Sorry for the audio qualtiy on this one y'all. Life has been... a lot lately, and I couldn't record in my usual space. Hope y'all enjoy regardless. Imma go nap now.
Main Reasons to hate this season: 1. It's too childish. 2. Roxy got done dirty again. 3. The transformations are awful. 4. The power of Butterflix is useless. 5. The villains are pathetic and not threatening the slightest. 6. (And most importantly) THERE IS NO PLOT!
@@Idkacutename123 Yeah it didn't make any sense for them give up Bloomix over Butterflix considering that the dragon flame is supposed to be the most powerful magic in the entire universe. How can you possibly top that?
Stella has SO MUCH potential for Tynix, imagine her transformation with her doing a catwalk, as she walks. The sky above shines a thousand stars and it starts raining diamonds and stars, Stella basks in the raining radiance and she starts transforming
So Flora is the fairy of NATURE, yet she's limited JUST plants? She had so much potential, like animals and earth, yet they stick her with just flowers, gave Roxy (who rarely appears in the show) animals, completely ignored earth, AND gave the whole Winx a nature transform?! That's so dumb!
"Nature", in this case, is synonymous with "Plants, flowers, and greenery". Otherwise, why just stop at animals? Why not water too? Fire? Everything else associated with nature. In a lot of fantasy stories, "Nature powers" refers to "Plants, flowers, and greenery". I remember someone else trying to make the argument that Aisha should be able to control air because she can control water, and there are water molecules in the air. Stories make a point of separating powers. Otherwise, one person could have numerous powers, like with the nature power example I gave.
@Will N When has Stella controlled wind and gravity? Other than them performing magic during class lessons, they stick to their stated powers during battles. Flora doesn't control the seasons (what does this even mean?). Her powers have always been consistent in what they can do; 99% of the time, she controls plants/flowers, and can communicate with them.
@Will N Agree! I feel like they have so many potentials of making the girls finding their path to achieve the ultimate nature power. Such a shame Rainbow can't see this vision
Idk but Flora being able to use any element with of course some severe drawbacks would be amazing. Also imagine Aisha creating a giant tsunami, Musa manipulating puppets with her flaunt or Tecna reprogramming people?
It pisses me off so much of how weak bloom got. She went from taking out an entire army of unbeatable monsters and killing 3 powerful witches that no one else can beat in season 1, to not being able to beat out a small villain even with the help of the other winx. It’s even worse in world of winx they don’t even mention the dragon flame or her power
Yea. Atleast we have fate the winx saga now. That's the perfect adaptation. I'm excited to see bloom develop her dragon flame cause that was a major plot of fate s1
@Will N ok yea it makes sense now. Your comment was just to weird that's why i didn't understand it..like what the hell has sam got to do with all this? Anyways i get it now. Tho i dont agree with you at all. Fate is an amazing show. But everyone have their own opinions 👍🏻
@@mysticvaulttv I have to disagree seeing as they whitewashed Musa, whitewashed Flora and made the "cousin" that replaced her a target of fatshaming instead of really going for body diversity, changed Bloom's colour to red like a stereotypical fire wielding character with reds that clash her hair horribly and deleted Brandon, letting Bloom and Stella fight over Sky instead. But everyone has their own opinions, if you liked it, good for you 👍
@@tokimiterinitodori8510 the entirety of Fate is a mess with almost everyone being b*tches towards each other. I really hated Musa’s the most because she isn’t even Asian at all, she’s nothing like her 4Kids or Nick personality and she’s a “mind fairy” like seriously?! You couldn’t just make HER air instead of BeAtRiX?! Which is my other most hated part! Why can’t we have the Trix as 3 queen bees and popular mean girls instead of squishing them into 1 nonthreatening wannabe?
As much as Roxy was done dirty, she was the one that actually got a character development. She went from the new inexperienced fairy to literally leading the Alfea fairies against the Trix.
Even though Roxy did help defeat the monster. She didn’t even became a butterflix fairy. I mean she’s still a basic fairy not even an enchanting fairy but if they couldn’t give her butterflix they could’ve just upgraded her powers too. She’s just kinda just an animal translator and Zoologist ;-;
@@ninaloveray I think Roxy has been rebooted as a Winx level, considering she NEVER used any of the special wings or even fairy dust. Her powers didn’t even grow from humans believing in magic again. Not to mention her hair doesn’t change and her outfit itself was a bit too simple, only her wings had somewhat of a design instead of being more simple. But yeah Roxy of all the fairies deserved Butterflix. I’m still so mad she hasn’t even gotten her Enchantix yet
@@ninaloveray Wait, aren't you the one on Twitter who kept arguing with every winxer because you can't accept that Roxy's a Magic Winx fairy and only is used for dolls design? Embarrassing😭
I’ll never forgive Rainbow for a lot of things, but I think the second most I’ll never forgive them on (the first is killing Nabu tbh) is how Season 7 wasn’t Roxy’s season. It 100% should’ve been her time to ✨ *shine* ✨
Yeah! She was helping the Winx before they got their Butterflix powers, but she never got a new transformation of her own?! That was so stupid. #justiceforroxy
Flora was ALWAYS done dirty, she dosent really have anything too big for her home except for her sister, she gets weak anytime a leaf gets ripped from wind, but Aisha dosent get weakened at ALL during season 5? Her whole schtick gets polluted. And Floras own thing just gets stolen over and over again :(
Honestly? They should have let Bloom loose her stone. Roxy would offer to give her hers and Bloom just refusing. Saying Roxy is so much more important and useful for this mission. Cue Bloom doing research in her family library and finding a trail of stories about her friends. And her being there with her HEALING POWERS to help her friends. Hell if she was really needed one of the girl could come back in pain and hurt, but also afraid as hell because her friends are in danger and handing Bloom the stone. Like COME ONE! THE OPPORTUNITY!
Honestly the most shocking thing for me is that I can’t even tell Bloom is the main character anymore. Like if I’d never watched Winx and you sat me down in front of season 7 and told me to find the main girl out of the 6, I couldn’t tell you. Bloom is just one of the girls now. Her power isn’t even special anymore. She’s just as weak as the other Winx and her Butterflix special power is the lamest out of all of them imo. It doesn’t even relate to her fire powers. They absolutely RUINED Bloom in season 7 and it actually makes me miss season 6’s Mary Sue Bloom because at least she was plot relevant. Edit: Also when I mean I can’t tell, it’s like nothing tells me that she is special from the other girls. You can be the leader of a group without being the main character. The plot doesn’t revolve around her and she doesn’t seem to have any personal stakes. Granted that would be fine if it meant the others got to shine but… uhhh… they don’t.
thank you for saying that Bloom is the main character and not all of the girls as some people say. it's clear from season 1-3 that Bloom is the main character and was always intended to be, just because she's part of a group and the other winx have their moments to shine as well doesn't make them ALL main characters,
@@emicastudios8500 The problem is if you want to make a single character the MC out of a group(and the character gets the most screentime),you need to make sure that they're actually interesting and worth having most of the screentime on them and Bloom was never the most interesting character, even back in S1-4. Sure, her learning about her backstory as a lost princess was neat but her actual personality...not really? She had nothing that made her distinct from the rest of the Winx. There is a reason why people watch the show, they'll very rarely say Bloom is one of their favorite characters, because the rest of the Winx have more distinct and fleshed out characters and backstories that tied into each other and made you want to empathize or root for them. Bloom's generic character even transfers over in her romance with Sky as they're the couple with the least interesting interactions, development, and conflict in their relationship. IMO,they really should've have developed Blooms established hobby of drawing to give her something to make her unique
If that were true, I would LOVE it. I would love for Bloom to be just one of the girls (which, ironically, would help give her an interesting and distinct personality). But that is not the case in Season 7. She may not be as central to the plot as before, but she is still as Mary Sue-ish as it gets and still the main character. She still calls out all the transformations and almost always stands in the middle while doing so. She has the longest transformation sequence in both of the season's transformations. She leads the Winx whenever they are walking. She gets the most screentime and dialogues (there are episodes where Tecna doesn't speak at all apart from her transformation roll call). She is always the one to introduce themselves to and deal with a new character (unless, it is someone who is designed to have some sort of bond with one of the others, like Orlando). She gets the special, special fairy animal (what with Elas's cure-all magical horn that keeps evolving). She is the one who gets the most screentime with her boyfriend (this is actually a blessing in disguise since this ensures my favorite couple, Tecna and Timmy, are saved from endless, repetitive, pointless, boring, stupid drama). She is the one who calls all shots and tells the other girls what to do in a predicament (I remember a particularly egregious moment with the mutated fungi when their powers don't work and Aisha asks something like, "What do we do now, Bloom?"). So, yeah, she is still very much the main character in Season 7, and NOT in a good way. In fact, Seasons 1-3 revolve completely around her story and she is very much the main character, and yet THAT is when it gets closest to her just behaving like one of the girls. From her positioning whenever the girls are standing or walking, to other girls getting their own arcs, to screen presence, to other girls excelling in one thing or the other rather than just Bloom being the best at everything, to other girls, especially Tecna getting to lead the girls in battle, and many many other things, Bloom behaves much more like an ordinary team member in those seasons than in any of the newer seasons.
Butterflix should have been a training form. Like, training to use their environment instead of just relying on magic to solve problems. Spend some time with that form, learn some non-magic fighting moves, & then move on to a better (or previous) transformation where they use their training.
Didn't they technically do that by making the Winx use their power to call upon animals and nature to help them fight instead of throwing beams of pixie dust at their enemies? Example: Aisha's magical water hug spell.
There is an episode in S5 when Paladium took them to Alphea’s greenhouse to learn about different animals and environments and he said they couldn’t transform and their magic would be reduced so they’d be forced to not rely on magic this time. Also M2 when the Ancestresses took over the tree of magic (?) the fairies lost their powers including Bloom so on the ship to Avrum the Winx had to take specialist courses because they didn’t have their wings anymore. Or in S4 when Diana attacked Gardenia they couldn’t even get free from her vine imprisonment including Flora, and couldn’t even fry an enlarged house spider because it was infused with Diana’s jungle spell, so they had to teleport it to different area so it’d be normal again. So there’s been quite a few times they had to think outside the box or survive without magic. I mean geez Leila in S2 somehow managed to get from ShadowHaunt all the way to Alphea and when Lord Darkar attempted to kill her by throwing her over the ledge she didn’t even have any magic to fight or even transform to prevent from falling to her death
I will never EVER get over Roxy not getting Butterflix when she played a part in saving Alfea of the past just as much as the other Winx 🤦🏾♂️. That moment I knew I would hate season 7.
@@ghoulruby9871 Roxy and Daphne didn’t appear at all in S8. I mean they were using previous forms for specific missions, but on Earth they didn’t even try to use Believix, which is probably an indicator S4 isn’t canon anymore, considering the last time Nebula or any Earth fairies aside Roxy were shown was S6. I’m having a really bad feeling Roxy probably won’t reappear anymore. Already bad enough she never got her Enchantix, let alone Butterflix and Tynix. WHY RAINBOW?!
To me, season 7 made no sense to me, it was a season that no one even asked for and it was too babyfied and annoying. Like that one scene where Bloom was in her Tynix form and she was riding on her winged unicorn and she got blasted off by Icy and she was all like "Oh, no! Help! I'm falling!" I remember sitting there just thinking "girl, you got wings! Just use your wings and fly! Don't depend on your unicorn and use your damn wings!" It made me wonder what was the point of being in her Tynix form if she's treating her wings as though they're for decoration?
And we're not gonna talk about the winx gasp and not doing anything to save bloom from that ice crystal or neither try to stop icy they just watching their leader fall to her death was so bad. And how nun of the winx even tried to give the trix a good fight.
@@montylaser7379 Right, now that you've mentioned the Trix, they served zero purpose and there was no point in being in the seventh season. They just appeared at the last minute only to get banished in limbo and going through a soft reboot in season 8
@@JoseLopez-ls1ih that's what always bothered me they were only in 3 episodes then get banished... i get it the trix are very iconic but bringing them up with no purpose.. ruins the plot. Bring other's villains to get to shine thoses 3 episodes could have kalshara and brafilius been developed and a final battle boss instead of giving it to the trix , trix fairy animal forms are very dope. Yes but its random them being thrown in one episode then getting banished the next one..
@@montylaser7379 as Unicorn of War said in his season 6 roast video, the Trix come a LONG way from being actual threatening characters like how they were in season 1 and nowadays they're more like annoying mean girls who subtweet the Winx and they always have to depend on a man who would be the main villain of the season (except season 4 and season 7 don't count as they only appeared for a few episodes)
Honestly if the writers are gonna be lazy then they should've had Roxy earn her Enchantix off-screen so that she could earn butterflix. And if they wanna be even more lazy, have her incapable of transforming for some reason. Like maybe a curse, so that she still helps but they don't have to make a new design that would only show up like once or twice.
@@ClaudetteVioletta I've always thought that she should've gotten Enchantix in s4. Because if she was MW then not only would she have gotten Charmix when she accepted that she was a fairy, but also Enchantix when she saved the Earth Fairies. But there's also the argument that she's a Believix fairy, but if she is then the question of how that's possible comes up. But either way I think the problem is either they didn't due to them not planning her out that well/far, or we would've gotten a concrete answer in s5 if the show didn't get soft-rebooted.
That was what bugged me so much, and also about every side character that transformed ever. They never got new transformations over the span of 4+ years. You don't need to give them a whole episode, just throw them in with Charmix or Enchantix and have them narratively explain how they earned it
@@ahstiasummers5583 She should have gotten Enchantix. I mean I can get behind that "Believix" might just be the Earth Fairies equivalent of Magics Charmix (which the Wingchange and Lovix/Sophix beeing advanced forms like the OG "Charmix Charms" - which explains why Bloom and the others had access to it - since they where already "advanced Fairies").
Honestly, I couldn't even finish the first episode of S7 because of how kiddy the show had become. Now don't get me wrong, I'm out here watching things for 5-12 year olds sometimes. Take Precure (Japanese magical girl franchise for kids maybe 4-12) for example. It's formulaic in most of its episodes, but there's still story the 18 shows they have and counting to this day (seriously, they release a new show every year and finish it within the next year for another one) and they're all unique with different themes. Summer and tropical vibes, fairy tales, witches and wizards, nature, princesses, I could go on. It's pretty positive and happy go-lucky, but at least it doesn't make me feel like the show has been dumbed down to take kids step by step through the story like season 7 felt like. Idk what happened cuz it was obvious that things were kiddified from season 5, but at least it was bearable for someone my age. Even season 6 wasn't that bad (in terms of age demographic).
And what really sucks is the writers could've followed through with writing them as young adults living their own lives while still being friends who spend time together and go on cool adventures. The show can be a kids series without revolving around kids. Heck if they did it that way it would be more appealing to a wider audience. It would appeal to younger and newer fans and and older fans who are now in there 20s
I would have like it if Kalshara actually had a closer connection with the animals she captured, which could have made an interesting conflict. Like the animals go to protect her and the winx have to actually down grade their magic so they don't kill/brutually wound the animals
My favorite thing, of course, is that Kalshara had started her evildoings when Faragonda was 20 years old at most, and Season 6 claims her to be the headmistress of Alfea for one hundred years already, which means that Kalshara and Brafilius have officially been doing nothing, save for capturing a small bunch of the fairy animals, for more than 100 years. Considering Faragonda most certainly didn't become a headmistress right after graduating and later fought her battles as a part of The Company of Light, that'd make up an even bigger period of time. Had she started running the school, let's say, in her fifties, that'd be 130 years or so of the mutant siblings failing miserably at gathering their army. I like how this fact is never openly addressed, but it's lowkey there, always. And that's how our big villains for this season are.
But a problem is why didn’t Headmistress Mavila let the magic council know she had a student that absorbed wild magic and attempted to literally kill the digmoles with her new powers. Like why didn’t she even contact her parents either?! All it is was “Oh my champion student tried killing me, absorbed a very dangerous power and might be looking for the fairy animal diamond, but I’m not going to contact her parents or even the magix council to let them know the situation” Plus when Faragonda and Kalshara clash again, all Faragonda says is “I can’t believe it, after all these years” instead of trying to fight her and be like “You fooled me once, but I will NOT let you put anyone else in danger because of your power hungry desires. I’m not the same naive fairy I once was!”
@@kristinahuchison2511 Yeah, you're totally right, they didn't think it through at all. I may only suppose their parents were already dead by the time Kalshara obtained wild magic, but the fact that Mavilla let them run away without notifying the magic council of what had happened is scandalous. Yes, these two turned out to be pathetic villains and didn't actually cause that much harm due to their incompetence, but Mavilla couldn't have predicted that since Kalshara easily defeated her after obtaining wild magic. This is a mess.
@Will N what do you mean in S4 they hated the idea of the Winx speaking for themselves? They’re never even in S4 in either dub. In S3 they’re the ones who were contacted when Baltor broke out of Omega and a huge riot started because of the imbalance in Omega to the point all these convicts were leaking into Andros I still find it kinda dumb we never see other Enchantix fairies from Andros helping their princess (like cmon I thought almost everyone in the Magical Dimitri could use magic)
@Will N Winx Club is pretty much a slowly melting hot sticky stinky mess. It also depends on which dub is your favorite and seasons. For me it is 4Kids 1-3. I’m even making S4 is basically the plot of M2 BUT it’s about Bloom bonding with her birth parents and helping restore Sparx/Domino to its former glory, but also finding out a great secret lost to time!
The music got me emotional! Although there's one piece of music in season 4 of Winx club that is very gentle and it plays when bloom is explaining to Roxy about her inner magic. And keeps encouraging her kindly. Does anyone know what the background music for it is called?!
I miss 4Kids. I actually really liked the music actually felt more futuristic and casual. Rai imo always sounded more classical and a bit old fashioned just because they’re fairies. The Magic Dimension is literally meant to be eons ahead of Earth’s technology and stuff
I miss seasons 1-5 (yes season 5 because it’s one of my favorite themes with my favorite transformations!) and how season 2 was so unique and dynamic :(
*Season 6 Spoiler* I never understood why season 6 was hated more than 7 😭when I enjoyed the outfits, the story between bloom and selena, flora and her 'cold' boyfriend and stella's queen day . At least it had some drama. Season 7 was just all colourful and saving the animals and same repeated story happening each episode. I slept through the season 7 the first time I watched it and even the second time I got bored. And don't even get me started on season 8. Thats just not winx club anymore for me.
Right!?, Season 7 is the absolute worse, it doesn't even have any continuity except for mabye the final few episodes. Butterflix is a disgrace and overally the season is boring and feels nothing like the OG Winx we know and love
Actually I really loved the nature outfits in S7. But overall S7 is so formulaic and boring especially because Kalshara hardly ever confronted them and leaving her dirty work to Braffilius despite knowing he’s a bumbling buffoon and can’t even use magic aside the Black Diamond spell, like seriously he can’t even use magic without his stupid hat
I also really liked the fairy forms in season 6. Bloomix being based on warrior fairies and mythix on fairy godmothers with wands, they weren't perfect but they were interesting. season 7 had... butterflix
The moment they revealed Butterflix as a new transformation was the moment I hated season 7. Bloomix was supposed to be the greatest, after all it came from the Dragon Flame. And now, you're telling me it's gonna be useless?! Against nature!?! Dragon Flame CREATED nature in this world. It would be nice to just meet the Fairy Animals while keeping the Bloomix. Then instead of Tynix, the animals would transform into the bigger versions OR they could merge with the Winx's Bloomix for a new outfit. BUT BLOOMIX SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE BASE.
Fr Bloomix was like supposed to be the strongest cause of the dragon flame! It should be their base and butterflix should be their second transformation or give them tynix since it had more potential then butterflix like what even was that the whole power didn't make sense when Roxy didn't get it it literally sounds close to butterfly! She should get it to
This seasons while not the best could’ve been so much better than what is was butterflix as a whole is just underwhelming the winx being helpless was frustrating honestly the only positives I can think of are the fairy animals and the tynix song as well as some music from this season love is all around being one of my favorite winx songs
I always thought at least one way to make Kalshara at least more interesting is that she is after fairy animals because she wants to absorb their abilities and add their power to her own, and she can shapeshift parts of her body animal like for example, she could morph her arm into a dragon head which could allow her to shoot fireballs for instance, and the more power she takes, the more she increasingly becomes more like a monstrous Chimera of various fairy animals. With her end-goal of acquiring the Ultimate Power of Fairy Animals being to absorb it and become the ultimate apex predator which would allow her to force all the other Fairy Animals under her control.
Actually that is a pretty good idea! I would also add considering she feels the digmoles’ clue about the animal with the first color of the universe she thinks is useless, considering its not actually an animal, just a diamond statue of a digmole, which WHY couldn’t it be a swan instead giving a hint who the ultimate guardian animal is, though I still vote the Great Dragon considering she’s the first animal of the universe considering she freaking made it. I would’ve said considering she wants to control all the fairy animals anyway, she sends Braffilus to capture and trap any animal he finds, he still gets his stupid analyzing spell through the Black Diamond, BUT each failure becomes corrupted through Kalshara turning them into wild magic monsters that endanger other fairy animals to hinder the Winx from interfering with their plans or finding the right animal first. THEN it’d make more sense why Buttflix can’t harm nature as to not harm the creatures, and why it specializes in healing magic instead. Also the wild magic actually transforms the animals into monsters, not looks normal just with creepy glowing eyes. And maybe some of the animals are taken to the park because it drained them that they need Roxy to help rehabilitate them until they’re well enough to be rereleased into the wild again. It’s similar to Tokyo Mew Mew where the villains (who actually weren’t villains, just antagonists who were conned into serving the actual villain to save their dying world) turned endangered animals into monsters to find Mew, a special healing element. Like even the Mews themselves are actually named after different endangered animals.
I thought this is what they were going for at first with her adult design being so animalistic looking compared to her as a kid. But yeah god forbid the kids are a bit spooked (cut to every pop anime in existence being dark as fuck)
As much as I wanted her to have more relevance too, she never got her enchantix. Which makes me think, she never got it while the Winx were doing underwater and fairytale missions. They could’ve let her grow as a fairy offscreen and therefore, she should’ve gotten her butterflix.
Tecna’s Tynix wasn’t ugly, but it literally looked like the designers ran out of diamonds because they used them all on the other girls, especially Stella
@@Idkacutename123 This. And even if they want to make them able to travel somewhere else... their also Guardian Fairies so I doubt Faragonda would not allow them to go and solve a problem.
The whole thing with butterflix not being able to harm nature would've made more sense if, like you suggested, it was solely for time travel, because then it would be a measure to keep the timeline intact, how did the writers not think of that?
The worst thing about the Winx eternally being college students isn't just that they're boring Borg-like creatures now, it's the fact that by lazily binding them to college you've successfully drained any and all fun out of seeing the setting again and rewatching the show due to this fact. It's become a major pet peeve of mine in animated properties that have run for way too long - Toy Story subconsciously binds everyone to Andy's bedroom by the end of the fourth one, Spongebob is still in Bikini Bottom over two decades later, The Fairly Oddparents mined all the joy it could out of Dimmsdale before the spinoff just translated that into dull apathy, the new Rugrats revival makes me visibly cringe seeing the Pickles residence, and the less the successive revivals to the original Powerpuff Girls do to Townsville the happier I'll be to see it again. Same with the whole Phineas and Ferb universe. When you continually bind characters to a certain age and keep things the same forever, it gets old and stale. Hell, I haven't even seen Star Wars and I'm sick of it recycling planets.
I don’t count Toy Story 4 was canon. Bo Peep for one isn’t even mentioned at all in 3 except that she was given away. I also don’t really go for the only scene Andy was in was the night she left, we don’t get to see Andy grown up or on summer break and we get a hint to show its him, like say his mom found more toys to give to Sunnyside or something.
I think my main problem with this entire franchise is that it has SO MUCH potential !!! But it's infantalised (is this word even real) to a point where even children don't like it. Kids aren't idiots, they can watch consistent stories with depth and stakes. What I'm saying is that if Stella is the fairy of the sun then she could have radioactive powers and I'd like to see that
@Will N Oh yeah ! That's one of the very few good points in Fate, she can manipulate light to create illusions and become invisible ! Seriously we could do this with every Winx, Musa's geolocation is barely used in the series, the huge variety of plants in the world could be used to change a lil bit Flora's powers from the eternal "vines that tie down and pollen that makes you fall asleep", etc...
@Will N You know what, I had FORGOT about the healing powers ! It's the flame of life !! She revived Sky !! She can summon a dragon made out of fire !!! Why don't we see this anymore, come on. Also Aisha's morphix vanished, she used to build cool stuff with it, but poof, disappeared ! She doesn't dance anymore either !
I agree! S7 actually had the potential to respark interest from older audiences if Roxy was actually a main character this time, considering how disappointing Bloomix was. Honestly even Kalshara had a ton of potential as a new villain considering she has a connection with Faragonda and I actually would’ve KILLED to see dark Enchantix or something, showing not all fairies are good. The park itself could’ve been about rehabilitating endangered species and raising awareness and even sending all the animals corrupted by wild magic from Kalshara to heal until they’re able to be rereleased back into the wild. Roxy should’ve at least gotten her freaking Enchantix this season, come on! I’m literally sick of the Winx being the only fairies allowed to get new wings. What about, Mirta, Galatea, Roxy, Alice or Clareese?! So many side characters we meet, even if we don’t see them earning Charmix or Enchantix just getting to see a brand new form indicating Alphea fairies are actually evolving into new forms instead of permanently trapped in Winx. Even in S5-8, whenever there’s a threat, instead of transforming to defend their school, all the students run around like headless chickens like they all of a sudden can’t use magic anymore?! WHAT?! Also having Liza Ortiz who is 4Kids Icy and Suzy Meyers as 4Kids Stormy actually would’ve totally made bringing back the Trix so worth it, despite trapping them in the Legendarium was the PERFECT way to FINALLY get rid of them without killing them
Hell, the poacher plot could have been interesting if they were like poachers in the real world where they hunted and trafficked Fairy Animals illegally selling them to corrupt nobles, businesses and criminals where they would either be killed to be eaten, or have their powers drained by people like Valtor and the Trix to gain their power, be kept as exotic pets, forced to perform in zoos and circuses, or even skinned to use their furs for fashion. This would maybe even tie in a plot with Stella, a fashion designer who would be torn against her career and her own morals as a literal guardian fairy. Perhaps Stella has been using furs in her designs which could put her in conflict with Roxy who is a fairy of animals. Maybe Stella and Roxy’s disagreement would even be enough for Stella to temporarily leave the group and allow for character development while Roxy could have a central role? This is at least better than “ultimate power” maybe we even see the Winx try to set up animal sanctuaries, and work to rehabilitate them, this could give Flora, Roxy, and maybe Aisha the opportunity to connect.
The new villains were so bad and cringy to watch that I actually welcomed the return of the Trix near the end. And I am still so pissed that they did Roxy so dirty in this season. Seriously, she practically did the same thing as Winx and was even bathed in the light of Butterflix, but she didn't get her own transformation?! My mind went into a rage when I first saw "Barfilius" stole her Time stone. And there's a simple way to make Butterflix transformation more likable. Remember when Musa does her dance moves as she transformed into her Believix? You wanna make the Winx dance, fine, but let's have them transform while they're moving their bodies gracefully!
23:24 I always thought she was singing “the power flows from Demeter to me,” but I also never sat through this season and just assumed Demeter was in it because it’s nature themed
season 7 is so frustrating because they made the girls SO weak. bloom has the power of the fricking dragon flame, and yet when all her friends ALSO had that power, all of them combined couldn't take down a fricking bird. i feel like they're just doing that to make the plot stretch on for so much longer then it needs to be and take the easy way out.
season 7 was the first that i actually wasn’t even able to finish. i got so incredibly bored around halfway through that i just ditched it entirely. i truly don’t understand the need to lower the target audience so much. seasons 1-4 were my SHIT as a kid, and they still hold up just fine rewatching as a young adult. and boy, each subsequent season makes me miss the frame-by-frame animation even more. the characters’ movements feel so slow and clunky in s7. it just ain’t the same…
I'm determined to watch all new Winx seasons because I want to see them drag my childhood jam into the dirt with my own eyes or I won't believe it's happening. S7 still took me literal years to get through because I'd get too bored, go rewatch the old seasons to clean my palette and then have to start all over again months later because I'd completely forgotten what underwhelming event happent last.
@@TomboyGamerGal at least good for the younger kids then if that's all it is unfortunately. Personally not to childish to me, atleast to keep on going just because
I really enjoy when you go through an entire season and talk about its flaws and strengths. Especially because you gave season two what it deserves. (tbh it’s on the level of season three at least) Do you think you could do season one next? I think it will be interesting to look back and see where the show started, plus it’s just a great season.
No. Just the shot where the Winx fairies fly towards the Trix in the last episode of Season 7 is ridiculous. If you're really flying as fast as the speed lines suggest, you'd have already reached the Trix, passed them by and hit the cave's walls to die. And the time of reaction each time someone cast a spell... Seriously?
Because Winx Club is literally the ONLY thing keeping Rainbow Studios alive. I’m literally waiting for Winx Club to die considering it’s obvious Straffi isn’t going to stop until his cashcow is bone dry and not even the bones are there.
Tbh if the writers had a brain, they could have used the Winx graduating to their advantage. Make the first episode portraying the six of them living independently for a while. Tragedy strikes one of their realms. One of them is missing in action and the others move in to find her. I know they can’t do that multiple times but it’s an idea. Something which was so easy to conceive had the writers just thought for a minute
I think it was just to retcon their ages, but Rainbow didn’t have to do that at all… The Winx already had a perfectly new and good reason to stay at Alfea because THEY TAUGHT THERE!! After season 3, they became teachers, but ig the writers just completely forgot about this new plotline that could’ve been really cool and fresh and opted to age down the Winx…
Glad to know that you have realized that season 7 is truly the WORST season of Winx Club. If my heart weren't so evil, I might actually feel sorry for the actors I fan-cast for my recasting of season 7 video (When I get around to it) lol. And no actor would be able to save those two lame excuses for villains, who have nothing going for them besides their designs, specifically Kalshara. I will ALWAYS be bitter that they have Lisa Ortiz and they didn't have her reprise her role as Icy. Hell, in a livestream on her Instagram, when asked if she would ever reprise her role as Icy if she was offered the role, she said she absolutely would. That just adds insult to injury. The infinity swan's only good quality is his design but that's not enough. He should be named Deus Ex Swanina. Mythix will ALWAYS be the WORST and most hideous of all the transformations, but Butterflix is definitely one of the worst. So many problems with this season.
When you mentioned Liza and her livestream my heart dropped😭😭 I would’ve LOVED to see her as Icy again! Icys voice actor for season 7 was actually the worst. also butterflix was so childish and gross and plus all the season 7 voice actors ruined it for me
@@laurenorourke2442 The actors in the dub are good except for The Trix, Miele, Daphne, and The Specialists. Hell, Icy's voice actress in season 7 is the same voice actress who voices Daphne in the 4Kids dub. Why not have her reprise her role? As well as Suzy Meyers reprise her role as Stormy. But most of all WE COULD'VE HAD LISA ORTIZ AS ICY!
Same with Suzy Meyers, Stormy’s 4Kids VA. Oh man was I ever so mad Liza didn’t get to redo Icy, it would’ve actually made the Trix returning AGAIN completely worth it and make Icy and Stormy at least sound threatening again. I’m not kidding their Nick voices, especially Icy’s drove me nuts because she sounded like an airhead half the time, while Liza always mad Icy sound pretty scary at times, especially in S1E26, Liza Ortiz and Lisa Jaqueline (Bloom) did an AMAZING job for Icy vs Bloom for the battle of the Dragon Flame
It makes me wonder if Lisa was actually kinda mad or disappointed they didn’t ask her if she’d like to do Icy again. Personally it because of her performance as Icy is why she’s one of my favorites. And Musa too!
Imagine if Bloom lost her gem. That would be interesting , but then she'd get the stone from Roxie or ' somehow ' find / get another. And timetravell , aren't the winx messing with the timeline?
what makes me mad is that Roxy is literally the fairy of animals and knows everything about those magic animals or fairy animals but they decided to throw her away, i was so happy to see Roxy again but the thing is, she is the fairy of animals and she didn’t even get butterflix, lost her stone. she did a lot too so she should’ve gotten butterflix too. when she didn’t get it i got so upset 😐 and they made bloom so weak, she was literally supposed to be the strongest fairy, but she is just useless now, she holds the dragon flame but now it’s like she’s the weakest and that just bothers me so much, she was my favorite cuz of how pretty and strong she is/was but now it’s just not the same, she isn’t the same anymore. i miss the old bloom so much 😭, idek what the plot of season 7 is. it’s just so boring and all the other seasons were better, don’t get me started on how useless butterflix is, they’re all so weak now. it’s outraging.
I agree. The writers got our hopes up that Roxy would FINALLY be allowed to join them and at least get Enchantix or something, but no, let’s have her get outfoxed by one of the most annoying villains ever who’s a clumsy buffoon. I don’t even get why Faragonda couldn’t make another stone of memories for her, its not like there was only 7. And having Bloom’s special Butterflix spell be “Asking for help from other fairy animals” was flat out cheating considering Roxy doesn’t need Butterflix to ask animals for assistance! Really Rainbow?
Honestly, the idea of Butterflix only being used for time travel would be pretty neat. And that could work the whole “not being able to harm nature aspect”, because if you could just go back in time and destroy stuff the butterfly effect would have a field day.
1:04 This right here. "back in time" is something I think Winx Club really failed at. Time travel is a plot device not many can truly master. It's like the Winx can suddenly take animals from these points in time and nothing in the present changes. You're better off just having them all in the present time.
Finally you realised how terrible season 7 is! Tynix had so much potential! For example every girl could be based on a gem. Like Tecna gets amethyst, Bloom gets a Ruby you get what I mean. Butterflix also had a lot of potential because each girl could've been based on a butterfly type, because the butterflix outfits we got are just horrendous!
I don't like season 7 either or Butterflix or Nex but I do love Tynix, the transformation is so pretty and cool. I love the animals they look so cool, cute and magical.
Never liked season 7 anyway, and my biggest complaint about it is Roxy. Yes I LOVED THAT THEY BROUGHT HER BACK! Yay!!! But what they did to her-not getting Butterflix, and basically being there for NO reason WHAT SO EVER… (screaming) not happy! Now for a message to the creators of this season: 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Well, at least Butterflix and Tynix forms are very good. But for me, I never understood this season, and the fact that Roxy's potential ended up being wasted in this season is unfair #JusticeforRoxy. For me, this could have been resolved if the writers knew what to do with the characters properly, instead of making them useless through the whole season, and lastly the Infinity Swan, the design is good, but I don't the a proper about liking this character, why? Because it doesn't have a backstory, or even mentioned in the previous seasons. So yeah, I agree with everything you said, Thomas.
Things to make this season better: 1. Add a FREAKING PLOT! 2. DON'T DO ROXY DIRTY! 3. Keep Bloomix! It's more useful than BuTtErFlIx or whatever it is- Edit: THEY DANCE. WHAT THE HECK AM I WATCHING. JUST TRANSFORM AND BE DONE WITH IT. 4. Give Roxy a different transformation. PLEASE.
They could have made kalshara’s goal be to capture the power of the infinity swan to rule over all magical beasts kinda like a discount dragon flame. It would make her interesting and give a reason as to why the infinity swan exists. The similarity to season 1 may be on the nose but the trix comes back in the finale and they could be like “although we could not get the dragon flame at least we can control a creature with almost equal power”
FINALLY!!! TuT A bit of justice to Season 6! Yeah, the plots' episodes were treated in some boring way, but at least, Season 6 had a plot that evolve with episodes. Season 7 is just a big McGuffin chase to "which animal have it?" until each Winx have a Fairy Animal and... just filling the episodes with whatever until someone uses her brain to finally find the end of this booooring quest. The fashion designs were better than Season 6's ones (but , appart for Bloomix, all Season 6's designs were terribles!) The Fairy Animals are cool or just okay. Good music. And yeah, Kalshara and Brafilius are just buffoons. Actually I'm calling them Kalshara Devil and Buffoonius. The worst part is that I never watched "Mia & Me" Season 2 but I know the main villains are a duo that includes a tall angry witch and a fat buffoon guy that ACTUALLY captured unicorns to lock them in their circus and I'm sure they are way more better!
Season 8 in terms of appearances is definitely the worst in the franchise, though in terms of storylines, it's definitely a step up compared to season 7
@@candybunny2462 i agree with you I didn’t really look at the episode but I saw some moment that actually were really nice like the winx going back to their old transformation and Valtor coming back (my baby) but it was so childish at the same time
If you ignore the continuity being completely thrown away, I actually was kinda intrigued with Icy being a long lost princess who became so desperate to save Sapphire and Diamond she ended up resorting to becoming a witch over a fairy instead, maybe unaware of Enchantix fairy dust?? She was actually one of my favorite characters when I was younger.
At least the Butterflix and Tynix songs are better than the Mythix and Bloomix songs Butterflix is so positive and happy and while it is really cheesy, I like these types of songs. Tynix has great vocals and I also like the message. Bloomix is borderline boring and the prototype is much better. Mythix is better, but kind of forgettable; again the prototype is better.
Actually Bloomix wasn’t that terrible, I found it pretty catchy despite its literally just singing Bloom’s praises about how amazing she is and blah, blah, blah. Butterflix is just no, but Tynix definitely shone like a diamond
Or with butterflies, there's many different types of butterflies beyond monarchs or viceroys (aka monarch lookalikes). Inspire the looks based on different types of butterflies/moths. Or imagine a dragonfly-based appearance or bird-like appearances. This could've been a case where the "Butterfly" part of the name is purely for the name
For me, the most dissapointing thing about winx (the more recent seasons) is that the original personalities of the winx are just lost. Like back in season 1-2 and maybe even 3, they had so much more variety and had actual personalities. Heck, even Flora had an attitude back then. I mean this in a good way because that just made the girls in winx so much more relatable and funny. The only girl who somewhat kept consistent in terms of behavior is Stella, but even then she is still a far cry from what she once was.
I agreed with almost everything you said, and I'll never forgive Rainbow for making the Winx so useless in the fights to the point the one that hit the final blow to defeat the Trix was the fairy animals
The riters of Season 6 and 7 HAD to have been trying to recover from a brain injury or stroke. That's the only way Season 7 can be explained. The only audience that can take this season seriously is kindergarteners and elementary school kids
Yeah. I just can’t get over how tone downed the jokes are, uniform even their casual clothes are considering Stella refuses to let anyone go shopping and force them to wear whatever she designs, how incredibly boring and sleepworthy Buttflix is, the Winx hardly have any personality at all, including my queen Musa going from a goofy tomboy who loved to rock out to all of a sudden loves listening to music over singing let alone WRITING her music (not to mention I slightly hated Critty at first because she was a complete brat to everyone except Musa)
23:30 I seriously thought she was saying “power flows from the meter to me” and i never understood it. I CANT BELIEVE she pronounced nature like that. smh
imagine if they had of done a kinda 'last unicorn' with the fairie animals? (The real faerie animals the girls get are the first creatures they tried to corrupt only find out the magic the animals have really heck it up and make them uncontrollable ) You have these duo that are going to earth, corrupting earth animals and showing them off to the magical world to make money or to cause chaos since they magic world doesn't know how to handle them. These animals could also be resistant to anything BUT earth magic, making Roxie far more important but also making bloom's gift of the dragon flame to the others a core thing since she is TECHNICALLY an earth fairy, have each of the girls have to work with Roxie to combine powers to actually effect the animals and bring them back to normal. Hell you can even have some really awesome moments of Flora and Roxie being absolute badasses since, this entire plot is basically their bread and butter(flix) (IDK, maybe they pull a charmix? The infinity swan could gift them a power that mixes with bloomix, giving them little fire flowers on their outfit that let them have the butterflix powers. OH OH OH, the flowers could pull a miraculous ladybug and attract creatures called the butterFIX, little butterflies that use their magic to fix timelines XD)
S7, oh man. I’m glad you agree 6 isn’t the worst. While yes it was a complete mess in a ton of areas, I still feel it had a whimsical charm that was missing from 4 and 5, especially with the pixies coming back, and despite being practically a cheerleader Eldora was kinda funny too. S7 is one word completely-boring. Buttflix is a snoozer especially with that annoying dance, like hello fairy animals are in danger and why the h*ll aren’t the villains attacking you during your stupid dance routine?! I found some of the fairy animal designs kinda mashed as well, like a lion/ram or a fish/elephant so it looked kinda dumb at times. Like hello where’s all the REAL fire breathing and FLYING dragons instead of those Komodo dragon inspired “dragons” on Pyros when we saw flying ones in S3?!?! I seriously hated when they saw young Faragonda, all the writers did was make her skintone darker, colored her hair a poop brown color and stick a braid on it, the 3 horns/bumps in her original form are still there!! What happens to the flashback episode where it showed her with pink hair and buns on the side?! The worst part is both times she doesn’t even transform so we didn’t even get to see her Magic Winx form!! Seriously? It could’ve been the first time she hadn’t gotten her wings yet because she recently transferred from Cloud Tower and was struggling to fit in, but the next time she has really grown as a fairy. Buttflix, a bunch of rocks gives it for saving a bunch of moles and Roxy the FAIRY OF ANIMALS doesn’t even get it?! What?! They don’t even bother to explain the form, say it doesn’t exist anymore because fairy animals don’t live at Alphea or are even part of any class course. I also just can’t get over how they went from fierce warrior fairies to fairy princess ballerinas who’s magic “can’t harm nature” really? 🙄 so if they faced the Windigo Willow from S1 they’re f*cked because their magic can’t hurt it especially when it tried eating them? Tynix, S7 saving grace. If it weren’t for this, I wouldn’t ever rewatch S7. While it is a bit too flashy even for the Winx, its still so pretty to look at, aside Tecna’s looks like the writers ran out of diamonds, Musa is so freaking gorgeous and Critty is my favorite because her Tynix form reminds me of Kirara from Inuyasha. I’m actually making Tynix is an evolution of their fairy dust instead, considering it does the same thing just even tinier. I actually enjoyed the worlds, especially the part Musa freaking saved fairy magic with her music, yeah she’s one of the strongest fairies fight me. The fairy diamond world was actually kinda annoying considering all they did was make the critters chibi digmoles and they “eat” diamonds? Not to mention the fairy animal diamond itself tried crushing Flora! Kalshara and Braffilius, aka overconfident arrogant lazy fairy and a bumbling buffoon of a wizard who’d easily get their asses kicked by S1-3 Winx in a second. He literally nearly every d*mn time forgets the ONLY spell he can use, yet somehow outfoxes the Winx everytime 🤦🏻♀️ Plus upon the diamond hiding itself in him, can’t even use its powers?! I actually really hated seeing the Trix return when the Legendarium ending was the PERFECT way to FINALLY get rid of them without killing them. Like I thought it turned them into fictional characters and “you stay too long you can’t ever leave” Ugh! I will give credit Occula and Kimi were actually awesome, but oh man was I ever mad Icy’s wasn’t a polar bear, instead a stupid gecko painted blue. I actually really killed for their wild witch forms too, despite I seriously wished the Winx got to use Tynix this one time outside the mini worlds, or better yet use Enchantix with designs from their animals. The ultimate guardian being a goose? Oh come on! Why don’t, I don’t know, the Great Dragon that created the f*cking universe?! When I saw the silhouette the first time I really thought it’d be the Great Dragon, considering she’s the first animal of the universe, but no. I don’t even get why Braffilius was punished to remain a dog instead of just sending him to Light Rock considering he made it clear he wants to change, while Kalshara apparently got defeated by a bunch of lvl 1 basic monsters and can’t even fly or anything, just conveniently falls into an abyss? The biggest crime is Roxy not only not getting Buttflix, but her stone of memories was conveniently stolen to keep from joining the Winx for the season!! Why the h*ll didn’t Faragonda just make a new one, its not like she couldn’t! I did like how epic the supposed ending for the Trix being sealed outside of time in Limbo so this time they’d FINALLY be trapped with absolutely no way back, just for Baltor to somehow know where they were (I thought only a royal or something could summon from Limbo?) but the actual struggle of the Trix trying to fight the portal, especially Icy giving Bloom a death stare was pretty epic. But the biggest crime of it all, the VAs. Erica Schroder (Daphne) Rebecca Soler (S3 Tecna) and our queen Liza Ortiz, the REAL ICY AND MUSA, none of them got to reprise their old roles, and no Liza getting stuck as Critty and Cherie who are connected to Musa doesn’t count. WHY THE HECK WASNT SHE ICY?! Come on!! She actually made Icy sound like a power crazed psycho b*tch and perfect mean girl, not to mention I actually liked 4Kids changed the Trix to being senior witches which explained why they were so powerful against the Winx for a majority of S1. This actually would’ve made the Trix’s stupid return worth it, also Stormy’s 4Kids VA came back and she actually made her sound cranky and someone who’d barbecue you if you p*ssed her off. But no, she got doing Roxy instead. S7 had the potential to be waay better than how disappointing S6, especially Bloomix was, but it was literally a complete sh*tshow. Also sidenote I completely disagree with your opinions about Musa and Bloom. 4Kids Bloom wasn’t a brat at all, she was more slightly hotheaded than anything, but wasn’t bossy or pushy like S7 and especially 8. If you’re referring to Rai S1-2 Musa I strongly disagree, if anything she sounded stuck up half the time and bratty whenever I assume she was joking, NGL Rai Musa is actually my second least favorite character, first obviously being Riven. 4Kids Musa is where its at!
I would say Icy's fairy(witch?) animal should've been a snow leopard. The only reason it's a lizard is because hur dur, reptiles are cold blooded, and Icy is cold hearted with the power of ice. It's something a five year old would think of first thing. Darcy's and Stormy's animals at least match up thematically with their powers. A chameleon can camouflage itself and an owl can whip up gales with its wings. Also, totally agree with you that Lisa Ortiz should have voiced Icy. I didn't mind Musa's VA, but Icy just sounds like an absolute power hungry evil super bitch when voiced by Lisa. She just had that energy.
@@Xanegoh yeah a snow leopard could work too. I still vote polar bear considering they’re also really strong, I believe waay more than a grizzly. Darcy’s being a chameleon and Stormy’s as an owl make sense. I guess didn’t like how Icy’s is a reptile like Darcy’s.
@@kristinahuchison2511 definitely agree on the whole reptile thing and Darcy already having one. Plus, with Stormy having a bird, that would round out the animal kingdom more. Also sorry for replying so late. RUclips can be weird with its notifications.
I can tell you why Winx Season 7 suck because the writers didn't treat Roxy with any respect or give her the same treatment like the Winx since she is playing a majour role of saving the magical animals. Plus Roxy didn't get her own Butterflix power despite helping the Winx and now her memory stone got stolen by Brafilius as she won't be able to time travel with the Winx. I really wished the writer try to give Roxy the treatment she deserved as well as give her a Butterflix form of her own. If I was the writer for Winx Club Season 7 then I would write a better story back in episode 3 to make sure that Roxy earn her Butterflix along with the Winx, as well as having her bond with her own fairy animal and earn her Typnix too.
S7 sucked for a lot of reasons, and Roxy is at the bottom of the list. Even if she had been brought to the forefront, it wouldn't have changed the fact that S7 is the worst season to come out of Winx Club.
I'm currently trying to push myself to watch Season 7...and sadly, I just can't get into it as I tried with Season 5 & 6. Season 5 was still compelling (except for the soft reboot) and Season 6 was somewhat decent even when I snorted at its flaws and all. But Season 7 is just utterly boring that I stopped at episode 8 and just have no motivation to even continue it. Also JUSTICE FOR ROXY! MY GIRL GOT DONE SO DIRTY WHEN THEY GOT BUTTERFLIX! EDIT: It's been 5 months now and I JUST finished Season 7. It's really that boring and uncompelling to watch in one sitting :)
I am soooo ready to hear you rank the winx girls and their personalities, especially knowing how much you appreciate Musa and Aisha (Layla). I need to hear the rests too.
Honestly, there is legitimately a ton that could've been done with the Time Travel plot. See or cause the beginnings of notable villains or characters. Accidently create an alternate timeline for an episode or arc. Introduce a fun timeloop paradox scenario.
Bro I'm endlessly thankful you had the patience to watch both S6 and S7 cuz... I couldn't even finish S6 because of how dull it is, and I think I was 12 or sth back then lol Rainbow does definitely need help 👀 Love ur videos btw ✨ The outro song gives so much nostalgia :,-)💕
Season 7 was the first season I couldn't finish. It just wasn't worth it anymore. At least it gave us Tynix. That song is maybe the best transformation song and I will die on that hill.
I remember losing my mind when I heard Lisa Ortiz's voice because I knew then and there that there was absolutely no reason why some of the 4Kidz actors couldn't reprise their roles - ESPECIALLY THE TRIX
It's a small detail, but I REALLY wish that you had put the, "I would use my Butterflix power to ask for help from other animals... but I cAn'T sEe AnY!" when you were talking about Butterflix.
THANK YOU. Finally. When I first watched it I was so bored that I passed the episodes to see the conclusion, then passed a bunch of episodes and didn't even finish it. Later I actually watched it and it entirely and meh. But I actually liked the design of Tynix and the song or even the concept of mini worlds. It's just a shame it wasn't really effective and just like Harmonix and Mythix, pointless. Also I couldn't stand Braffilius' voice. I swear I wanted to just skip it every time he talked or just waited patiently for it to end. At least I watched season 6 entirely. That's why I always considered season 7 to be the worst.
I actually don’t mind her getting a unicorn considering its mentioned in S4 it was her favorite animal as a girl. I’m still surprised Elas’ Tynix form wasn’t a unicorn/pegasus hybrid. I was really hoping the Great Dragon was the fairy animal diamond guardian considering she’s literally the first animal of the Magical Universe, but no, lets make a glorified Donald Duck be the guardian instead
Thomas, a Season 7 rewrite coming from you would be SO cool. Just look at all those interesting ideas you mentioned. The butterfly effect is perfect to begin with. Imagine if the Winx time-traveled to encounter the Ancestral Witches (corporeal back then) and their minion Valtor yet as minions of Lord Darkar, and the Black Circle on Earth. Literally all the villains in their prime when both the Dragon and the Leviathan (yes, I loved what you did in S5) were still out there, together. If you triggered all these ideas in me, I can only imagine what you can do with them. I hope to always continue learning from you!
Or Musa. But yes, I can’t believe they got freaking Liza Ortiz back among a few former 4Kids voices and she didn’t get to reprise Icy?! It would’ve made the Trix’s obnoxious return totally worth it! Like come on, they get stuck in a book that’s supposed to be a permanent trap for them, literally making them FICTIONAL to everyone in the real world. And apparently that rule was a complete lie by Eldora, because it doesn’t work for ANYONE aside the creatures in the book and oh course Acheron. Might as well bring Acheron back in S9 🙄
@@kristinahuchison2511 Yeah and honestly, I prefer Lisa Ortiz as both Musa and Icy over their other voice actresses (not saying they're bad). Season 6 honestly could've been better but there were so many problems (Bloomix should be the most powerful form but it honestly feels weaker than the other forms, even their base Fairy Forms).
@@JayRedGear yep! I mean I don’t hate the voice Icy has in S7, her Nick actress was by far the worst imo. Actually I kinda prefer S6 just a tiny bit over S7, mainly because the pixies came back. S7 was honestly was so boring I almost stopped watching until Tynix came. Legit 6 and 7 had a lot of potential for stories, but no. We had to get stuck with crappy villains and lazy transformations. Yep! Bloomix is probably my third favorite transformation but mostly because of the designs. It infuriates me so much Musa and Tecna only got one spell, generic energy blasts. Like come on, they should’ve had freaking dragon spells like the Trix did in S1. Or they have inner dragons that can give them hints to defeat a more difficult enemy, considering dragons are also notorious for being clever.
@@kristinahuchison2511 Yo, I forgot all about the Dragon the Trix used in season 1 and that would've been amazing to see (and each girl could have their own unique dragon). And yeah, S7 is probably the worst season. It's biggest crime was wasting Roxy (the Fairy of Animals doesn't get to do anything truly important or earn the new form in a season all about animals).
@@JayRedGear OMG yes! Roxy is so underrated imo! Why the hell Rainbow went through all that trouble to include Roxy and even have her be the head of the park, and she even tells the Winx how do defeat the rock monster to save the digmoles, and she STILL doesn’t get Buttflix?! What?! The worst part was giving Bloom Roxy’s ability of being able to talk with creatures. Uh, hello?! Roxy can already talk and ask animals for help! Not everything is about you Bloom! I really do wonder what fairy animal Roxy would’ve gotten, maybe a wolf or tiger because her best friend is a dog? I could easily see Roxy having a magical tiger considering they’re really good hunters.
I'm glad to see that people agree with my opinion that season 7 was literal garbage. Idk I always felt like the series should have circled back to the ancestral witches, I know they were destroyed in the movies but I mean sky also proposed to bloom twice and the canon from those movies are kind of loose. I loved the domino lore and feel like we should have had a season dealing with the witches, the dragon flame and ,since they brought him back anyways, valtor too. Since in season 6 they all got bits of the dragon flame I feel like it'd be epic if they had a dramatic season that kinda harkened back to the original lore: company of light, ring of solaria, domino and erakylon and heck we can even bring back nabu cuz he technically never died. I feel like winx forgot about some of the cooler lore stuff and just passively acknowledges it exist when it could have had an amazing end that would acknowledge things from previous seasons. I loved season 4 but I won't say I wasn't disappointed after the perfect antagonist ,valtor for the most part, we got stories less and less connected to the original stuff. I kinda wish they and found a way to tie season 4 with other universe stuff so season 5 and 6 could be cool endgame. Season 1-3 of winx were dark ;I'm not saying I wish the rest were depressing...It's just winx could have struck the balance between edgier themes and light hearted fun like in season 1-3 and It's kinda disappointing that it joined the cartoons that worsened in later seasons.
and this is how i, a kpop and winx fan, realizes that the butterflix dance is lifted from Sunshine by Rainbow, lol. At least Steven Universe was crediting Sunmi for inspiration, lol
may i add that roxy was also suppose to get butterflix in the winx club game on the official nickeolden website during the time there was an butterflix transformation for roxy pn the computer game and there also an video that says welcome back roxy seasonn 7 ugh i hate rainbow
Everything you said about the way they are written is actually true like bleghhh they were awesome in S1-4 but after that…sighs. Hopefully S9 is going to be amazing!
I didn’t even watch all season 7 - each time I rewatch the series I only ever watch the first 4. Season 5 onwards was a shamble expect maybe for season 5 itself. I swear Nickelodeon really ruined this amazing show and not since has anything come close to the original 4 seasons and at this point I don’t think anything can nor will.
@@roiitzkovich4545 didn’t actually know that so thanks but lowering the age demographic isn’t my pet peeve - a lot of lore and concepts set in the earlier seasons just get thrown out of the window and as veteran fan it just triggers me
@@SpecsTube But Nickelodeon aren't to blame for that. I mean, look at Rainbow's other shows recently like Regal Academy and 44 Cats. Both are super childish shows and Nickelodeon had no involvement with their creation. They only aired them. Nickelodeon on the other hand made The Legend of Korra with brutal on-screen deaths and TMNT where Shredder stabbed Splinter to death uncensored. I hate the more kiddified Winx era as much as the next guy, but blame Rainbow and Straffi for that.
@@roiitzkovich4545 Pretty sure he did that just to milk money from this series as much as possible just to sell merchandise for the younger audience. Tbh, the series should've ended after Season 3 and the very first movie.
Really, we have a transformation to come back into the past and they're no dilemma for Musa to be tempted to save her mother from death ? Or to just see her performing a last time before returning to her era with this precious memory. Come on ! (Yeah yeah Musa's my favorite)
OMG that actually would’ve been pretty intense to see Musa tempted to try and save her mom, but she knows she can’t because of altering the past. I’m still so mad we haven’t gotten a music transformation which dug into more about Wanin as a fairy (in 4Kids she actually attended Alphea)
If Roxy wasn‘t robbed so hard and kalshara just grabbed the dumb plot rock the season wouldn‘t be that bad. This season is kind of a guilty pleasure since when i watched it i actually found it better than S5 😭 Butterflix has grown on me as the faunal designs look pretty and while completely uniform managed to be a pretty decent transformation for how useless it was offensively. E1 to 4 were pretty promising on the roxy content until the writers came up with the smart idea of removing the rock from her 3 episodes in. The Tynix Focused Episodes were probably the best part of this season with how well the miniworlds looked along with the fairy animals having a visual upgrade. The Spells were mediocre but the designs made up for it very well. The biggest mistake will be the dumb infinity swan though, the fairy animals got robbed.
Same! Having Roxy FINALLY be a Winx would’ve easily made it leagues better than S6! I just can’t believe they went through all that work of her even standing up to Headmistress Mavilla about how the fairy animals weren’t happy as pets, they deserve to be free! Even helping Bloom to figure out how to destroy the nature monster that tried killing the digmoles, but she isn’t “special enough” to FINALLY get a new form! Making Bloom’s special Butterflix spell be “asking help from other fairy animals” really? 🙄 ROXY CAN ALREADY TALK AND SUMMON ANIMALS TO FIGHT WITH HER! But no Roxy has been dumbed down to being outfoxed by a bumbling idiotic buffoon of a pathetic wizard the REAL Roxy would’ve beaten in record time without any of the Winx helping her. Why couldn’t it be BLOOM’S stone that got stolen, and Roxy gives hers instead or something? Im so sick of making Bloom little miss perfect who doesn’t have any faults or problems because that’s basically putting her on an unrealistic and unreachable level.
Sorry for the audio qualtiy on this one y'all. Life has been... a lot lately, and I couldn't record in my usual space. Hope y'all enjoy regardless. Imma go nap now.

Hi ^^
Main Reasons to hate this season:
1. It's too childish.
2. Roxy got done dirty again.
3. The transformations are awful.
4. The power of Butterflix is useless.
5. The villains are pathetic and not threatening the slightest.
6. (And most importantly) THERE IS NO PLOT!
Yeah like there's no way Butterflix is stronger than Bloomix!
Season 7 should've been the season that had the new artstyle! Not season 8! Season 7 was more childish than season 8
@@Idkacutename123 Yeah it didn't make any sense for them give up Bloomix over Butterflix considering that the dragon flame is supposed to be the most powerful magic in the entire universe. How can you possibly top that?
@@queenrose2009 they should've only used Butterflix when saving a fairy animal not when they were fighting Kalshara or the Trix
also the voice actors were awful 😐
Stella has SO MUCH potential for Tynix, imagine her transformation with her doing a catwalk, as she walks. The sky above shines a thousand stars and it starts raining diamonds and stars, Stella basks in the raining radiance and she starts transforming
That sounds awesome! Shame that Rainbow didn't think of it.
@@infinitedreamer9359 And it’s also a crime how Musa didn’t ice skate during her transformations for Crystal Sirenix or Lovix
That’s onyrix
Tynix just looks ugly in general. So is Butterflix and Cosmix. Everything about this season is just bland!
@@MiaArianaMia the tynix song isn’t tho
@@tsukishimasbrain9001
Reprogramming people seems uhm… unethical?
It pisses me off so much of how weak bloom got. She went from taking out an entire army of unbeatable monsters and killing 3 powerful witches that no one else can beat in season 1, to not being able to beat out a small villain even with the help of the other winx. It’s even worse in world of winx they don’t even mention the dragon flame or her power
Yea. Atleast we have fate the winx saga now. That's the perfect adaptation. I'm excited to see bloom develop her dragon flame cause that was a major plot of fate s1
@Will N I'm sorry but I can't understand your comment. Plz correct the spelling mistakes and put proper coma's and stuff. I can't understand a word.
You couldn’t just make HER air instead of BeAtRiX?! Which is my other most hated part! Why can’t we have the Trix as 3 queen bees and popular mean girls instead of squishing them into 1 nonthreatening wannabe?
“My name is Bloom, and this is the Winx”
Just showing out how the Winx is an entity that has no personalities whatsoever.
As much as Roxy was done dirty, she was the one that actually got a character development. She went from the new inexperienced fairy to literally leading the Alfea fairies against the Trix.
Even though Roxy did help defeat the monster. She didn’t even became a butterflix fairy.
I mean she’s still a basic fairy not even an enchanting fairy but if they couldn’t give her butterflix they could’ve just upgraded her powers too. She’s just kinda just an animal translator and Zoologist ;-;
I totally agree, when the winx got butterflix roxy was there aswell in that circle off butterflys and she doesnt get butterflix?!thats dirty
@@CinaMoon06 she’s a Believix fairy. Confirmed by Rainbow multiple times. Originally she was supposed to earn Butterflix but that was scrapped.
I agree 100%!!! She’s the literal fairy of ANIMALS?? And she was barely in this season.
She doesn’t even have Enchantix 😭
Yeah and the butterflix transformations and designs all look the same anyway so it wouldn’t have been THAT hard to throw her in there

22:10 Or, you know... Flora. The fairy of nature. Why do we even need EVERY Winx to have the power of nature?
Flora was ALWAYS done dirty, she dosent really have anything too big for her home except for her sister, she gets weak anytime a leaf gets ripped from wind, but Aisha dosent get weakened at ALL during season 5?
Seems like the writers forgot about Bloom’s healing magic -_-
Honestly the most shocking thing for me is that I can’t even tell Bloom is the main character anymore.
I hate mary sue Bloom.
thank you for saying that Bloom is the main character and not all of the girls as some people say. it's clear from season 1-3 that Bloom is the main character and was always intended to be, just because she's part of a group and the other winx have their moments to shine as well doesn't make them ALL main characters,
@@emicastudios8500 The problem is if you want to make a single character the MC out of a group(and the character gets the most screentime),you need to make sure that they're actually interesting and worth having most of the screentime on them and Bloom was never the most interesting character, even back in S1-4.
@@infinitedreamer9359 Good points and all but Bloom is still the main character regardless of if she's badly designed or not.
Technically they did like in the part where they lost they’re magic they just forgot all of it after they got they’re magic back
@@CrazyAlienLady051 idk why they didn’t at least call it aqua’s embrace or something 🥹😭
Non magic fighting sounds amazing. It would have really tested them and shook things up. Would’ve made them badass as well. What a Shame.

To me, season 7 made no sense to me, it was a season that no one even asked for and it was too babyfied and annoying. Like that one scene where Bloom was in her Tynix form and she was riding on her winged unicorn and she got blasted off by Icy and she was all like "Oh, no! Help! I'm falling!"
I remember sitting there just thinking "girl, you got wings!

I wouldn't say that it was babyfied. At least not in that way
Honestly if the writers are gonna be lazy then they should've had Roxy earn her Enchantix off-screen so that she could earn butterflix. And if they wanna be even more lazy, have her incapable of transforming for some reason. Like maybe a curse, so that she still helps but they don't have to make a new design that would only show up like once or twice.
She could've risk her life for someome in the kingdom in S4 and earn it (I've always Say she has Magic Winx with Believix wings) they sabotaged her
@@ClaudetteVioletta I've always thought that she should've gotten Enchantix in s4.
Wow, I agree with this SO much and it's a little sad :\
And yeah, precure does a lot of thing winx really should of

@@wafflebean9828 I mean certain transformations alude to precure in a way. They sure took some inspiration but just not the right one.
Aaaaah I remember the very first Precure being released in my country!!!! BLACK AND WHITE R THE BEST DUO
Thisss 👏 I like that they aged them up although they completely forgot how the adult world would work and just made them act like teens again
@Will N just to clarify, I don’t think the comics are considered canon. Its just the show considering it has the most distribution.
Anyone else here miss the early seasons of Winx?

I love this idea
Gid forbid we can have some good ol body horror in our fairy show
I thought this is what they were going for at first with her adult design being so animalistic looking compared to her as a kid. But yeah god forbid the kids are a bit spooked (cut to every pop anime in existence being dark as fuck)
There wasn’t any reason for not letting Roxy having Butterflix and Tecna’s tynix was horrible
She already is everyone’s least favorite, give at least that poor girl a proper transformation
@@kristinahuchison2511 I don't know why but this is so funny haha xD
Her tynix was not it.....like the rest got shiny shit but her.... She was done dirty Stan her in orynix tho!
The idea of a swan themed gave me an idea of what would be a good name for it. How about Olorix because olor is Latin for swan.
Or cygnix from Cygnus the swan constellation
That would be great. I would’ve loved to see that instead of the ugly Butterflix dresses.
I feel like a Swan themed transformation would extremely hard to design and individualise as each Swan is just white except the black ones
My take was Infinix, after the Infinity Swan..
And have their outfits inspired by swan lake
5:50 Season 4 already fixed this problem by making them teachers at Alfea. I don’t know why the writers didn't keep this concept for future seasons.
Exactly! It could've fixed like half of their problems
@@kristinahuchison2511 Exactly! It's the same thing with Winx.
The Simpson too
I'm surprised Ash from Pokémon didn't get mentioned here. Dude's been 10 for nearly 30 years!
I think my main problem with this entire franchise is that it has SO MUCH potential !!! But it's infantalised (is this word even real) to a point where even children don't like it. Kids aren't idiots, they can watch consistent stories with depth and stakes. What I'm saying is that if Stella is the fairy of the sun then she could have radioactive powers and I'd like to see that
@Will N Yeah exactly ! She could combine her powers to Aisha's and make a tsunami, use the whole moon / tide thing !
WHAT?! Also having Liza Ortiz who is 4Kids Icy and Suzy Meyers as 4Kids Stormy actually would’ve totally made bringing back the Trix so worth it, despite trapping them in the Legendarium was the PERFECT way to FINALLY get rid of them without killing them
Nickelodeon ruined everything.
Last time I was this early, Musa wasn’t white.
season 7 was the first that i actually wasn’t even able to finish. i got so incredibly bored around halfway through that i just ditched it entirely. i truly don’t understand the need to lower the target audience so much. seasons 1-4 were my SHIT as a kid, and they still hold up just fine rewatching as a young adult. and boy, each subsequent season makes me miss the frame-by-frame animation even more. the characters’ movements feel so slow and clunky in s7. it just ain’t the same…
I actually started to watch it, and was enjoying it, but I also did stop midway. I do plan to finish it sometime and try not to be bored with it
I'm determined to watch all new Winx seasons because I want to see them drag my childhood jam into the dirt with my own eyes or I won't believe it's happening. S7 still took me literal years to get through because I'd get too bored, go rewatch the old seasons to clean my palette and then have to start all over again months later because I'd completely forgotten what underwhelming event happent last.
Same here. I stopped watching it midway as the story was poorly thought out and the characters and villains were too childish.
@@TomboyGamerGal at least good for the younger kids then if that's all it is unfortunately. Personally not to childish to me, atleast to keep on going just because
@@marlablanco8853 I grew up with better kid shows in the late 90's-early 2000's.
After Season 4, the stories were a joke.
I really enjoy when you go through an entire season and talk about its flaws and strengths. Especially because you gave season two what it deserves. (tbh it’s on the level of season three at least) Do you think you could do season one next? I think it will be interesting to look back and see where the show started, plus it’s just a great season.
I’d LOVE to see one for S3, or even S4 pointing out all its flaws.
Is it just me but most of the movement and animation felt and seemed so slow in season 7?
It’s not just you
@@midnightfox3157 Thank goodness season 8’s animation went back to pre season 7 movement speed for the characters and everything
@@elusivo3347 thank goodness cuz that would’ve made season 8 even worse than it already was
You're not the only one
Seriously?
Also why do the winx still go to alfea after season 4???. Would have loved to see them move on with their lives and pursue adventures outside of alfea

Like I was so mad when roxy didn't get a butterflix she's the fairy of animal like- 👺✋🏽
Glad to know that you have realized that season 7 is truly the WORST season of Winx Club.
Honestly, I always end up hearing the song saying Demeter instead of the nature, it also fits in a way, great video as always from my favorite Unicorn
Imagine if Bloom lost her gem. That would be interesting , but then she'd get the stone from Roxie or ' somehow ' find / get another. And timetravell , aren't the winx messing with the timeline?
It would be very interesting to see Bloom investigate at Alfea while Stella and Roxy leads the other during their missions into the past
what makes me mad is that Roxy is literally the fairy of animals and knows everything about those magic animals or fairy animals but they decided to throw her away, i was so happy to see Roxy again but the thing is, she is the fairy of animals and she didn’t even get butterflix, lost her stone. she did a lot too so she should’ve gotten butterflix too. when she didn’t get it i got so upset 😐 and they made bloom so weak, she was literally supposed to be the strongest fairy, but she is just useless now, she holds the dragon flame but now it’s like she’s the weakest and that just bothers me so much, she was my favorite cuz of how pretty and strong she is/was but now it’s just not the same, she isn’t the same anymore. i miss the old bloom so much 😭, idek what the plot of season 7 is. it’s just so boring and all the other seasons were better, don’t get me started on how useless butterflix is, they’re all so weak now. it’s outraging.
You finally just realized this....😭😭😭, Season 7 is so childish...
1:04 This right here. "back in time" is something I think Winx Club really failed at. Time travel is a plot device not many can truly master. It's like the Winx can suddenly take animals from these points in time and nothing in the present changes. You're better off just having them all in the present time.
They created more many time paradox bloom she created time paradox
Finally you realised how terrible season 7 is! Tynix had so much potential! For example every girl could be based on a gem. Like Tecna gets amethyst, Bloom gets a Ruby you get what I mean. Butterflix also had a lot of potential because each girl could've been based on a butterfly type, because the butterflix outfits we got are just horrendous!
@Will N Then why do they look so bad😭I probably didn't noticed because they were so colorful😭Ty for telling me
@Will N Damn you payed so much attention! I love it! Ty for telling me
@Will N Tysm for telling me
I don't like season 7 either or Butterflix or Nex but I do love Tynix, the transformation is so pretty and cool. I love the animals they look so cool, cute and magical.
Glad you finally realize that S7 was the worst.
Yah finally
Yeah, when she did a review of the seasons I was like...why do they like season 7??? It SUCKS.
@@katgreer6113 They use they/them pronouns and he/him pronouns
Never liked season 7 anyway, and my biggest complaint about it is Roxy. Yes I LOVED THAT THEY BROUGHT HER BACK! Yay!!! But what they did to her-not getting Butterflix, and basically being there for NO reason WHAT SO EVER… (screaming) not happy!
Now for a message to the creators of this season:
🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Roxy returning was the only reason I gave Season 7 my patience, but when they butchered Roxy's character, I just can't---! 😡
Things to make this season better:
PLEASE.
1st and 3rd points are pointless. S7 has plot unlike s8. And Butterflix is better, than Bloomix.
@@artomapoan2338are you dumb because your stupid, or are you stupid because your dumb?
This tone of your voice seems to agree with your change of heart. Wanting to get season 7 over with to end its suffering.
I was waiting for this apology as I sit in my office swivel chair with a fluffy cat on my lap and I accept it
Yeah, the Fairy animals were the best part of the season.
It's just the rest of it that sucks! Also the Villains were wack as hell.
And then I saw season 8- TRAUMATIZED ME
Season 8 in terms of appearances is definitely the worst in the franchise, though in terms of storylines, it's definitely a step up compared to season 7
@@candybunny2462 i agree with you I didn’t really look at the episode but I saw some moment that actually were really nice like the winx going back to their old transformation and Valtor coming back (my baby) but it was so childish at the same time

You're right. But I don't understand why didn't Roxy get powers when she helped them and the magic was floating around her😂
At least the Butterflix and Tynix songs are better than the Mythix and Bloomix songs
Butterflix is so positive and happy and while it is really cheesy, I like these types of songs.
Tynix has great vocals and I also like the message.
Bloomix is borderline boring and the prototype is much better.
Mythix is better, but kind of forgettable; again the prototype is better.
Excuse you the Bloomix song slaps
You're right about the Tynix song tho
Actually Bloomix wasn’t that terrible, I found it pretty catchy despite its literally just singing Bloom’s praises about how amazing she is and blah, blah, blah. Butterflix is just no, but Tynix definitely shone like a diamond

Or with butterflies, there's many different types of butterflies beyond monarchs or viceroys (aka monarch lookalikes). Inspire the looks based on different types of butterflies/moths. Or imagine a dragonfly-based appearance or bird-like appearances. This could've been a case where the "Butterfly" part of the name is purely for the name
Bestie.
I have been reading your book
You're a genius 😭😭😭😭😭😭
You can actually see stella’s ring in that episode where his fairy animal ate her things
If I recall, this season aired on the Nick Jr channel, which may have been an indicator of the new target audience.
Or they just don't care.
23:30 I seriously thought she was saying “power flows from the meter to me” and i never understood it. I CANT BELIEVE she pronounced nature like that. smh
This season is why I'm obsessed with the evil fairy idea
imagine if they had of done a kinda 'last unicorn' with the fairie animals? (The real faerie animals the girls get are the first creatures they tried to corrupt only find out the magic the animals have really heck it up and make them uncontrollable )
You have these duo that are going to earth, corrupting earth animals and showing them off to the magical world to make money or to cause chaos since they magic world doesn't know how to handle them.
Hell you can even have some really awesome moments of Flora and Roxie being absolute badasses since, this entire plot is basically their bread and butter(flix)
(IDK, maybe they pull a charmix?
I still vote polar bear considering they’re also really strong,
I believe waay more than a grizzly.
Watch season 8 you gonna sleep like a baby
I am soooo ready to hear you rank the winx girls and their personalities, especially knowing how much you appreciate Musa and Aisha (Layla). I need to hear the rests too.
Honestly, there is legitimately a ton that could've been done with the Time Travel plot.
See or cause the beginnings of notable villains or characters.
Accidently create an alternate timeline for an episode or arc.
Introduce a fun timeloop paradox scenario.
Bro I'm endlessly thankful you had the patience to watch both S6 and S7 cuz... I couldn't even finish S6 because of how dull it is, and I think I was 12 or sth back then lol
Rainbow does definitely need help 👀
Love ur videos btw ✨ The outro song gives so much nostalgia :,-)💕
Season 7 was the first season I couldn't finish. It just wasn't worth it anymore. At least it gave us Tynix. That song is maybe the best transformation song and I will die on that hill.
"God I miss Duman" mood, me too.
This is honestly a problem they should've had because animals technically aren't everywhere or at least are willing or even have the energy to help
Finally!, Season 6 is pretty bad but SEASON 7! , all I'm going to say is there's no way Butterflix is more powerful than Bloomix
THANK YOU.
Bit of a missed opportunity not to giving Bloom a dragon. You know, because she has the DRAGON Flame.
Season 7 is trash, and I hope you will rewrite it!! 🤩🤩
Me (a casual guy who watched Winx Club when I was younger): *Hears Lisa Ortiz doesn't voice Icy* Dishonor! Mass hysteria!!
Or they could have gotten someone interessting from that Prison Planet.. Or make Diaspro a proper BBEG ffs.
and this is how i, a kpop and winx fan, realizes that the butterflix dance is lifted from Sunshine by Rainbow, lol.
Roxy is the fairy of animals but she didn't get Butterflix.. For me it's the biggest crime of the season
Roxy: And this is where I'd use my Butterflix. IF I HAD ANY!
It's not Nickelodeon's fault. Straffi already said multiple times that it was HIS decision to lower the show's age demographic.
@@roiitzkovich4545 I’m not actually blaming nick - all I’m saying now is that i would prefer if season 5 onwards didn’t exist
@@roiitzkovich4545 Pretty sure he did that just to milk money from this series as much as possible just to sell merchandise for the younger audience. Tbh, the series should've ended after Season 3 and the very first movie.
Haven't even watched the video yet but THIS WHAT I BEEN SAYING! That said, season 6 still sucks
They could have done so much with the wild magic aspect of things like have Calshara wanting an ultimate wild magic artifact
This season is kind of a guilty pleasure since when i watched it i actually found it better than S5 😭
Butterflix has grown on me as the faunal designs look pretty and while completely uniform managed to be a pretty decent transformation for how useless it was offensively.
