      @@joelonzello4189 Well, he is a hippie type of guy, and his girlfriend also looked that way. Somehow he lost touch with reality, with all that money. I think he is a nicer guy than Madoff and more idealistic. That may have contributed to the sentence of 25 years, which is a low one, considering the size of the amount. I feel sorry for him, and hope he is out in 10 years.

    Now time to go after the puppet master parents. It never ceases to amaze me how some people can never get enough. Being cushy law professors at Stanford and living an affluent life was not good enough for these people.     I just wastched a video of a lady getting out on $150.000 bail for MURDER!!!!!
    Another one was a squater killer a person that owned the home for coming in their own home. And he won't be charged.
    Yet this guy gets 25 years.

    I love his word salad. He’s saying he did it but that his motives were not impure? Hence, a theft of 25 billion-hardly a line item error-should not be seen as so serious?! And how did he not get a fair trial? Because the media covered the case somehow tainted the process? It’s all so confusing.

    The most time in jail he will spend is probably 10 years and get an early release due to "good behavior".... He has a lot of money hidden and he can get after he gets out, what a smart plan.

      No parole for federal sentences, he'll have to serve every day of those 25 years, unless his appeal works and the sentence is overturned completely or with a lighter sentencing.

      Using customer funds to invest without telling them or them knowing, is illegal.
