is it a beef chuck u use?😊
I wouldn’t use chuck as it’s a stewing beef. I’d use something like rump which doesn’t need to be cooked for ages

I’ve made this recipe and it is the ONLY ONE THAT STAYS CRISPY. We used to order this dish from a Chinese restaurant in the city (not cheap either) and it would always be soggy - only one time was it ever crispy and we’ve been chasing that high forever until I made Nagis version. It slaps. My father in law was like seriously that’s AMAZING. So delicious 10/10 over garlic fried rice 🤤
