Mythix had SO MUCH potential they could've made it where each girl's design is based on a fairytale character and they could've done something along of lines of making a contract with the fairytale character/creature to earn Mythix. They can even make Mythix a powerup like Charmix if they wanted to.
Nabu shouldn't have died, but Sky's death would've put Bloom in the spotlights again. We need another specialist to die. Make Riven sacrifice himself for Musa or something. 💀
Fr tho like first of all since when was bloom the main singer shouldn’t that be musa since she is the fairy of music and they better find a way to bring nabu back to life
The thing about season 5 is that it deals with the ocean you'd think the FAIRY OF WAVES would play a bigger part in this season. This season could be better it was the main focus was on Aisha. other than that I think seasons 2,3 and maybe 4 were the best ones. I feel like if they focus more on the lore of the magix and etc. Then it can be better
@Hope for Aisha Man haven't even watched it yet and its making me mad. Like we get it Bloom is the main character but it makes the winx club less interesting when it's always about her.
that's why I think season 5 is a bottom tier season. the season was built around aishas family yet her role was so insignificant and it had the worst finale ever. Aisha being kidnapped and Bloom melting the trident as if she couldn't do that like 20 episodes earlier. unsatisfying mess.
It was centered more around what her powers were and her family more than who she was which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but you’d expect it to be more about her in general.
Honestly Season 2 and 3 are just peak Winx Writing, Storytelling and animating. They go hand in hand and feel like the most natural transition. Season 2 gave us some serious growing up storylines. Layla/Aisha with her fear of being alone. Layla/Aisha and Stella butting heads over being polar opposites of women. Layla/Aisha forming a deep, truly connected friendship with Musa. Layla/Aisha being established as not only the sporty one but also as the one who can dance an fight and be emotionally raw and honest. Musa struggling with her passion for music and wanting to peruse it as her dream. Musa struggling with trusting Riven and actually building trust with him, speaking her mind with him. And the Jared thing. (She is the first of all girls that has two love interests). Musa struggling with the shared trauma she has together with her father about her mother's death. Flora falling in love with a sweet and sensible guy but both of them kinda f. It up because they are both shy and nervous as heck. Stella being so f.ing committed to loving Brandon that she's willing to die for it. Bloom outgrowing some of her jealousy regarding Aisha/Layla. Tecna accepting that her type of guy doesn't have to be what a stereotypical "buff" guy has to be and learning to trust his planning skills. Brandon and Sky, Flora and Bloom and the Yoshinoya plot. Which was the best and first exploration of another plant we got up to that point. Sky actually having a real flaw : Jealousy and trust issues. Riven actually not being a dick for once. Helia outshining every other specialist and offering a pacifist option in this magical but brutal dimension. Ms. Griselda being a f.ing badass teacher. And so so much more. And season 3 picks it right up. Aisha/Layla having the duty of a princess and having to see her people suffer. Aisha/Layla having to cope with the fact that her parents would rather stick to traditions then listen to their own daughter. Layla/Aisha giving Musa the smackdown that Riven is a dick. Musa having to confront the possibility that she could lud with her mother... And ripping it right away from her... While also punching my heart. Stella having to confront the fact that her divorced father is moving on. Stella facing abandonment by her father. And having such immense self doubt that she things no one actually likes her for her but only for her riches and looks. Tecna deciding that her life is less important that the lives of the entire world. Twice (once being asked to give up emotions). Flora as a big sis that has nothing but love for her sister. Bloom seeing her love of her life breaking her heart (again). Bloom being baited by her parent being used as leverage. Bloom being haunted by self doubt and feelings of inadequacy. Brandon having to oppose, his best friend and Prince, Sky. Valtor uncovering all the faultiness of adults. Like Cassandra and Diaspro and Chimera. Fragonda being a tree. Riven finally finding a real friend in Nabu. Nabu himself just being awesome. The introduction of how monarchies work in Magix. The introduction of the ballgowns. The level of depths given to the magical dimension. We explore Solaria for multiple episodes. The castle with the ballroom, Stella's rooms, the sun of Solaria room, the dove winter garden, the underground system of the palace, the fountains of Solaria castle. We get Andros. The fusion of land and water. A castle right on the level of the sea. A portal to a prison realm. The mermaids and their own royalty. The Shamans and their unique magic. It's by far what everyone should see if the Winx Club.
Season 2 is my absolute favorite. I love Aisha's/Layla's first appearance, the iconic Halloween episode, blushing Palladuim, Pixies, Charmix designs were sort of a meh but I still love them all :D!
@Laura Grigoletto plssss which episode i want to whatch that so bad ! Yes season 2 is the best of both worlds so many iconic episodes , the relationships started blooming we got mirta and lucy plus layla and the pixies just iconic
for me from worst to best: 7 - physically couldn’t finish it because I hated it so much. didn’t feel like winx. 6 - I didn’t hate the first half too much, but it’s not good, especially the latter half. +cgi for mythix is terrible. 5 - not good, could be worse. still feels like the winx tho. 4 - has never been my favourite but I respect it for what it is and I like it more than I use to. 1 - pretty good but it was still in its baby faze. 2 - dark bloom was so iconic to my childhood. 3 - it has enchantix, point made. (Can’t comment on 8, haven’t seen it)
@@kendraroth1276 Yes, I've noticed, I think it was season 7, when I watched it the dialogue felt like I was watching a pre school cartoon while season 1 to 4 felt like they were targeted towards teens.
My personal ranking would be: Season 3 (iconic) Season 2 (helia and flora's relationship was just so iconic! The final episodes were so great ughhhh) Season 5 (the music/songs is what does it for me, could've been better if we used this season for aisha's development) Season 1 (It feels a bit jarring watching this season when you know about where the show goes) Season 4 (used to be my favourite but I watched it so much that Im bored of it now) Onwards from Season 6 doesn't exist to me.
When I was a kid, I was shocked by Nabu’s death and years later, as an adult, I am still devastated but I couldn’t figure out why until I saw your videos. Nabu and Aisha was my VERY FIRST introduction to healthy black love. Yes they started out weird but quickly became my favorite pairing. It’s important for every black child to see that they themselves can get a fairytale happy ending. It doesn’t even matter that I’m a lesbian; Aisha looked like me and found her soulmate. Considering they are so many examples in media where black couples are struggling and unhappy with each other. So his death didn’t take away a good character, it took away good representation
Lol. Nabu is Indian coded. But I totally agree with you. They represented what a good, healthy relationship was and for Nabu to die, was the most disheartening especially since it took away that representation.
@@trampoline3309 Yes I know he’s Indian Coded but it was still 2 dark-skinned people finding happiness in one another And that’s what we ALL need to see
@@DiamondDollDark It was. I know the reason they made them out to be so happy was so it would hurt us as the viewer when Nabu eventually died, but characters of color always get the short end of the stick when they are main characters.
9:26 "The Winx don't seem to question why they're still together. Normally at this stage people start drifting apart as they pursue their own goals. (Season 4)" I'm glad you brought this up. I find this an interesting one. Of course the girls would stick together, because they're the Winx Club (lol)! And of course they have this mission together to find the last Earth fairy. Nevertheless, it would've been interesting to bring it up in some scene. I think the first movie kind of tried to do this, in that one scene after graduation when the Winx were in their room for the last time and sort of said goodbye to each other. But what if Musa's muscial dream had just stayed Musa's own dream instead of a Winx band - another thing they had to do together?
I also think it could have been really powerful to have a story where they *start* to drift apart and then reunite once they realize how much they need each other. it would have made their bond that much stronger!
Season One will always be my favourite season. Bloom was never my favourite character (Flora is ma girl!) but something about her self discovery journey got to me. I always cry at that scene when she goes into the lake and gets her powers back as Daphne talks about who she is and what's in her heart and how it can never be taken away from her 😂 I also like a lot of the self contained episodes and the army of decay battle is truly epic. And the Trix are the best! Especially Darcy 💗
I'm with you on Season 1 being my favorite. I'm originally a Stella bias, but Bloom's secret history was something people could also relate to. Doubting oneself until you become stronger than you were before. Although I gotta admit, Season 2 wasn't my favorite, but the plot on Lord Darkar was quite inventive and underrated. The fact that the villain let the Winx learn some spells because he's overconfident that he doesn't consider the girls learning as a threat is still something that amazes me.
@@gan5383 Yeah for sure Stella is a very close second favourite for me! The plot of Lord Darkar was pretty cool - too bad the voice actor made him sound like such a punky twerp! 😂
I used to... well. not dislike season 2, but not really like it either? I thought only parts of it were interesting and I was kind of bored from some episodes. But now it's probably my favorite one? Or atleast I like it as much as I like season 3. That one really has it all... So my favorites are 3 and 2, then 4 probably, then 1. I think I like 1 more but also Layla is one of my favorite characters and rewatching season 1 without her just feels wrong. Also 4 has Roxy. After few episodes of season 5 I stopped watching so I can't really rank the later ones but I feel like I wouldn't like them
just ignore the recent seasons, don't go near them, stay away, avoid at all costs, god that writing really went downhill and it actually makes me mad that they wasted such a good show with such good potential ok now I'm going to back to binge-watching Season 3 and 4 bye-
I also used to think Season 2 was kinda boring, and it didn't have the same intensity of visuals that season 1 had. But yes I learned to appreciate the plot now and it was good.
Yeees! Let's go. I love season 4, and probably still my favourite of all. I recognise the issues, especially the infuriating racial messages and still love how dark it was willing to go and loved seeing winx growing up.
Same honestly in my opinion ( so take this with a grain of salt ) the whole racial conflict felt like people just looking for reasons to start shit but again take this with a grain of salt
Hands down season 3 is my favorite and ik a lot of ppl don’t like it but season 5 is my second favorite season I’ve always been a fan of underwater themed anything
Same! Season 3 will always be my favorite season but season 5 is my second favorite for the same reasons. I love the underwater theme and basically everything about the Sirenix transformation
a meme that costed as: a sassy pink pusycat, purple agent of chaos doubling as a friend/rival to kiko, CUTE BROMANCE (AMAROK and SQUONK), "I'm gona steal yor boyfriend" bird, and overly attached magic pony
@@cyberhero5559 Only Enchantix fairies can access to higher fairy forms. Roxy doesn't have Enchantix yet and if she was an exception the writers would have stated it. She looks like a Believix fairy for marketing purposes. I would like to got the link to this wiki please.
the first three seasons are my top 3 and are generally equal, but season 1 just has a special place in my heart. the trix were my favorite villains, and i was super disappointed to see what they got turned into. in season 1, they were a genuine threat. after season 3, they became team rocket without the comedic effect.
It's true. Imagine that they were just students who tried to dominate Magix and the three schools. The fact that their deeds caused the teaching staff to be warned is showing how deranged they were with their obsession for power.
The fact that they didn’t give Bloom full enchantix just took season 3 to a whole other level for me. I like that even the keeper of the source of all magic isn’t exempt from the rules of fairy magic.
@Will N yeah I don’t exactly know what you mean. What I meant is that enchantix must be earned through sacrificing yourself for someone on your HOME PLANET. Bloom willed her enchantix so she didn’t have access to her full powers until after the 1st movie when she saved Domino and got it.
@Will N ummm… have you watched the movie. When is there a situation where Sky needs to destroy Bloom. And if you read my first comment I said bloom didn’t earn full enchantix, it is said many times in season 3 that she doesn’t have her full powers so she can’t miniaturize or she can’t always control her magic. Watch 3x18 again if you want to know what I’m talking about.
@Will N the whole point of my original comment was that even Bloom (keeper of the source of magic) couldn’t get full enchantix through sheer will alone. It seems to me that we are saying the same thing you think I’m saying something different. I just like that there was no exception for the main character like so many other shows do. Bloom had to eventually earn her full enchantix in the 1st movie just like the other girls did instead of her just getting all the powers because she wanted it bad enough. I like that the writers didn’t pull a Deus Ex Machina stunt and stuck to their own lore when it came to enchantix and how to earn it.
My personal ranking would be: 1. Season 3 Honestly, it had everything what a good season needs. A great villain, character development and an amazing and epic transformation. In my eyes Enchantix is the best transformation in the entire series and every fairy has her own individual design. I love to see new planets like Linphea and Andros and all those new characters. 2. Season 2 I love the debut of Aisha and the pixies, the relationship between Flora and Helia, the scenes with Aisha and Stella, and it also had a good main villain with Darkar. I liked Charmix even if it was to short. Dark Bloom was badass and I loved how the Trix were portrayed. 3. Season 5 I know a lot of people don't like this season but I still like it. I love the ocean theme, Harmonix was cute and the Sirenix song is so damn good. But the Sirenix outfits could have been so much better. (The prototype looks so badass). But I didn't understand why Diaspro was still on Eraklyon when she got banned and Crystal felt that she was only their that Flora could have some love drama. Yes, the CGI looks awful. Tritannus was an ok villain but this forced romance with Icy was akward. 4. Season 4 I liked Season 4 but I rather see the Magic Dimension then Earth. But I still liked Roxy and Believix was a great transformation as like the special wings. Even Lovix and Sophix. Nabu's Death was so emotional and it shocked me a big because it was still a kids show. And why couldn't Bloom save him? But what kinda sets me up is that Bloom steals the spotlight she is the singer instead of Musa and she also was the focus of the Sophix episode when Flora should have been in this place. I like Roxy and the earth fairies but the Love and Pet Shop was so unnecessary and annoying. 5. Season 1 Unfortunately, Tecna and Musa didn't get the spotlight and the season was a bit boring. Daphne, however, was my favourite in this season and her scenes were so beautiful. 6. Season 6 Eh, sorry but no. The Winx have nothing of their own individuals. They are all the same. The Trix are like Team Rocket from Pokemon. Selina is ok but Acheron is a complete joke. Mytix could have been better but it was so wasted. Bloomix has such an amazing design but the way how you earned it is also a joke. A backflip? Really? Daphne and Thoren was completely rushed. Why aren't Bloom and Sky already married? And Musa also got a horrible treatment...no Mythix Spell and of course Bloom has to steal the spotlight again. 7. Season 7 This season is a complete mess. The design of the fairy animals are cool. Tynix is a pretty transformation and Winx are looking like adults. But Butterflix is a downfall and the worst transformation in the whole show. They have almost the same dresses and the dance scene is so cringe. The storyline is so boring and this season is forgettable. 8. Season 8 I only saw three or four episodes. But what I saw was...ok... No, the whitewashing of Flora and Aisha is terrible, the new Sirenix outfits are ok, the new Enchantix is horrible and it looks so ugly. Especially Stella...what have they done? The new design make them look like toddlers and the specialists...it is just awful. Not even Valtor maked this season interesting for me.
actually season 8 are there now except for a couple of episodes but i agree it's not that much better i rank it slightly higher than this it's way too far from perfect but i'd choose season 8 over season 6 and 7 i definitely agree with season 2, 3, 4 and 7 though (season 8 is switched with season 6 and same with season 1 and 5) i love the way you explain why you (dis)like the seasons🥰🥰👍
Season 2 holds a dear place in my heart, but my top spot is a battle between 3 and 4, because i really like both transformations and storylines in both of those season!
Just to give some justice to why she's receiving the spotlight, the show focused on fairies fighting off evil. And this one trait that seems to always exist in Bloom is the combination of three things: (1) her natural abilities that made her kind of special, and (2) her bravery despite all her insecurities in being a fairy, and (3) the way she thinks and come up with some of the unique strategies in difficult situations. Here are some of the moments Bloom should at least be appreciated instead of hated for her screentime: (1) Decided to surrender the ring of Solaria in exchange for Stella's life. (Ref. Season 1 Episode 5 Date with Disaster.) (2) She legit blasted Stormy with a wave of her power when she was being prevented to save musa from being car-crushed by Darcy. (3) Encouraged the girls not to cheat on Wizgiz' pop quiz that earned their group's perfect score which was a valuable lesson to them as fairies. (4) She tried to save Riven from Darcy's trick. Yes she didn't know Timmy was a trap, but she still tried to chase Riven along with the motorcyclists to stop Riven from incurring further accidents. (5) Convinced the girls to be there for each other despite their differences with Flora. (Shown in Season 1 Episode 11 The Monster and the Willow) (6) Bravely went inside a giant monster's mouth to personally save Musa. (Also from Season 1 Episode 11) (7) Supported Stella in her Miss Magix Contest, but in return, she forces her to study so as not to flunk her test. (8) She took on Icy, Darcy, and Stormy inside a simulation test which wasn't supposed to be a part of the exam. She could've been trapped inside the simulation room and who knows what'll happen? (9) Retrieved the Dragon Fire for the sake of Magix even though she felt like quitting on being a fairy as she was responsible for all the mess the Trix are causing. (10) Yeah, she helped in saving Alfea by taking on Icy. (11) She risked her life to save Diaspro from being kidnapped even though they don't get along. (12) Tried to stop the Trix from stealing the codex from Cloud Tower which led to her temporary blindness. (13) Also offered herself along with Tecna to save Layla's planet by attempting to close the portal to the Omega Dimension. (14) Not really a big thing, but in Stella's mission to save her father from Cassandra, Chimera, and Valtor's spell, Bloom insists on letting Stella abandon their defense towards the guards to go after her father and stop Cassandra from kidnapping Radius. (15) Bloom tested on using her fairydust to free the spells Valtor sealed inside the Agador box, and it worked while she was being attacked unguarded. She basically freed a lot of the spells Valtor collected from the individual planets. (16) Only Bloom was not convinced that Valtor was gone. This is biased but, she was the only one who was able to detect his presence that prompted her to warn the girls to be on high alert. (17) Bloom was the one who outsmarted Valtor's trap when they're all fighting a creature in the image of their boyfriends. The creature was somewhat immune to their magic, and Bloom broke free of the trap, which freed the girls from the trap. Therefore, it's possible that the girls would have never won the battle in any case no one was able to figure out how to defeat their individual enemies before Valtor. Bloom understood the situation and used her connection to Valtor to free themselves. (18) Lastly, of course, and yet another biased one, is how Bloom risked her life to defeat Valtor by extinguishing his fire inside the monster form the Winx are fighting. Thanks to the three ancient witches, she now knows that Valtor was lying when he said Oritel and Marion are trapped inside him. (Funny how the Witches were the ones who helped Bloom when they were the first ones who attempted to steal her Dragon's Flame when she was a baby.)
@@nguyenmaiphuong4419 Right? Coz people seriously should stop hating on Bloom! The Winx may sometimes disagree with her but her crazy ideas always end up saving their friends. The Winx never hated Bloom despite the amount of attention she gets. It's high time someone stood up for her. She's not a detestable character. There's no actual reason for fans to hate on any of the Winx.
@@gan5383 Bloom is a responsible for her friends, she is a good leader who bravely fights for good things. She always gives advice to her friends when they have problems. When the Winx are in difficult situations she always offers the best solutions. They hated her so much that even when Nabu died in p4 they were furious and wanted Sky to die instead of Nabu (Riven was supposed to be the dead one). Anything related to her in the show, they always overreact and criticize her, even though she's not at fault. They said she is annoying and bossy (LOL Are they crazy???) @@nguyenmaiphuong4419 I FEEL YOU OMG. Like she has the right to boss around because more often than not she's always the one who have the best ideas that work out on the end. Like who else would lead the group? Sometimes other Winx members just help her brainstorm instead of being the first one to think of ways to solve the situation.😭
@@nguyenmaiphuong4419 and yes I agree with having their biases but not hating one of them. While Bloom does a lot of things, it's not fair that others should not appreciate the other girls because they're a literal team. Bloom gives the instructions most of the time because she knew the girls well and she knows who to ask. She was never doing it her way all of the time. She knows when she's the best judge of a particular situation. She looks out for all of the girls and she never abandoned a single one of them.
season 5 is really slept on. I don’t know why people say it’s a bad season and worse than 6. out of the Nick seasons, s5 the best one. It’s my 3rd or 4th favorite season :)
Season 5 is worst for me than six. Trittanus was ok but Trix, especially Icy who in other seasons is my favorite character is annoying in season 5. Also in season 8. But in other seasons Trix are awesome.
My favourite season is season 3. The plot was solid the character development and the transformations were just on point. I enjoy watching your Winx Club videos so much it's the main reason I've been subscribed to this channel. Enchantix will forever be my favourite transformation. Stay safe from the pandemic and I hope to see more Winx Club content in the future bye.
About the "The winx never question why they are still together" I think is because they only reunite again for the events of S4. In the first movie they split up and they only are together for the mission, then in Magical adventure they are again split up and only reunite for the mission, and then comes S4 where again they only reunite to teach and Alfea and then start their mission. So they technically start separate lives and they are used to it, but since they are the new company of light they have to be together for the missions.
Season 5 should’ve focused on Aisha Season 4 should’ve focused on the Winx struggle they should’ve taken inspiration from W.I.T.C.H which managed to focus on all the girls, their life struggles, as well as they fight against evil. On top of that in the second half with the Fairies of Vengeance it would make more sense for Bloom going bad. I mean imagine the impact of Sky dying, having Bloom, after spending all the time telling the other Fairies not to go for Vengeance, go full Vengeance and having the other girls having to pull her back. Help her get through the struggle instead of killing one of the only dark skinned main characters in the entire show. Also Season 3 is by far the best season in the show hands down
I think one of the biggest struggles of the series is that we had a story arc that took 3 seasons to develop and ended in a movie which basically just vanished. All seasons after that only had one story arc with with some subplots as exceptions. I also feel like seasons 4 ending was quite open? For me it felt like they intended so much more for future seasons but then came nickelodeon....
Nah, even without Nickelodeon it would've been the same. If you read interviews than you know that Rainbow are the ones who asked for this co-production to begin with. They wanted Viacom to partner them with some Nick Jr. writers so they'll help them to write stories for younger audiences. Straffi himself decided to lower the age demographic. Nickelodeon didn't ruin anything, they simply followed Straffi's guidelines. This is even further proven when you see Rainbow's catalog besides Winx Club. Their other shows like Regal Academy and 44 Cats are Rai Yoyo shows for 3-8 years old people. Nickelodeon did not co-produce these shows and only aired them internationally. You would've thought that if Nickelodeon has ruined the show than Rainbow would've at least attempted to write more serious stories with other shows they produce to make up for it, and yet they didn't, which proves that it was RAINBOW'S fault.
Season 2 is personal my favorite Charmix Everyone gets some plots and development Best premiere and ending Dark bloom, just, dark bloom Darker Aisha get introduced Pixies :P
I loved season five cause it was my introduction to the show, once I watched the earlier seasons I could see the issues of that season, it’s not my personal favorite anymore (season 2 is) but it is in my top four seasons
Personally despite season 4 being a big hit or miss for most people. I found it quire enjoyable probably my fsvorite. I was definetly the least bored throughout it. I also love season 3 2 and 1 so dont worry. Oh but, my god.... 6 7 and 8 i cant even any more. 5 is good but is sometimes boring
I love your videos and totally agree with the rankings. Also video idea: do you have any writing tips (characters and their personalities and hobbies, pacing etc)
The first three seasons were somehow balanced perfectly between feminine energy and yet not making it too "traditionally girly" but it never seemed to be "desperately trying to act quirky". Great plot, good fights, great villains, actual evil and brutal storylines, mature writing etc. Season 4 had some of the worst fights in the whole series (like, girls you need to MOVE AND ATTACK) but the plot was good and the whole growing up thing was GREAT. season 5 was nothing like the previous ones. It was refreshing but it didn't feel like Winx. 6-8 was just luckluster
This was a really good video and a solid list. Congratulations on your book too. Season two was always my favorite. I just liked how it felt more intense than season one right off the bat. Being more character driven definitely gives it an edge, especially when all of the girls get a chance to shine. The new additions to the cast, particularly Aisha, worked really well and I liked the finale. I think that the season one finale is still the best one, but the buildup to the season two finale and the payoff was really satisfying.
Unicorn or war: "You want a death that means something kill Sky." Me: "Please do. Him and Bloom's relationship is too sappy for me. Also they both have a bad habit of stating that obvious. I need Rivin I need somebody to roast with his McDonalds hairline. Also I need a relationship that is not almost perfect. Also I could care less about Sky he gets on my nerves a lot I roast him to. I roast all of the boys. But please get rid of him. The man got upset over a hoarse. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. He was my favorite until we met Helia. I got a question who do ya'll simp for before season 3. Helia, Timmy, Rivin, Brandon, or Sky. Me I simp for Helia but when season 3 hit it was Nabu and After season 3 it went right back to Helia."
Season 1 - Still my favorite season. I know a lot of people hate Bloom but you can't really blame the character. Like WTF she wasn't the one writing the story, and I don't think she's self-absorbed at all. She also doesn't take all the credit for victories as seen in Season 3 Alfea's Seige. The fact that she was just an ordinary girl who, one day discovered the existence of magical beings and then having to discover she was secretly a fairy is still a classic. Bloom was always interested about fairies but what made the plot really interesting is her secret history, and destiny. I mean, nuff said... She's only the KEEPER of the Dragon's Flame - the ALL POWERFUL ENERGY that ONLY CREATED THE WHOLE MAGIC UNIVERSE which was... For 16 years... Not known where she was at. That being said, she made it so far as a fairy from what she was in episode 1, learning about her friends, and being brave enough to battle the Trix even when the others couldn't help her. Doesn't it make sense why she's become the leader of the group? She was the newbie but she had growth and wisdom. Season 2 - Not my best bet, but I have to say that after watching Episode 23 - The Time for Truth, the plot is inventive and I would say genius. The fact that everything was all set up by Lord Darkar made him an effective villain. He was completely confident that the Winx weren't going to be a threat, but he lost sight of how the Winx were developing as a group, and how the Trix started to hate her which led to his defeat. Darkar didn't even leave his Shadow Castle, and it was a real challenge for the Winx and the Specialists to rescue Bloom. Season 3 - No doubt, that is the best fairy transformation I've ever seen on a cartoon, and the fact that the modifications were quite drastic made it thrilling to watch. At first, I legit thought from the teaser that Stella in Enchantix form was some kind of a Senior fairy, or that she's Diaspro given the lighter blonde hair. The plot was also good because it showcased how the Winx had to go through a lot of sacrifices just to save worlds and their friends. Again, Bloom was always a risk taker, and the fact that her plans work out 90% of the time kind of established why she had the spotlight. Of course, it's no denying the other Winx members had their own shine to their personality, but the plot literally tells you it's about fairies finding ways to defeat evil, which is why Bloom's leadership would earn her the spotlight for the show. I also wouldn't deny that the fairies could shine on their own in different ways, but for this show, I think a focus on Bloom is kinda needed to pioneer the journey. And, it's very typical for groups to have a leader, that's a no brainer. Season 4 - To be honest, I became excited for this because the trailer proved to be a refreshing take on Winx Club given the new songs, setting, and a closer look at their relationship with the boys. However, Roxy being the last fairy on Earth seems a bit redundant since Faragonda mentioned in Season 1 that she thought fairies on Earth are extinct, and that Bloom was a surprise to her. Although of course this is confusing knowing that she knew about Bloom's real identity. (Did anyone ever remember how Mike named Bloom, Bloom? I forgot). Anyway, the Believix song was catchy, and it had a nice spark to it, but to me, the combination of casual clothes to fairy aesthetics didn't really blend well in this look. I still think Bloom's wings are kinda weird because it looks like a doodled wings of a butterfly. Musa's wings was better but it still looks weird sometimes. Layla and Tecna's wings were very ok, and Flora had a nice wing look but I'm not sure if the ratio looked fine. I think ai prefer if it were as big as her Enchantix wings?
My favorites are definitely 4, 3 2, and 1. From 5 up I loved them I really did but something abt the earlier seasons is just different and s4 was just my kind of season bc the problems were so stupid yet real and it was just a nice change of pace bv not every relationship is perfect not to mention I love the introduction of Roxy
The season 4 issues involving how the heck they had no issues with the adoption center can literally be summed up with two words..."magic" and "Magix". They brought life to stuffed animals meant for the incinerator because they were a choking hazard, and probably used some miniaturizing spells to pack what could be months worth of food and supplies into their luggage, most likely payed for by Stella and Aisha's families and Bloom's birth family, from Magix. Flora's the Fairy of Nature so she practically manifests any plant needed for the girls, for potions and medicines for the pets, as well as vegetables and fruits for all of them...literally all they needed was a roof over their heads and a place to earn some proper Earth income. Which while it is an adoption agency, it offers other services that the girls most likely charge for, including petsitting the already adopted pets, little clothes for them, keeping the pets in shape, medicine, and food. All this the girls make themselves thanks to their magic and what they learned at Alfea, so really they didn't have to pay too many taxes...they had to get a business license yes but aside from that, the renevations and furniture, Magic solved their financial problem in every other aspect that came to getting the Love and Pet Running. At most they probably had to pay for the stuffed animals they turned into actual flesh and blood creatures and thats it.
Season 1 is always my favourite, all the Winx seem to have the most personality and I still get goosebumps during Bloom's "firsts", her first transformation etc-- and their base form magic Winx transformations are their best, sorry not sorry xx
Wow... was that predictable. Like, you already gave hints as to how you'd rank the seasons from worst to best in past videos so seeing the ranking being EXACTLY as I predicted it is not a shocker (lemme tell ya). Never-the-less, a good vid as always and congrats for releasing your book. Must've been quite the tedious process writing a 548 pages behemoth. YOU DESERVE ENCHANTIX MORE THAN FLORA!
I though you were gonna Musa or Bloom, because Musa earned it by saying from the bottom of her hear that she won’t let Galatea to be burned, and Bloom just got it by making a connection to the essence of Pyros and a bit of magical training.
Season 4 is so underrated. Season 3 has to be my top with season 4 following closely behind. There's so much character development in the season with all the girls, and it isn't just targeted so that Bloom is the main character.
In my opinion, from best to worst: - season 2/season 3 (I love them equally) - season 1 (also love it) - season 4 (still good) - season 5 (on the borderline of good and bad) - season 6 (bad, boring and childish) - season 7 (worse, more boring and incredibly childish) - season 8 (terrible in all ways, I couldn't even finish it because it's so bad)
Being perfectly honest, season two has always been my favourite season. I mean at the time I didn’t know there was any seasons past season 2 cause I watched it in 4kids! for like the longest time but I love season 2. Like I rewatch season two the most out of all the seasons. I do agree that enchantix is the best transformation though. Even if I don’t vibe with the pink introduced to Bloom’s design.
Some of those mini worlds had such Nick Jr like annoying childish creatures. But at least it wasn't in the S5-6 CGI style. Honestly, some of the worlds looked beautiful. There's not much wrong with Season 7 visually.
I always thought the reason they had some income from Love&pet shop is because the pets were adopted for free, but all the services such as Flora's treatment, Musa's singing classes were paid for. But yeah, that wouldn't be enough, lol
To me there’re only the first 3 seasons and the first movie which concludes the story. And personally I’m hella mad that 8 seasons and many movies do exist when it’s useless. But the Witch and Angel’s friends (witch are « ongoing » in terms of plot) didn’t get their adaptation conclued.
Technically the first movie didn't conclude the history, in fact it was never meant to be the end, when the first movie was release in cinemas they already had the second movie written that's why it have a post credit scene. Magical Adventure was always meant to be the ending of the history, but then S4 happen, they postponed the movie to be release after S4 with the same script but changing enchantix for believix for marketing purposes and... you know the rest
@@aukusuke9546 The second one is unnessesary, « The lost kingdom » tells the story we always wanted to know about : Bloom’s real parents and their meeting. From this moment, anything after is clumsily written, « badly » animated.
While I love season 3 as my favorite season (other than the first one and honestly the 5th one for a few reasons), I had one nitpick about season 3 and that's with Tecna's Enchantix. I understood how and why Bloom's was incomplete due to how she earned it but I felt like Tecna's should have been somewhat incomplete too. Ms. Faragonda said that a fairy would earn their Enchantix through sacrifice but it was also due to them saving someone from their own world. Aisha earned hers by sacrificing getting her sight back to save her aunt's life, Stella sacrificed her own life to save her fathers, Musa sacrificed her own life to save the princess of her world and Flora for her sister. Those were people from the Winx's realms that were saved and yet somehow Tecna earned her Enchantix by saving someone else's world???? This is my only major problem with the season ad I'm sure that I'm overreacting about it in this comment. But yeah........................Tecna's Enchantix bugged me for the whole season.
The omega portal wasn't just threatening Andros, though; it was threatening the entire magical universe. I always thought she earned her Enchantix there because, by closing the portal and saving Andros, she was saving the entire magical universe (including Zenith).
yep, the previous two pretty much got it. the portal wouldve destroyed andros directly, but then unleashed hell (pretty much) on the rest of the magical universe. which is why it wasnt just a threat to andros, but the whole universe. by closing the portal, she not only protected andros, but also saved the rest of the universe. by the enchantix logic, it shouldve been stronger, if anything
I understand where your opinion comes from but Tecna saved the whole dimension, not just andros😉😉👍 Tecna is my favourite sacrifice to earn her enchantix but i respect your opinion🥰🥰
I appreciate everyone's civil replies to my comment and I thank you for that. I am starting to see your points as I had forgotten that little detail. I just remembered that they said that the planet of Andros would be destroyed and didn't remember hearing anything about the rest of the magic dimension being in danger though yeah now I see how that would have impacted more than just Andros. So, thank you guys for clearing that up. :D
Love your videos! my top are 1. Season 3 2. Season 2 3. Season 1 4. Season 4 5. Season 5 6. Season 6 7. Season 8 8. Season 7 Almost on the same "page" 😂 also speaking about pages.. congrats on your book girl!! Slay
season 4 was quite nostalgic for me especially because they tackled some issues that other cartoons can't tackle although nabu dying was unnecessary in my opinion, I do have high hopes for season 9 since I've heard that it will be for both adults and for kids to enjoy
My favourites are Winx Club Series are Season 5, Season 6 and Season 7 because I do love the improvement of characters designs, voices and beautiful colour scenery and the stories continue to where Winx Club Season 4 left off too thanks to Nickelodeon. Although I still wished some of the episodes improve a bit especially that some characters that never made sense or explained: 1.Politea only appear in one episode with no speaking voice however she does appear again in the third Winx Club movie with her speaking voice. But we don't know any of Politea's backstory except that she was once Daphne's friend and a Sirenix fairy but still don't understand why she betrayed Daphne in the first place before she too was curse by the ancestral witches. 2.Princess Krystal has appeared in some episodes back in season 5 but only appeared once in season 6 but never been seen again after that. I mean if Princess Krystal a new student at Alfea along with Roxy then at least try to get she seen more especially that we never got to see her fairy form tranformation. 3.Diaspro return in Season 5 despite that she was suppose to be banished from Erakyon after Season 3 which never made sense. What's bother me is that Sky's parents turn deaf ear as if they have forgotten a everything that happened back in season 3 never really happened. In Season 6 Diaspro attending Erakylon Institute which never been explain why she's there. But I have to be honest but Diaspro's return is a big disappointedas she only appear in two episodes and then disappear for the rest of the season. I really don't understand the point of this Diaspro being involved in "The Golden Auditorium" and "Vortex of Flames", I mean Diaspro team up with the Trix after they conqued Eraklyon Institute and I thought of the time that we get to see more of Diaspro in the entire season 6 but unfortunely that never really happen. Because after Diaspro throw Bloom to the fire pit and then she suddenly disappeared after the confront with Bloom's sister Daphne and never been seen after this which doesn't really make sense. If she was serious about becoming the Trix's allied then we would have seem more of Diaspro at Cloud Tower along with Lazuli,Jade and Rhody and the rest of the Cloud Tower Elite. 4.Lazuli,Jade and Rhody were once Fairies from Eraklyon Institute before they decided to enrole at Cloud Tower and join the Trix as the Cloud Tower Elite. But after the Trix were locked away in the Legendarium book, Head Mistress Griffin return to take over the school again which leave me a big question like were Lazuli,Jade and Rhody were accepted into Cloud Tower at the end of the episode or have they given up and return to Eraklyon Institute to become fairies again like Selena? Because I would liked to know what becomes of them since they're never seen again as none of the reappear in Season 8 episode 16. 5.Roy appear back in Season 5 and return in Season 6 but I've notice during the whole series that Roy has been competing with Nex for Aisha's affection. In episode 15 he was ignored by Aisha as she and Nex share little bonding while surfing to the island. I can't believe the other Winx Club and Specialist haven't notice this situation because if they have then they would have done something about this. What even more strange is that at end of episode 24 Roy hasn't appear in episodes 25 and 26 finale of Season 6 and never been seen again which doesn't make sense at all. I would liked to fix the ending of Season 6 finale as Roy now knows that Aisha have feelings for Nex and decided to ending his rival by annoucing to everyone at Thorne and Daphne's wedding that he's leaving the group to return to Andros. That would make a better exit for Roy's final appearence in the series. 7. Roxy play a very important role in season 7 of saving the magical animals. But in episode 3 she was the only one who haven't earn Butterflix despite helping the winx club which is very disappointed to me as she earn the right to have a brand new fairy form as well as having her bond with her own fairy animal and earn her Typnix too. I would liked to fix the entire episodes by making Roxy earn her Butterflix along with her friends the Winx and still keep the time stone. Then later in the episode after Bloom bonded with Elas, Roxy will bond with a fairy animal of her own like maybe a Dolphin or a Deer in the next episode before Roxy and her friends will have the Tynix Powers.
Season 1 is just wow for me Storylines, mysteries not being solved, drama and the best battle, army of darkness, fall of magix, bloom discovering her origin and past...
I actually don't hate seasons 5 and 6. It might have to do with the fact that I watched seasons 5 and 6 when I was 8 or 9 and I watched the first 4 seasons when I was a lot younger so I don't actually remember much about them. I also remember it being extremely frustrating and confusing to watch seasons 1-3 because of the various different dubs, especially back when I didn't understand the concept of dubs.
completely agree with your ranking, except I'd switch the top two. I know s3 is probably better overall, but s2 just has SUCH a special place in my heart, I was so obsessed with it as a kid. the character driven storytelling is *chef kiss*
9:15 Remember, the pets are magical. They most likely need some sort of special treatment which the Winx sell. That's how they make money. Pets are free, but you need to pay to care for them correctly
Damn when I thought I could escape my winx doll addiction then I see your video in my feed ! x) I'm currently watching the winx but I think I stopped at season 3 when I was younger but I was expecting much from the butterflix (and sirenix) season (season 7 I think ?) because I totally fell in love with the butterflix dolls :x Also I was shocked to see Flora/Layla being whitewashed in the new seasons.. just why I guess I'll have to find out by watching the rest of the show. Good video, I'll have to watch it again once I'm done with the winx :)
In season 4, the winx make their money thanks to the products for the pets that they sell and the services that they offer at the shop. (healing the pets, learning them how to sing/dance ect)
Here is my ranking before watching this video 1st- 3rd season (iconic) 2nd- 4th season (pretty good, roxy was a good addition but I’m mad she wasn’t apart of the group afterwards, fight me) 3rd- 1st season (good buildup on where the show goes) 4th- 2nd season (most underrated season) 5th- 5th season (not bad, at least the plot was good and the villain was the last good villain of the show, movies were good especially the movie they founded blooms parents but the only problem was I hated the 3D animation, at this point season 5 should have ended the show right here) 6th- World of Winx (s1 and s2) I included this because why not it’s a pretty good spin off 7th- 6th season (hate that this show continued because I assumed season 5 would be the ending and it’s my ending and I hated the 1st episode of season 6 after that I stopped watching ever since, also idk why they reset their age and it would have been better for them to be teachers in alfea in the end)
I don't know if I prefer the second or third season, like yeah there's enchantix and Valtor, but the arriving of Aisha and the pixies and oh my God DARKAR I loved that villain so muuuuch... Can't choose. I just, I can't.
Season 2 and 3 are my absolute favorites. Season 2 especially has a place in my heart since I'm a sucker for good guys being corrupted into being evil (that and bcuz Dark Bloom was literally my gay awakening sjksj)
I think maybe Rainbow would have gotten the hang of it after season 4 if they hadn't partnered with Nickelodeon. Like how season 1 had some stumbles but the show got better. So, I think they would have done with season 4's aspects afterwards.
You would've thought that if Nickelodeon has ruined the show than Rainbow would've at least attempted to write more serious stories with other shows they produce to make up for it, and yet they didn't, which proves that it was RAINBOW'S fault.
one thing i hate about season five is that the winx personalities changed a lot. stella was being childish and acting like a mean girl, while tecna was more shy than usual… btw her relationship with timmy was destroyed when they tried to put them in a web relationship… what doesn’t make any sense considering the fact they’re so close to each other in s4. and the date episode tho……… how they want me to believe they didn’t know how to act in a date when they were dating for four whole seasons!!!!!!! every time they appeared together in s5 i wanted to throw my phone away
9:15 I always figured they made money from selling the clothes, food, and general upkeep products for the fairy pets (plus the doctor visits when they weren't feeling so good). Ofc, the episode where the Winx go to Tir Nan Og kind of negates this, but I figured Bloom did that for the kiddios for free because she has a soft spot for the lil ones.
10:49 Not me agreeing with you it would have been so much interesting to kill off Sky as he and Bloom were getting closer and to see the main character who other Winxers loved go off the rails and turn against her friends. Maybe we could have had 5 and 6 be her healing process and the end of 6 being where she finally moved on and maybe hinted at her x Selina
I feel like Winx Club peaked at Season 3. Season 3 is one of my favorites because it was the first season of Winx Club that I watched. When I found it on Netflix, I watched Seasons 1 & 2 and only watched it for the transformations lol. But after thoroughly watching S1 and S2, S1 is my TOP favorite!
Aside from thinking that S1 and S2 would be swapped on the list, I had a feeling that the rest of list would look exactly as it did. Wasn’t the plan to have the first three seasons, the movie, and then end the franchise? I think that would’ve been perfect and wouldn’t have all of these follow up seasons that ultimately dragged down the rest of the series.
Ya honestly I'm rather conflicted between the season that had the guts to go dark or the season that gave us more character building moments for everyone to shine but I'm kinda leaning more to dark on this one a Also anyone besides me felt like the how racial issue was kinda stupid and that people really just were looking for a reason to open there mouths like always
I totally agree with this list, enchantix is busted, beatifull, original, unic and amazing. I cried a lot the first time I got to see Musa backstory with her mother. The season 1 final battle (Icy and Bloom) was epic, best fight ever in the series. AND I love the season 4 intro.
To be honest I think that killing Nabu was good choice and hear me out first, as a kid I remember watching the season and seeing Layla and Nabu grew closer together than any other couple this show (even more than Sky and Bloom) and when he died I was genuinely crushed, I liked them so much, both were amazing characters I didnt really pay attention to thier skin color I just saw LAYLA and NABU both characters I loved. I was hurt by it and I started thinking that some other couple should have been in their place, but I coudnt think of any maybe stella and Brandon (but not many people would care) or maybe flora and Helia but I thought that flora would not be able to handle that. Over all the fact that winx club killed of one of their main characters made the show into something more. Not just a kid cartoon, I was hoping that after season 4 they would continue going to this more matured content but ou boy was I wrong
All I know is, is that Season 6 is my favorite season. I had honestly forgotten about Winx Club after Season 5 until one day I was flipping through the TV and saw Flora in the middle of her Bloomix transformation. From that point on, I was hooked. I don’t even know where to begin other than the fact that the Bloomix transformation and the entire Season 6 soundtrack was pure gold. 🤩I honestly don’t care that Stella and Aisha earned their Bloomix in a kind of dumb way because Bloom, Musa, and Tecna made up for it. I personally found Season 6 to be a great continuation of Season 5 because it still continued to highlight the Winx’s individuality and their internalized struggles. People often express their sadness for how Musa is the most outspoken and neglected character, but after getting her voice stolen, she proved that you don’t need to go full fairy to save the day. Also, I don’t think Season 8 is as bad as people make it out to be. I mean seriously, how could you not love Twinkly. 🥺❤️ I think people just payed too much attention to the reanimation instead of really getting into the storyline of the season.
My honest opinion at Blooms screentime in season 5,yes she did steal screentime from Aisha, probably a lot,idk i might rewatch again, but then when you think about it,her sister was a part of the story so she needed to fight.
I remember watching seasons 6-7 and feeling bad for not really liking them since I loved the winx so much. It felt like I was failing the show instead of the other way around. Season 5 got a pass because of the ocean aesthetic and because it was my first introduction to the show as a kid so nostalgia made it tolerable.
Mythix had SO MUCH potential they could've made it where each girl's design is based on a fairytale character and they could've done something along of lines of making a contract with the fairytale character/creature to earn Mythix. They can even make Mythix a powerup like Charmix if they wanted to.
That’s such a cool idea! I really wish that they actually did that in the show
Mythix never showed in 2D, but Trix especially Icy as Snow Queen with legendrium boost powered able to come into real world, this is so inconsistent.
The worst thing about Mythix is that Musa didn't have a spell
@@mars.1081 I know Musa really doesn't get attention
@Stella I know but like with spells and transformation
Nabu shouldn't have died, but Sky's death would've put Bloom in the spotlights again. We need another specialist to die. Make Riven sacrifice himself for Musa or something. 💀
That would’ve been more impactful instead of the back and fourth arguments
Fr tho like first of all since when was bloom the main singer shouldn’t that be musa since she is the fairy of music and they better find a way to bring nabu back to life
@@kendraroth1276 Sky is disliked and you don’t see him dying anytime soon
@@Flytattedmoe Ya that made no sense. It’s like calm down Bloom let the music fairy be in the spotlight for once.
In Season 8, Riven kind of did sacrifice himself on multiple occasions just so that he could be back with her
The thing about season 5 is that it deals with the ocean you'd think the FAIRY OF WAVES would play a bigger part in this season.
Yes. That’s the reason I fell in love with Winx was because of how jam-packed with lore Season 1 is.
In s5 aisha did had a main storyline. Considering it was her family who was in danger and it was her cousin who was the main villian of the season.
I AM GENUINLY IN LOVE WITH YOUR OPINION
Season 2 is my absolute favorite. I love Aisha's/Layla's first appearance, the iconic Halloween episode, blushing Palladuim, Pixies, Charmix designs were sort of a meh but I still love them all :D!
When I rewatched the season and saw Palladium blush, I felt really happy to see some subtle representation in the show
The Blushing Palladuim! I was so expecting the real Avalon and him to share a bond that leads to a romance
Yeah season 2 is really awesome. Winx abridged makes it better though lol.
Me too
@Laura Grigoletto plssss which episode i want to whatch that so bad ! Yes season 2 is the best of both worlds so many iconic episodes , the relationships started blooming we got mirta and lucy plus layla and the pixies just iconic
About season 4, they state that they make their money by selling the additional stuff that come with the pet; food, grooming products, etc.
for me from worst to best:
7 - physically couldn’t finish it because I hated it so much. didn’t feel like winx.
(Can’t comment on 8, haven’t seen it)
Couldn't agree more with the last placement. Trying to finish season 7 felt like a chore. A very boring, sleep-inducing chore.
I agree with you more than I agree with unicorn of war , season 4 is my fav but I don't think it deserves s place higer that 4 or 5 so you are right
I don't know if I can get past the art style of 8 to watch it. Why did they have to ruin the nice art?
@@kendraroth1276 Yes, I've noticed, I think it was season 7, when I watched it the dialogue felt like I was watching a pre school cartoon while season 1 to 4 felt like they were targeted towards teens.
Omg yes enchantix was the best era
My personal ranking would be:
Season 3 (iconic)
Season 2 (helia and flora's relationship was just so iconic! The final episodes were so great ughhhh)
Season 5 (the music/songs is what does it for me, could've been better if we used this season for aisha's development)
Season 1 (It feels a bit jarring watching this season when you know about where the show goes)
Season 4 (used to be my favourite but I watched it so much that Im bored of it now)
Onwards from Season 6 doesn't exist to me.
And Harmonix should've been the season 5 transformation. Sirenix just feels redundant
But the outfits in season 6 make it all worth it in my opinion
A lot of ppl love Sirenix but true on how it was silly for two of them
Season 4 is best
@@meduzsazsa8490 but I don’t like how they changed the song of enchanting to the one in the movie in a that season , btw I hate the charmix song
@@trampoline3309 Yes I know he’s Indian Coded but it was still 2 dark-skinned people finding happiness in one another
And that’s what we ALL need to see
@@DiamondDollDark It was. I know the reason they made them out to be so happy was so it would hurt us as the viewer when Nabu eventually died, but characters of color always get the short end of the stick when they are main characters.
The creators hated black people 😒
I couldn’t agree more
9:26 "The Winx don't seem to question why they're still together. Normally at this stage people start drifting apart as they pursue their own goals. (Season 4)"
I'm glad you brought this up.
I mean the last one episode of season 4 really dive deep into what you are saying
Season One will always be my favourite season. Bloom was never my favourite character (Flora is ma girl!) but something about her self discovery journey got to me. I always cry at that scene when she goes into the lake and gets her powers back as Daphne talks about who she is and what's in her heart and how it can never be taken away from her 😂
I also like a lot of the self contained episodes and the army of decay battle is truly epic. And the Trix are the best! Especially Darcy 💗
Musa and Stormy are my favourites😭
I'm with you on Season 1 being my favorite. I'm originally a Stella bias, but Bloom's secret history was something people could also relate to. Doubting oneself until you become stronger than you were before. Although I gotta admit, Season 2 wasn't my favorite, but the plot on Lord Darkar was quite inventive and underrated. The fact that the villain let the Winx learn some spells because he's overconfident that he doesn't consider the girls learning as a threat is still something that amazes me.
@@gan5383
Yeah for sure Stella is a very close second favourite for me!
The plot of Lord Darkar was pretty cool - too bad the voice actor made him sound like such a punky twerp! 😂
Icy is the best character and season one was the only season where I felt some sympathy for Winx.
Flora💚
But yes I learned to appreciate the plot now and it was good.
everything went downhill after season 4🤢🤢
Yeees! Let's go.
I love season 4, and probably still my favourite of all. I recognise the issues, especially the infuriating racial messages and still love how dark it was willing to go and loved seeing winx growing up.
same
Same honestly in my opinion ( so take this with a grain of salt ) the whole racial conflict felt like people just looking for reasons to start shit but again take this with a grain of salt
I wanna know what U.O.W's favorite winx club intro song is? For me its the nick intro from the nick specials to season 4
Yea. I think season 4 is very underrated :(
Season 4 is so interesting
The start literally had me dying
(I might be wrong but I mean the part when flora meets the villains)
Hands down season 3 is my favorite and ik a lot of ppl don’t like it but season 5 is my second favorite season I’ve always been a fan of underwater themed anything
I loved season 5 honestly.
@@Snaathegoose Same and Sirenix was my favourite transformation
@@ataraadaya2266 i love sirenix for the song. It's a jam
Same! Season 3 will always be my favorite season but season 5 is my second favorite for the same reasons. I love the underwater theme and basically everything about the Sirenix transformation
Same here! 5 had great locations, great transformations, and a killer soundtrack!
I still love the whole “I am the infinity swan” scene, sooo meme-able. XD
a meme that costed as: a sassy pink pusycat, purple agent of chaos doubling as a friend/rival to kiko, CUTE BROMANCE (AMAROK and SQUONK), "I'm gona steal yor boyfriend" bird, and overly attached magic pony
Season 7 is my favourite season (my ranking is this;
Season 1,3,2,7,5,4(only cause of roxy not butchering aisha character and turning her evil),6 )
A simple way to fix s7 : the Winx are tutoring Roxy and her calssmates into obtaining Enchantix.
I thought roxy has belevix. Maybe not full belevix but still
@@cyberhero5559 No she doesn't. It is said by Bloom in one episode of season 4.
@@lyraenza In the wiki it says she has believix
@@cyberhero5559 Only Enchantix fairies can access to higher fairy forms. Roxy doesn't have Enchantix yet and if she was an exception the writers would have stated it. She looks like a Believix fairy for marketing purposes. I would like to got the link to this wiki please.
@@lyraenza Also rainbow confirmed years ago she has a belevix fairy
the first three seasons are my top 3 and are generally equal, but season 1 just has a special place in my heart. the trix were my favorite villains, and i was super disappointed to see what they got turned into. in season 1, they were a genuine threat. after season 3, they became team rocket without the comedic effect.
It's true. Imagine that they were just students who tried to dominate Magix and the three schools. The fact that their deeds caused the teaching staff to be warned is showing how deranged they were with their obsession for power.
@@gan5383 they started a literal war and probably caused the deaths of some people
Trix were cool in 6 season. They were only awful in 5 and 8 season.
team rocket, that comment made me laugh🤣🤣🤣
Yeah this so true plus bloom can't even do mini enchantix while other can.
My personal ranking would be:
1. Season 3
Honestly, it had everything what a good season needs. A great villain, character development and an amazing and epic transformation. In my eyes Enchantix is the best transformation in the entire series and every fairy has her own individual design. I love to see new planets like Linphea and Andros and all those new characters.
2. Season 2
I love the debut of Aisha and the pixies, the relationship between Flora and Helia, the scenes with Aisha and Stella, and it also had a good main villain with Darkar. I liked Charmix even if it was to short. Dark Bloom was badass and I loved how the Trix were portrayed.
3. Season 5
I know a lot of people don't like this season but I still like it.
4. Season 4
I liked Season 4 but I rather see the Magic Dimension then Earth.
5. Season 1
Unfortunately, Tecna and Musa didn't get the spotlight and the season was a bit boring. Daphne, however, was my favourite in this season and her scenes were so beautiful.
6. Season 6
Eh, sorry but no.
7. Season 7
This season is a complete mess. The design of the fairy animals are cool. Tynix is a pretty transformation and Winx are looking like adults. But Butterflix is a downfall and the worst transformation in the whole show. They have almost the same dresses and the dance scene is so cringe. The storyline is so boring and this season is forgettable.
8. Season 8
I only saw three or four episodes.
Not even Valtor maked this season interesting for me.
actually season 8 are there now except for a couple of episodes but i agree it's not that much better
i rank it slightly higher than this
it's way too far from perfect but i'd choose season 8 over season 6 and 7
i definitely agree with season 2, 3, 4 and 7 though (season 8 is switched with season 6 and same with season 1 and 5)
i love the way you explain why you (dis)like the seasons🥰🥰👍
Season 2 holds a dear place in my heart, but my top spot is a battle between 3 and 4, because i really like both transformations and storylines in both of those season!
same season 3 is so iconic 🤌
Season 4 will always be my favorite season the winx vs earth fairies vengeance storyline is one of the most intriguing plot lines in the show
Just to give some justice to why she's receiving the spotlight, the show focused on fairies fighting off evil. And this one trait that seems to always exist in Bloom is the combination of three things: (1) her natural abilities that made her kind of special, and (2) her bravery despite all her insecurities in being a fairy, and (3) the way she thinks and come up with some of the unique strategies in difficult situations.
Here are some of the moments Bloom should at least be appreciated instead of hated for her screentime:
(1) Decided to surrender the ring of Solaria in exchange for Stella's life. (Ref. Season 1 Episode 5 Date with Disaster.)
(2) She legit blasted Stormy with a wave of her power when she was being prevented to save musa from being car-crushed by Darcy.
(Shown in Season 1 Episode 11 The Monster and the Willow)
(6) Bravely went inside a giant monster's mouth to personally save Musa. (Also from Season 1 Episode 11)
(7) Supported Stella in her Miss Magix Contest, but in return, she forces her to study so as not to flunk her test.
(Funny how the Witches were the ones who helped Bloom when they were the first ones who attempted to steal her Dragon's Flame when she was a baby.)
thank you very much I really Bloom and I wish people would appreciate her.
Bonus: Sometimes I think Thomas really hate Bloom. LOL
They said she is annoying and bossy (LOL Are they crazy???)
If they are call themselves as a fan of Winx, please love all 6 members, not "I stan Musa Stella Flora Aisha Tecna but Bloom".Everyone is a perfect part of the team. Winx Club without any members will no longer be the winx club that we used to know.
@@nguyenmaiphuong4419 I FEEL YOU OMG.
Season 5 last good season
I love season 5
Completely agree! Season 5 is one of the best seasons in my opinion.
I Hope I Watched Winx Club Season 5 Soon i Pretty Much Love This Season! 😍❤️
Season 5 is worst for me than six. Trittanus was ok but Trix, especially Icy who in other seasons is my favorite character is annoying in season 5. Also in season 8. But in other seasons Trix are awesome.

I had a crush on Bloom when i was a kid, when she was wearing that Magic Winx outfit

s3 is just iconic the best of all the songs the transformations the characters all of them the best

Didn’t expect season 2 to overtake season 1 but all arguments considered it makes sense
season 2 is my favorite, i love all the character work put into the winx as you see them grow as both people and a group.
I actually liked season 1 more than 2 just because of the villain. I found the Trix much more compelling and fun to watch than Darkar
I agree season 1 although is a bit tacky I loved the dynamics of the trix
About the "The winx never question why they are still together" I think is because they only reunite again for the events of S4. In the first movie they split up and they only are together for the mission, then in Magical adventure they are again split up and only reunite for the mission, and then comes S4 where again they only reunite to teach and Alfea and then start their mission. So they technically start separate lives and they are used to it, but since they are the new company of light they have to be together for the missions.
Season 5 should’ve focused on Aisha
Season 4 should’ve focused on the Winx struggle they should’ve taken inspiration from W.I.T.C.H which managed to focus on all the girls, their life struggles, as well as they fight against evil.
Watching Thomas go from "Season 4 is my fave" to "it's not that hot" is kind of depressing

Personally despite season 4 being a big hit or miss for most people. I found it quire enjoyable probably my fsvorite. I was definetly the least bored throughout it.
I also love season 3 2 and 1 so dont worry.

5 is good but is sometimes boring
ikr
Hallelujah on your book. I'm still struggling with the 4th chapter of my novel.
Having watched just like two seasons when i was a child, hearing about "Infinity Swan" is something else
Happy to see that I'm not the only season 3 stan!
Unicorn or war: "You want a death that means something kill Sky."
Me: "Please do.
I have better idea. Kill Bloom instead Sky.
After S4, Winx club became Money& Milking club And S2 is my favorite
i so agree with your opinion, it went downhill after season 4🤢🤢
After the amazing job she did with the WINX rewrites, I can’t wait to read a fully fleshed out book from her!

I’m pretty sure in season 4 they sold clothes and products for the fairy pets to run their pet shop
season 6 was my favourite actually
although i acknowledge it had its pitfalls, i really loved that "fairytale" theme.
In my opinion, from best to worst:
- season 2/season 3 (I love them equally)
- season 1 (also love it)
- season 4 (still good)
- season 5 (on the borderline of good and bad)
- season 6 (bad, boring and childish)
- season 7 (worse, more boring and incredibly childish)
- season 8 (terrible in all ways, I couldn't even finish it because it's so bad)
I mean the pink design is cute with bloom at least has the variety of colors now.
Some of those mini worlds had such Nick Jr like annoying childish creatures. But at least it wasn't in the S5-6 CGI style. Honestly, some of the worlds looked beautiful. There's not much wrong with Season 7 visually.
I liked the s5 cgi but i do NOT like the mythix transformation
The whole season was played on nick jr usa x
I always thought the reason they had some income from Love&pet shop is because the pets were adopted for free, but all the services such as Flora's treatment, Musa's singing classes were paid for. But yeah, that wouldn't be enough, lol
You should do a video ranking the 10 best episodes! And maybe also a video of the 10 worst episodes! That would be really fun to see :)
@@hanadolce Again the first movie end with a clifhanger, so technically can't be count as an end
I think we can all Agree That Cosmix Song Is am Bop
This song is the only good thing about season 8.
If I remember correctly, Techna's sacrifice actually saved the entire magical universe, which includes Techna's homeworld.
I understand where your opinion comes from but Tecna saved the whole dimension, not just andros😉😉👍
Tecna is my favourite sacrifice to earn her enchantix but i respect your opinion🥰🥰
Season 4 is my favorite. But I said it before and I’ll say it again, Nabu dying was not necessary.
Love your videos! my top are
1. Season 3
2. Season 2
3. Season 1
4. Season 4
5. Season 5
6. Season 6
7. Season 8
8. Season 7
Almost on the same "page" 😂 also speaking about pages.. congrats on your book girl!! Slay
my ranking is quite alike
1: season 3
2: season 2
3: season 1
4: season 4
5: season 5
6: season 8
7: season 7
8: season 6
season 4 was quite nostalgic for me especially because they tackled some issues that other cartoons can't tackle although nabu dying was unnecessary in my opinion, I do have high hopes for season 9 since I've heard that it will be for both adults and for kids to enjoy
Called it!! I knew Season 4 would be ranked in the middle!!
My favourites are Winx Club Series are Season 5, Season 6 and Season 7 because I do love the improvement of characters designs, voices and beautiful colour scenery and the stories continue to where Winx Club Season 4 left off too thanks to Nickelodeon. Although I still wished some of the episodes improve a bit especially that some characters that never made sense or explained:
1.Politea only appear in one episode with no speaking voice however she does appear again in the third Winx Club movie with her speaking voice.
Season 1 is just wow for me
Storylines, mysteries not being solved, drama and the best battle, army of darkness, fall of magix, bloom discovering her origin and past...
I predict a video on the soundtrack later on in the future
I actually don't hate seasons 5 and 6. It might have to do with the fact that I watched seasons 5 and 6 when I was 8 or 9 and I watched the first 4 seasons when I was a lot younger so I don't actually remember much about them. I also remember it being extremely frustrating and confusing to watch seasons 1-3 because of the various different dubs, especially back when I didn't understand the concept of dubs.
completely agree with your ranking, except I'd switch the top two. I know s3 is probably better overall, but s2 just has SUCH a special place in my heart, I was so obsessed with it as a kid. the character driven storytelling is *chef kiss*
dude i absolutely love the ending music, it's so cute
9:15 Remember, the pets are magical. They most likely need some sort of special treatment which the Winx sell. That's how they make money. Pets are free, but you need to pay to care for them correctly
Damn when I thought I could escape my winx doll addiction then I see your video in my feed ! x)
I'm currently watching the winx but I think I stopped at season 3 when I was younger but I was expecting much from the butterflix (and sirenix) season (season 7 I think ?) because I totally fell in love with the butterflix dolls :x Also I was shocked to see Flora/Layla being whitewashed in the new seasons.. just why
I guess I'll have to find out by watching the rest of the show. Good video, I'll have to watch it again once I'm done with the winx :)
They should’ve killed riven in season 4. I’ll die on this hill
EXACTLY!! Plus he ended up leaving anyways and when he came back in the other seasons it was just cringe.
Noo Sky
i'd say Riven indeed, he was a jerk to like everybody, especially towards Musa
If the creator wanted to add Roxy she should have got the full believix powers overtime and get the sophix and lovix powers too.
This ranking is spot on!
In season 4, the winx make their money thanks to the products for the pets that they sell and the services that they offer at the shop. (healing the pets, learning them how to sing/dance ect)
I love the “assaults a noblewoman in the middle of a crowd and facing no consequences”
would love to see a rewrite of seasons 1-4 at some point, if it's something you'd be interested to explore of course
I’d love to see a rewrite of season 4, it’s the weakest season out of the golden seasons and a lot of stuff doesn’t make sense
Here is my ranking before watching this video
1st- 3rd season (iconic)
2nd- 4th season (pretty good, roxy was a good addition but I’m mad she wasn’t apart of the group afterwards, fight me)
3rd- 1st season (good buildup on where the show goes)
4th- 2nd season (most underrated season)
5th- 5th season (not bad, at least the plot was good and the villain was the last good villain of the show, movies were good especially the movie they founded blooms parents but the only problem was I hated the 3D animation, at this point season 5 should have ended the show right here)
6th- World of Winx (s1 and s2) I included this because why not it’s a pretty good spin off
7th- 6th season (hate that this show continued because I assumed season 5 would be the ending and it’s my ending and I hated the 1st episode of season 6 after that I stopped watching ever since, also idk why they reset their age and it would have been better for them to be teachers in alfea in the end)
OMG YOUR LIST IS LITERALLY THE SAME AS MINE 💀✋🏾
I don't know if I prefer the second or third season, like yeah there's enchantix and Valtor, but the arriving of Aisha and the pixies and oh my God DARKAR I loved that villain so muuuuch...
Can't choose. I just, I can't.
Season 2 and 3 are my absolute favorites. Season 2 especially has a place in my heart since I'm a sucker for good guys being corrupted into being evil (that and bcuz Dark Bloom was literally my gay awakening sjksj)
Season 3 Winx Club has Reached OFF THE CHARTS For Fans Everywhere!!!
I think maybe Rainbow would have gotten the hang of it after season 4 if they hadn't partnered with Nickelodeon. Like how season 1 had some stumbles but the show got better. So, I think they would have done with season 4's aspects afterwards.
You would've thought that if Nickelodeon has ruined the show than Rainbow would've at least attempted to write more serious stories with other shows they produce to make up for it, and yet they didn't, which proves that it was RAINBOW'S fault.
one thing i hate about season five is that the winx personalities changed a lot. stella was being childish and acting like a mean girl, while tecna was more shy than usual…
btw her relationship with timmy was destroyed when they tried to put them in a web relationship… what doesn’t make any sense considering the fact they’re so close to each other in s4. and the date episode tho……… how they want me to believe they didn’t know how to act in a date when they were dating for four whole seasons!!!!!!! every time they appeared together in s5 i wanted to throw my phone away
Can i tell you how much i adore your captions? Thank you so much! 💛💛💛💛
Also so excited for De Cineribus: From the Ashes
Ya honestly I'm rather conflicted between the season that had the guts to go dark or the season that gave us more character building moments for everyone to shine but I'm kinda leaning more to dark on this one a
Also anyone besides me felt like the how racial issue was kinda stupid and that people really just were looking for a reason to open there mouths like always
I totally agree with this list, enchantix is busted, beatifull, original, unic and amazing.
I cried a lot the first time I got to see Musa backstory with her mother.
The season 1 final battle (Icy and Bloom) was epic, best fight ever in the series.
AND
I love the season 4 intro.
"Kill sky, kill him right now!" that is my mood constantly watching Winx Club LMAO
I think people just payed too much attention to the reanimation instead of really getting into the storyline of the season.
