Welcome and I'm happy you found me. I encourage you to leave questions and I'll happily answer or provide a video to explain if it's a little more complicated ❤️
You are welcome, I noted that you have also watch the 78 cards video (just replied to your comment) which helps me get a picture of where you are in your tarot journey. Please also add a daily draw to your new routine and keep randomly pulling cards to test your recall for their meaning. I have a free printout on my website on keywords so you could print that too. Keep a journal of all your readings and before you know it you'll be surprised at how easily it just clicks into place ❤️
Thank you!! This is so helpful! You’re a wonderful teacher (and I’m a teacher so I know good 😊). Also, your beautiful accent makes it easy to listen to.
Hi Neveen, just popping through my 'to-do replies' and I'm sorry I forgot to say that the video is up on the channel now, and I hope you find it helpful: ruclips.net/video/YMBzezN8dj4/видео.html
Love watching your videos and how you explain things simply ❤i also love the deck you are using whete can i find that one please? I like the simple illustrations xx
I'm so glad that you found it helpful. It's a lovely deck called Simplicity Tarot and is available on Amazon amzn.to/3PUHmdt or from me 😘if you are in the UK the-tarot-shop.co.uk/product/simplicity-tarot/❤️
Hi, how do you ask the cards your question and the type of spread you want at the same time? Is it like: "tell me more about my love life" "past, present and future". Can you ask them repeatedly? And then you stop shuffling when you feel like it's done and pull the 3 card spread?
Hello! Why do you divide the deck into two and then into one when shuffling the deck at the end? What does this affect, this separation? It is very interesting, I will be glad to hear your answer!
Hello, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. This was such an interesting question and I had to truly think for a minute why infact I did it! The truthful answer is that it's a traditional method to cut the pile three times (Arthur Waite's Original Key to the Tarot states three and he was the founding father of the Rider-Waite tarot) for the client to choose which pile they feel drawn to. In the absence of a client I still cut them without even thinking and pop back together, which means it's an instinctive ritual for me now. I have never asked the client to cut the pile into three, only two because I didn't see the point. I hope that answers your question ❤️
I see a lot of readers on RUclips that will shuffle until the cards fall out and they will use these cards for the reading. What do you think about that? I like it, personnaly, but is it a good way to do it ? Or it's better to do it your way (cutting in half and using the 3 first cards)?
It's a good question. I think it's a habit for me, I've been shuffling and reading the same way for over 30 years and I enjoy the control. Remember the cards work with you and when you are bonding they quickly learn what style you use. Mine is to control the cut, complete and set the spread. However, I still use 'jumpers' if they pop out because I know they want me to use that card. This is also the style I teach. Personally, I advocate a controlled cut because the cards will appear as they are meant to and very often you are on a clock during a sitting. It's a personal choice, no wrong or right way but you must let the cards know which method you will be using before you complete the shuffle if that makes sense ❤️
@@TheTarotShopUK Great thank you! Yes I think your method is good also because sometimes when I shuffle and let the cards fall out, 10 cards can fall out at the same time and it's too much lol but I would'nt take them. Ususally, when I use this method, I really want cards that are obvious. I guess in the end, it's what resonates most with you and what feels more comfortable. Thanks for your answer 🙂
This is a great question. Ask once and if you don't quite understand the answer, you can rephrase the question. Sometimes it helps to be very clear about the question ❤️
@@TheTarotShopUK Thanks for the reply :) What about I ask the cards about my job and in 2 day I ask again. Is it too soon? I really appreciate your videos. They help me a lot ❤
@GuitarsAndSynths do you mean in every reading? If you keep getting minor arcana, the cards are very practical with you rather than transformative. Leave the deck intact because they will come when there's an important message. Just need to make sure the deck is very well shuffled, check all the majors aren't grouped together and if they are split them up❤️
@viks3644 Hi, preferably, all 78 cards are used, although you could strip out particular suits with majors if you want a specific area covered. Cups and swords for relationships/love and/or wands and pentacles for work/career/finance. I'll pop a video up about this because it's a good popular question ❤️
Hi, i hope this isn't a silly question but do you shuffle the cards along the length or along its shorter side as you did? Does this affect the shuffling, like get them mixed up properly?
Great question thank you. Things have changed so much in the last 30 years with this one! Originally, the client would shuffle and cut, but a lot of clients would struggle with shuffling. Then, I would ask the client to cut the deck whilst thinking about the question, and I did this for quite a while. Then, I would cut for them and ask them to choose a pile. When I worked the shows my cards would get very depleted so I stopped letting them touch them - it's an energy exchange and so I would simply touch their hand for a moment to connect and shuffle, cut myself and read. Then, the world changed with the social distance. Online readings became the only option for us all and so readers became the only ones to touch our cards at all. These days a lot of readings are online so this still stands and I must admit I wouldn't let anyone touch my cards now due to the energy exchange. When you understand that this and the fact that spirit already know that this person is coming for a reading and will influence the cards there is absolutely no need to have the client touch them. Long answer sorry but a bit of background is always important here. ❤️❤️
@@TheTarotShopUK thank you so much for the in-depth explanation. It makes perfect sense to be the only person touching your own deck, it truly is an energy exchange. I love your videos, please keep reading and inspiring.
I'm really enjoying your videos, thank you! Would you be able to tell me where I could find a set of the 4 tarot suit ornaments you have in the top left corner? I absolutely LOVE them! 😍
I love them too - I actually bought all four of them independently on a Glastonbury shopping trip two years ago and they became the shop mascots on the logo. It's such a co-incidence (although we don't believe in such things 😘) because I've managed to source all four items, not exact replicas but very, very close and I'm about to launch them on the site... ❤️
You are my go to Tarot card learning. I'm only a beginner but your teachings give me more accurate reading.

It's just the first time I've seen this done when shuffling the deck.

I always get the minor arcana cards like pentacles - so should I use only the major arcana cards at first as a beginner to tarot?

Just a quick question - do we shuffle all 78 cards or just 56 (minor arcana)?

Good question . I do both depending upon the card size. It's a comfort factor, so no rules ❤️
Do you let you client pick the cards or do you pick them ? Should you be the only person touching your cards ?
