I was going into my Senior year of high school that Summer of 1970 and I had no idea any of this was even going on! I would have loved to witness this as it happened and not 5 decades later even in a newscast. This wasn't even discussed anywhere back then on the news or anywhere but for perhaps Las Vegas and Hollywood. The fact that millions of us back then missed this era of Elvis as teenagers makes it all the more precious as for a lot of us it hearkens us back to our teenage years with the decade of the 1970's before us.
