called comfort." Mike are you ok?

Congratulation Mike for the kickflip and your dedication to learning. In my youth I have skateboarded for 8years or so. I can totally agree that this is one of the hardest sports in the history of sport, as you can combine any trick with (almost) every trick and do them normal stance, switch, fakie or nollie.
7:46 that's what she said😂
After skating for over ten years, sometimes I forget how overwhelmingly difficult it was to learn each and every new trick. Some would take hours, some would take months. I know it's too late, but I recommend learning while in motion. It will make your life 1000x easier. If you do this again, try a heel flip or some variation of shove-it, but while moving forward. Extremely satisfying.
Watching you land the kickflip brought me flashbacks to my first land. The sensation is overwhelming and the practice was worth it!
that kickflip was AWESOME dude, I wish I had the dedication to keep practicing things like you!
The laugh at 5:47 truly made my day
The part where you said I feel like I’m so close but yet so far away when learning the kick flip is literally the perfect description of skateboarding haha great stuff mate
Your high kick is very good mike. It took me a year to fully learn it. You got it in few days lol
