You can be disappointed in Roxy not being in season 8, but I see it as her being spared from being in it.

I almost want to think Roxy doesn't exist within the winx universe anymore, like almost as if season 4 has been written out of the timeline... But then again, Roxy was in World of Winx s1 then disappeared in s2, so maybe Roxy is just busy and doesn't have time to do the show as much anymore lol. She just comes and goes.

I hate how Stella went from a badass fierce woman to a small whiny child in personality.. in the first season she could honestly sometimes even be a better leader than bloom was
i agree. she was strong and feminime and knows how to stand up for herself. nowadays shes just a whiny and annoying character
I was just rewatching all transformations, and Stella used to give this scary angry stare to the enemy before transforming in the first seasons... I didn't remember her that serious...
Yah well Stella DID destroy that lab in season 1 so shes always gotten into trouble lol. But uah her character was still messed up..

Season 8 is a big turn off to me. The censorship written all over Enchantix, the fact that Aisha and Flora's skin got lighter, the fact that Stella's hair looks like she mistakes Clorox Bleach for shampoo. I prefer the original winx any day.
No subs No content I thought I was the only one with an issue with Stella’s hair! Her hair is supposed to be a beautiful golden blonde reminiscent of the sun, not that bleached pastel yellow we got.
Aisha and Flora's skin got lighter due to a new color palette, same with Stella's hair. Everything is lighter to accompany the new art style
@@thapelosishi I have seen this argument a lot and I do not think it justifies anything! If the colorpalette you choose whitewashes people then you still whitewash people. Either choose a different colorpalette or be prepared to face backlash. This is whitewashing.

I’ve never understood their insistence of bloom having such a high pitched voice, especially when she never really had one in the earlier seasons. I’ve never been a fan which is a problem because she’s one of my favourite characters and yet I can’t stand listening to her speak

Valtor was absolute daddy. I just don't understand why they changed the art style. Winx Club already have a huge fan base and I'm sure they could find a handful of people who could mimic the original Winx Club style.

Honestly, you should do your ranking on best to worst Winx club songs in your opinion. Winx club damn near doesn’t have any bad songs in my opinion but it’ll be interesting to see your view on it.
If Unicorn of War heeds your suggestion, then I hope she keeps it to just the transformation songs because are six albums, the Winx Club in Concert songs and the 4Kids music.
That's so true! In anime fandom, usually there's a saying smtg like you can hate the story or the character. But you can't deny that the songs are great. That's why i usually don't see people fight in the comment section of the songs n RUclips.
I personally love most of the Winx Club songs. 4kids especially. Gosh Feels like magic, Mean Girl is popular, magic in my heart, those 3 are my favourites. I tried to listen to the Rai version but personally not my cup of tea, cause i'm not fond of the voice.
I'm just sad there are some TV version songs that wasn't released.

After watching this series I came to the conclusion that I wanna watch the show in the Italian dub with English subtitles, but I can't find a subbed version anywhere. If anyone can help with that I'd be more than grateful

I never knew the Winx Club dubbing situation was this messy and complicated 😂 As much as I dislike the usual 4Kids dialogue changes and censorship, their voices for the Winx Club were pretty memorable, distinct and suited the character archetypes pretty well
In my opinion, yes 4Kids made a bunch of stupid changes, but honestly the dialogue sounds more natural. I’m not kidding, the Rai dialogue sounded like a translated script half the time.
Lots of untrue fan rumors around the DuArt/3Beep situation. First off- Nick's work on the show didn't end! They're still part of the same company as Rainbow (Viacom) and did the English scripts for Season 7. Only the dubbing stopped, which was cast by Viacom but was NOT done by them. The "Nick dub" was actually recorded by Atlas Oceanic, not Nick's recording studio. Unfortunately the fandom does not like to research things (just like how the fan-named "Rai English" dub wasn't done by Rai at all, it was done by Cinelume in Canada).
I think I was the first person to refer to it as the Cinélume dub, starting when I started ripping the R2IT DVDs back in 2006 (I imported S1 from Italy). Mainly because I actually read credits ;p
@@fnjesusfreak That's awesome. It's my pet peeve that the RUclips fans (WinxClubEnglish especially, who's even a licensed partner) still use "Rai English" and stuff. It's wrong and doesn't give Cinélume (or later Atlas Oceanic) the credit they deserve

Her name is "Dorana", but sometimes they mispronounce it as "Dorona".
The first one is "dur-ah-nah" with the second one being "dur-oh-nah." It's a difference of A and O. :)

I tried to watch WoW but just couldnt get past the art style/whitewashing and boring plot. Didn't even try season 8. Thanks to your videos I think Im gonna go rewatch the first 6 seasons in italian though, you've convinced me there.

bakugou shrimp people care about the colour of fictional characters because it’s called representation children who watch a show full of just white people wont know that there are other races or other races won’t be normalised for them also so people who aren’t white can relate to characters more because believe it or not,not everyone is white also it’s just a good and nice thing to make your cast more diverse unless it doesn’t make sense to the story. It’s not really fair that coloured people don’t see them selfs often in things like there’s only one black Disney princess so if your black and you want to dress up as a Disney princess u can only dress up as Tiana which sucks if u don’t like Tiana as there’s no other options and Asians only have mulan and overall its just no rlly fair

i know nothing i say is gonna satisfy you but for the record i have seen wow/s8 art and genuinely mistaken both flora and aisha as bloom multiple times. their skin is white now. there's no rule against using brown in pastel color schemes, plenty of people do it, so it's not an excuse. it's not even difficult to comprehend, you just want to excuse it because you're a superfan or something.
i highly recommend season 2 you dont really need to watch the first to know whats going on its much more interesting especially with the nemesis
I watched this show when it first came out with 4kids many many years ago when I was in elementary school. (I’m now 26 wow!) I loved the voice actors used in 4kids especially Musas. I hate all these art work changes ugh 😖 I liked the first seasons art work best.
Agreed! I actually remember looking it up on RUclips when I was younger and 4Kids wasn’t airing it anymore and I ran into the Rai dub because the theme song was different, but I didn’t watch it. I was actually so shocked and sad, because I remember wondering what happened if her parents were actually alive or dead and if they’d be reunited, I remember the last line “Mom, dad, I think we’re going to meet very soon” and then nothing, especially considering 4Kids planned to dub the movie, I’m still bitter Dubbing Bros didn’t at least offer to hire the 4Kids VAs.

For the next video,it would be interesting if you touched on the Winx Club comics. The history,the similarities and differences between it and the show, and maybe what it does better than the show. I never see any WC YT talk about so it would be neat.
You should hear the Dutch voices. It might be just my taste, because I'm Dutch, but I think that they all have the perfect voice actresses (both Tecna's voice actresses). And even though you probably don't understand a word of it (by the way you can probably use subtitles) it sure is amazing! I seriously recommend it!

I'm French and I'm glad that the voice actress litteraly never changed over the years. From season 1 up to season 7 (I didn't saw season 8) it's the same cast, and I seriously love them.

I do love the Winx Club series but I have some mix feelings about Winx Club season 8 because the story is a bit off. First obscurum team up with Valtor half way in the episodes and then later the Trix have returned and team up with Valtor again for the second half of Season 8.
But it's not just the episodes it's self but the characters in Winx Club season 8 doesn't make sense.
1. Orion- we only seen him halfway until after episode 13 and never seen Orion again for the rest of the Season 8 like if he's done for good
2. Diaspora- Now I have a lot of issue with Diaspora returning in Season 8. Back in Season 6, Diaspro team up with the Trix after they conqued Eraklyon Institute and was promise to be part of the Trix's team after she succed in taking down Bloom which Diaspro is willing to. However Diaspro suddenly disappeared after the confront with Bloom's sister Daphne and never been seen for the entire Season 6 which doesn't really make sense.
But now Diaspro reappeared in season 8 at Eraklyon Palace instead of attending still at Eraklyon Institute. What I've notice that she wasn't punished for what she had done at Domino or her scheme from Season 3 like if these event never exist in the first place.
What bothered me is that Diaspro is still after Prince Sky again and this she tricking him to go on her Eracklyon misson but failed and then left at the beginning of episode 19 which doesn't make any sense either. What else doesn't make sense is why hasn't Diaspora transform to her fairy form just like she did back on Season 6 in order to help Sky against the black unicorn 🦄 or during their fake mission.
3. Musa and Riven- They've break up their relationship at the near end of season 6 but in season 8 they got back to together again which doesn't make sense at all in the first place or why Riven return in the series.
The worst of all in Winx Club Season 8 which I felt is unfinished is the abandon story of Icy's kingdom and her sister sapphire still curse as a white fox by the Shamon Witch. I just felt this is wrong and I'm I'm hoping that the upcoming Winx Club Season 9 will continue were Season 8 left off.

Why don't you review foreign dubs of the winx in a video? Like a universal thing! For the greek one (since I know for reasons everyone understands) Use either season 2 or three (thats where the voices are best for trix, the winx, abd the teachers). (You will be kinda underwhelmed by roxie just to let you know! It was a good chunk of many people's childhoods here. Hopefully you will love the idea. Obscurum voice got squeaky right after being reform and turn back to argan and still got his obscurum voice with a high pitch tone

I think Nickelodeon had the best dubbed voices. They had more emotion to them than the others. They also had much more realistic tones when situations turned from bad to good. They sounded like real people to me, all the other voices just sounded like they were reading it straight off the script.
Also Elizabeth Gillies as Daphne and Ariana Grande as Diaspro were genius

The voices aren’t bad, but I still like 4Kids waay more, especially because of the personalities. Nick changed Bloom, Stella, Leila, and the Trix to sounding childish half the time

12:07 The way Musa puts it is like Riven was off on like some guy time joy trip rather than needing to think about and better himself and she sounds like the scorned girlfriend who didn’t get to go along when she initiating the sendoff and honestly. Just implying that he should have contacted her throughout that time and that he should have called. makes her sound controlling. Granted I have not watched that season (nor will I) nor the episode where he left in full. I did watch the scene after years of not keeping up with the show and was sad even though I had next to no idea what was going on lol I loved all the guys when I first watched winx but now that I have fallen into types of anime/animated guys I like. Riven is now in a league of his own even though he is an ass for almost the entire series... that must say a lot about me now lol
I honestly kinda enjoyed Icy and Stormy’s Duart voices in season 7. Darcy’s though...
Let’s just say she sounds too much like season 1 Bloom. It doesn’t matter which dub.

Gotta say that Lisa Ortiz didn't really change her voice that much, during that Icy clip I really only heard her Lina Inverse voice from Slayers which is super distracting since Lina is one of the most iconic spellcasters in anime history.

Can't really say much about the English but the French dub in general is AMAZING, literally so good, when I saw how bad some the English dub was sometimes, i was so grateful that I'm able to understand French
