    I love crispy chilli beef. My absolute favourite. I still remember the day I first had it. Blew my mind. I was in magaluf last year and went to a reallly nice Chinese restaurant there and their crispy beef was really long pieces and it was heaven.

    I didn’t have all of the ingredients for the sauce so I used regular soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce and a bit of Korean chili paste! It turned out wonderful and is such a simple and easy dish to make! Love it.

    Thanks Marion! I just made this dish and it was delish. The only tweak was instead of deep frying beef in oil I cooked beef in airfryer after spraying beef with some oil. The beef came out crispy with minimal oil. 😊

    I’m going to try this next week, I tried a chilli beef by the dumpling sister and it looked similar to this and it was Devine and that one was made with an orange juice instead of honey but I love honey too so I think this one will be just as delicious and I can’t wait to serve it to my partner thank you.

    I made this and it was SO YUMMY!
    I used rice flour instead of corn flour and oyster sauce instead of hoisin. Didn't have any sort of juice so skipped that out. My beef was a bit tough though, i think i overcooked it.

    I made it today it turned out amazing! I didnt have hoisin sauce and chinese whine, i made without and added worcestershire and oyster sauce instead, still delicious, next time will add some cashew nuts. Thank you for sharing this recipe ❤🙏

    WOW!! I wonder if it'll be OK to use an air fryer for the beef strips as a healthier alternative instead of deep frying?

    I made this last week, wow, it is so delicious. Marion is right about having small pieces of meat. I was worried they would be dry being so small but they really are a luxurious burst of flavour in your mouth. I served this with a side of stir fried brocolli and cauliflower. Would love to serve it for guests when quarantine is over, its that kind of dish :)

    So you sauté the beef instead of deep frying it no? It wouldn't be as crispy, but would be an healthier option... 🤔🤓🤙🏾

    That looks AMAZING!! A couple of questions. This looks very much like the Orange Beef I used to eat. If I add a few curls of orange peel, would that add some orange flavor to it? Also, what do you think about double frying the beef? Would that keep it crispier once you dump it in the sauce? Thanks for an awesome video!

      The Exercise Scientist Adding some finely grated orange zest would certainly give it that orange beef flavour! Yum! And I don’t find it necessary to double fry the beef (it might also overcook the beef too)...but you could always test it out! 😊

    I tried this recipe, and the reduced soy turned out to be unbelievably salty! It actually ended up being inedible and the sauce spoiled the beautiful crispy beef we made...what did I do wrong??

    Suggestion, double frying your beef will make it more tender and also more crispy in that sauce

    Try adding egg to the meat mixture before the corn starch. Makes it extra crispy.
