Tom jones is everything! Talent, charisma, looks, amazing singer. He's as good now as he was in 1969. I'm so glad his music and videos exist for my generation who was born when he was making music. He's quite a guy.
I'm 68, still listening to Tom. When I was married very young, i went to sleep listening to Tom, woke up to Tom. When" Delilah" song came out, my husband said, that's enough, can't take it anymore and no way you better even think of naming the Baby after Him or Delilah! ...so funny.

Don't know what type honki- tonk music was so great, I was going to church. At least I had a little happiness listening to Toms music when I was home from work. I walked right out after being abused for 3 yrs. With our Daughter that he would never hold. When I started walking, I kept going, 5 States away, not knowing anyone. So, i sure wasn't playing games. Gave him his FREEDOM! As I took my FREEDOM.
I grew up with Tom Jones because my mother had all the albums and she used to play it all the time and I learned all his songs word by word. My mother was a very big fan and so was her mother my grandmother when she came from Spain she heard him and saw him and fell in love. I still get goosebumps when I hear his music. But my grandmother died many many years ago and my mother died in 2001 I still have his album playing here with them and I listened to him all the time.

We're all so fortunate that these amazing performances were recorded and preserved and will now remain immortalised due to youtube etc. There must have been so many amazing performances in Las Vagas and the early club performances in the UK that are lost forever. Thankfully Mr. Jones has been very prolific throughout his life and has adapted and moved with the times, reinventing himself over and over again and able to turn his voice to almost any genre. Sings better at 80 than many who are in their 20's.
Listening to Sir Tom Jones sing anytime is a blessing. I have been listening to him for 55 years…always relaxes and soothes me…and I am 74…..saw him in concert once in Ft. Worth, Texas…has to be at least 50 years ago and it was one of the most outstanding concerts that I have ever attended and I remember it so well. He has an amazing voice even to this day…March 9th, 2022. I just wish he would change his mind about meeting his younger son….blood is blood regardless how the young man was conceived. Tom, you will never regret meeting your child and your oldest son NEEDS to have a brother to lean on when you leave this world. This child should at least have the opportunity to meet you, to hear about his aunt and his grandparents, to hear about your life growing up in Wales…he is also half Welsh. You don’t have to see or talk to his mother…but, do yourself a favor and meet your son before something happens to you…or to your older son…or to your younger son. I lost my oldest son on 9-4-2019…in 3 days he would have turned 54 years old…even though I have a younger son and five younger daughters, I would give what ever years I have left if my son could come back and live out the years he should have had. We lost his oldest child and only daughter on 12-5-08 in a car accident…she was only 21 years old…my son left behind his two sons who were only 18 and 15…they have suffered so losing their dad…he loved them so much…but my bastard of an ex was too tired from his 10 day European vacation to come to his oldest son’s memorial service…how do you think he looks in the eyes of his grandson…and of anyone who even hears about that he could not even make an effort to come to Rick’s memorial? He looks like a selfish, immature little boy…that is how he looks and if his parents had still been living, they would have been embarrassed and ashamed by his behavior…they loved their oldest grandson so. And even though your parents and your sister are gone, I am sure that your parents would want you to stand up and be the kind, caring man and father that they raised you to be. The whole world loves you…give your child the chance to do the same. Such a beautiful voice, a handsome man even today…show the world and your family that you have the strong character that your parents instilled in you as a boy and as a young man having to stay in bed with TB for two whole years to eventually take on the responsibilities of a husband and father at only 16…you are a proud Welshman…show the world that you can do more than just look good and sing. Give your child a chance to know you before it is too late….do it now!!

I saw Tom Jones at the Sheffield City Hall a few years ago and his voice was unbelievable it had such power. You can always tell an amazing singer when the audience sit still and in total silence and awe which is what happens with Tom.

Not too sure, Elvis’ was far more powerful and Sinatra’s was a lot more crisp and clean. Toms is the best in another aspect, but I just can’t describe it

Saw him live 3 years ago he was in his late 70s. Voice still as strong and just as charismatic. A truly incredible and beautiful experience! My sight is failing but his voice rekindles yesteryears so vividly. I consider my generation so so lucky to have the music/musicians of 60s and early 70s.
