She's such a sweet person and, when younger, she was part of Brazilian Olympic Gymnastic team....she's got 3 Pan American Games medals... Sweet, calm, beautiful and brave....that's our princess Laís... May our Heavenly Father bless her forever more

Nunca vou me conformar com essa ideia, no mínimo, insensata de criarem um comitê de esportes de inverno em um país tropical e convidarem essas ginastas para se exporem a um esporte e a um ambiente com os quais elas não tinham a menor afinidade. A ginástica já é um esporte arriscado, mas Laís o praticava desde cedo, ela conhecia plenamente o esporte, e suas armadilhas. Nunca ouvi de ninguém do tal comitê se pronunciar da maneira correta diante do que aconteceu. Força Laís! Que ela seja um desses casos que surpreendem a medicina.

Como esquiadora novata ela nunca deveria ter ido treinar frenagens numa pista do mais alto nível (black diamond). For uma baita irresponsabilidade da comissão técnica Brasileira.
Crazy. Skiing is not the same as gymnastics. She need a lot more time and training in order to learn the nuances and other skills in Skiing, not the least of which dealing the weather. Makes me mad. God bless you Lais-- you will improve I just know it. '_' ; ) 08/31/24.

No, she wanted to get out!! She talked about it in other interviews, that she discovered that there were a whole world beyond the gymnastics!
