The result was tearing a muscle, under the trapezius. It was the second worse pain I've had in my life. It felt like giant hooks through the muscle and it took years to heal (if it actually has healed.)

Bodybuilding, like any physical pursuit, can be considered temporary for several reasons: 1. **Peak Physical Condition:** Bodybuilders often push their bodies to extreme limits to achieve a certain physique for competitions or personal goals. Maintaining this peak condition, which often involves strict dieting, intense training, and supplementation, can be unsustainable in the long term. 2. **Aging:** As we age, our bodies naturally undergo changes that can make it more challenging to maintain the same level of muscle mass and definition achieved during the peak of bodybuilding efforts. Hormonal changes, decreased metabolism, and other factors can all play a role in this. 3. **Injuries:** The intense training and heavy lifting involved in bodybuilding can increase the risk of injuries over time. These injuries can impact a bodybuilder's ability to train effectively, leading to muscle loss and potentially altering their physique. 4. **Lifestyle Changes:** Bodybuilding often requires a significant time commitment, strict dietary adherence, and a focused lifestyle. As priorities change or life circumstances evolve, individuals may find it difficult to maintain the same level of dedication to bodybuilding. 5. **Health Concerns:** Extreme bodybuilding practices, such as excessive use of performance-enhancing drugs or extreme dieting, can have negative effects on long-term health. These practices can lead to issues such as hormonal imbalances, organ damage, and other health complications. While bodybuilding can be a rewarding pursuit that promotes discipline, physical fitness, and self-confidence, it is important to approach it with a balanced perspective and consider the potential long-term implications on both physical and mental well-being. Many bodybuilders transition to more sustainable training approaches or adjust their goals as they age to prioritize overall health and longevity. 🤷♂️
