      @@thirdcoast6513 I dunno if it's purely the luck of the draw but I literally cracked two foil Scalding Tarns from the last Modern Horizons 2 set box I opened up. If you're just looking for fetches it might be more ergonomic to buy them as singles but you can definitely find some that set if you want to just open packs.

    This whole episode is a masterclass in trolling. I have learned so much, primarily the importance of updating ones life total after resolving a Polluted Delta.

    35:58 Setup. Patrick explains how to manipulate a novice player and provides an example.
    36:48 Very funny.
    46:00 Payoff. Professor has the opportunity to surveil and leaves a card on top of his deck that he likes. Patrick, knowing that its a card he wants to keep, convinces the prof to surveil the card anyways with a boast so ridiculous that the prof falls for it and rids himself of a Flusterstorm. And it cost him nothing. Genius.

    All Shuffle Up and Play have been great watches, but this one is definitely one of the very best. The chemistry and banter between Patrick and Cedric was absolutely hillarious, and the Professor an equally great job of bouncing them off each other, and acting as a go-between. Great stuff all around.

    I reaaaaaally enjoy the matter of fact way of speaking when going about a normal game of magic they have. It's a perfect mix of extremely professional, and sarcastic banter that every magic player can follow.
    Would love for them to be another staple Shuffle Up & Play group. Like once every couple of months they come around and shoot the breeze with Prof (and maybe others.)

I mean I like all your stuff but I hav'nt played magic myself in a few years because I've seen the direction that the company has been going and I'm just not into that.     So ironic that, in all his harping about the 1 life point from polluted delta, Patrick was never correctly referring to the effect. The polluted delta doesn't deal damage, it required Cedric to pay life! Totally different Patrick!

    I've watched these guys on streams for a LONG time and have even played against them both a few times. I always fracking love the sarcasm laced commentary between them. The banter here very clearly shows these 2 have known each other a very, veeeery long time. The Prof hopping in on the banter train was cute too.
    Easily in my top 3 favorite episodes of SU&P.

    I was going through really rough time, and was coping by watching SCG tournaments (mostly Legacy). Patrick Sullivan and Cedric Phillips together releases so much feel good chemicals for me. Love seeing these guys together and actually playing Magic together, instead of just commenting (though I'd watch them commenting too)

    My favorite Cedric line i have ever heard was when he was casting a SCG Open and The Boss Ross was playing modern infect and the most profoud words i have ever heard came out of Cedrics mouth, i have them written on my cube, "9 is not 10"
