- Most players and collectors out there know that all older Marshalls and Gibsons were not created equal. You could have ten of the same model, from the same year and all of them will have a little different character and tone. This is what keeps that hunt alive for all the vintage gear enthusiasts out there.. they all want "The One". This particular pair is all that!
This incredibly resonant 1963 Gibson Les Paul/SG Junior displays fantastic color with minimal fade, very little player wear, vibey checking over most of the instrument and weighs in at a perfect 5 lbs 11 oz. The highly desirable chucky C shape neck is in great shape, truss rod works perfectly and the frets have lots of life remaining. The original P-90 sounds fantastic and the cavity is untouched with pots dating to 1963. This guitar truly plays and sounds as good as she looks!

Kickass rig and great playing 👏
Excellent playing.
Great playing man 👌
Basically my current rig. I have an original 1961 Gibson Les Paul jr and an 18w marshall clone I built. Mini bluesbreaker I suppose lol. Nice video.
🤘🏼🤘🏼
What kit did you build?
@brianmccarthy8734 the Tube Depot 18w British kit
I love how organic this rig sounds...
organic???
I love love that nasty narly TONE! P 90's and a Marshall!
That 1962 Marshall was made in 1968 or later. 1962 is the model number. The first blues breaker was released in 1964 and was a custom order for Eric Clapton. The model numbers of the blues breaker were 1961, a 4x10 and 1962, a 2x12. .

Nice video. Excellent job.
that amp didn't exist in 1962. that is the model number. yours in this video is from the 70s
it's a jtm45 model 1962 from the 70s.... its still cool... but remember that marshall model numbers have no relation to the year they were made.
And you're never never never never never going to have either of these.
What pickupa arenin a Les Paul ?also P90?
What is up with that bridge? Is it modified>?
Hi, it’s an aftermarket bridge. Not sure what brand it is.
I love and support the fact that you LGBT+ people get more and more into vintage gear. Thumbs up!
WHA???
????
Bro, this has a Bon Scott era vibe to the sound. Love it!
