While most dealers mark-up everything these days and especially rare / limited production cars, not every Toyota dealer has mark-ups, even on the Corolla GR Hatch. I think that there is a reddit thread that lists dealerships that do not have mark-ups.

I'm still throughly impressed that Toyota managed to get people this excited about a Corolla. Myself included! You can bet I'll be at the dealership with a bludgeon fighting for an allocation come winter time.
Toyota saying they didn't expect such a positive response is very telling of the people running the car industry. They are out of touch with what sports car drivers want. An AWD manual-exclusive 300hp hatch with a widebody... How did they NOT expect it to go well? lol 17:44
Exactly. Toyota executives probably think that people only get excited for NPC crossovers. Hopefully the response to this car shows them that the market is willing to shell out $ for special performance cars. The days of enthusiast cars not selling are long gone. Any OEM that made a good-effort attempt at one is struggling to keep up with demand (bronco, c8 z06, ctr, etc)
VW sells more GTI's and Golf R's in North America than anywhere else in the world yet this absurd notion that North Americans dont like hatchbacks and wagons continues.
I think the interior being "very Corolla" isnt a bad thing because, this isnt a luxury car.....its a performance car. Keeping a useful interior with a performance oriented chassis and powertrain is the name of the game here with the GR Corolla.
Oh no i wasnt correcting him or anything, but him making the point that if you're thinking you're getting a luxury fast car with the GR Corrolla, you're not going to get that - im definitely ok with that. The aftermarket potential and the great powertrain makes up for the lack of a luxury package. Like i said, the name of the game here is performance....with a little practicality thrown in.
This car is already lacking to be considered a "hot hatch." Specifically for what they're going to charge, I would like an extra cylinder please. A slick 6 speed shifter from Mazda would be nice too. And either center or dual exhaust, pick one. Car exhaust idea looks like it was put together by 3rd graders. I'm surprised there aren't sidepipes that blow out flames too. It doesn't take much to make an affordable, quick, pocket rocket. Dodge did it with the Neon SRT4. Cobalt SS? Toyota has always had old Japanese men that still pay for geishas running the show, they can never come up with anything good that's worth the money, all these rebadged Subarus and BMWs don't count.
Mitsubishi's automotive department is such a small fraction of their actual income. That, they don't need to create sporty cars. And I'd rather the Evo die and go down like the legend it is. Than see the mockery it would've been like the Subaru WRX
@One Issue Voter gr yaris and gr corolla are not made by subaru or bmw. The supra is bmw, yeah, but the styling and tuning on that car is toyota. And how can you complain about a car being made by bmw? It's one of the best manufacturers in the world. Toyota had the first idea on the 86/brz. They've idealized the model and went to subaru to get the powertrain from them. It is a partnership. The car isn't made solely by subaru. And toyota is still winning rally championships with the yaris and dominating the endurance championship with the gr010, and previously with the ts050.
@One Issue Voter hey, at least we got sports cars from them. I’m all for it. It’s better than seeing a sports car turned into an crossover. Or keep showing rotary powered concept cars and making patents for them and not actually producing them 🙈
A quite literal perfect daily driver that will be produced in small numbers and marked up to shit and scooped up and resold. Everyday enthusiasts will never be able to buy this for actual Toyota prices until years later. What a lovely timeline we have.
I’m literally going to be harassing my dealer about getting a new one. I refuse to pay that markup on a used one that some asshole beat to shit for 2000 miles before trading it in to make some money
Toyota nailed this. Not over designed like the civic. Plus the power And the “all wheel” drive. Wish I was in the market but probably couldn’t get one anyways…
More like cars people “would” enjoy driving. Most of these will sit on dealer lots until some idiot buys one for $60-70k. Then they’ll sit in that idiots garage for another 6 months until some other idiot buys it off BaT for $80k. Then that idiot will just stare at it in his garage afraid to scratch or dent his $80k fucking CAROLLA 😆. Meanwhile, if the dealers just sold close to MSRP, they’re actually sell more than one or two cars a week, and make more money. If the idiots flipping cars just invested there time and money in real financial investments they’d make more money and have more time for hobbies they actually enjoy. If all these people weren’t this dumb car makers would just make as many as people wanted, repair and replacement parts would be affordable, there’d be more aftermarket support. Unfortunately, most companies seem to think they need to engineer scarcity to create “brand cache”. All they’re doing is killing their industries and sending droves of people into the arms of boring brands that don’t play these games, like Hyundai, KIA, and Tesla.
Didn’t get to be on the list for this one, ended up going for the manual Supra… the amount of people trying to get a gr Corolla at my dealership was insane.
It kind of amazing to me that at the end of the ICE is when Toyota decides to pursue fun awesome cars, manual Supra, GR Yaris, GR Corolla, Tundra TRD Pro etc
@@skylined5534 toyota is engineer driven like few other car companies they can see that oil based fuels are superior in almost every way to the current alternatives and they have higher expectations for making hydrogen viable than making batteries possible to be desired without heavy government pressure should they be right, we will see tons of hydrogen converted GR Toyotas on the streets in the future
There will be a few thousands of these and only enthusiasts will care about it unless they release an automatic version. ICE itself is dying, let alone manuals.
I'm guessing the primary reason for the elevated load floor out back, is that the standard Corollas don't have to fit a rear diff under there. There's a whole new suspension, differential, half-shafts, and cradle they managed to package under the floor--which is likely a unique stamping in this application.
@@JacesOwnWorld That doesn't make it a bad design. You can't expect them to design an entirely new platform to support one relatively low-priced, low-volume vehicle.
Looking into it more, the Corolla is based on Toyota's New Global Architecture (TNGA-C), which was designed with AWD capability. So they didn't just "slap AWD in"
It's crazy to see a Corolla become this. Not bad, just crazy. They should bring back the Tercel and make it a TinyEV. Something that does 0-100 in four seconds makes perfect sense for city traffic, lol.
I mean it's a very Japanese thing to do, to take their mainstream economy car and turn it into a sports car. Civic, Impreza, Lancer, America followed with the SRT-4, Focus, etc. Love it though!

300hp out of 1.6L. That's almost 200hp per litre in an everyday driver type car with expected Toyota reliability backing it up. Very, very impressive. Doesn't seem that many years ago when 100hp per litre in a street car was something to talk about.
Not good. You can only get so much hp out of an engine this small before things start to get seriously strained. If it were that simple, why wouldn't every 300 hp car just include a 3-cylinder engine.
@@krane15 Because this engine has some serious racing technology. Its truly a especial engine, I invite you to search more info about it, its fascinating.
@@krane15 that's because the technology that made this engine reliable and possible was just invented recently and Toyota tested it enough to put it in their cars. Or are you doubting Toyota reliability?

3:46 I just noticed that the shift knob shape is eerily reminiscent of the Celica Supra's shift knob. A nice hommage to its great sports cars of the 80s.
I love everything about this car. Even with the base engine, the Corolla with a 6-speed is good fun, I’ll always take a fun car that feels fast over a boring car that actually is. Now it’ll be actually fast. I want one.
I had an 87 Corolla FX16 GTS, and that was one hell of a car for its day, twin cam, 16 valve, 7,500 redline, with limiter built in. great handling and performance
This is probably gonna be an insane hit, not only it's so powerful for a small car, it got Toyotas reliability and a tiny 3cl engine that saves fuel cost at huge power delivery! the wide body thing is sooo unique and almost no car is seen to have this, in 20 or 30years this will a rare car that all car collectors would own I bet as the high trim will only have 1500 units...

Ever since the new Corolla Hatchback was released, I was praying that they would release a performance model somewhere down the line. They just looked so cool and sporty. Then when they announced the GR, I lost it. I thought to myself "My prayers have been answered! I MUST own this car. By the time the car becomes available, I should be done paying off my Civic". But when I saw how much hype there was for this car a couple days after the announcement and how much inventory there was going to be, I already knew I wasn't going to be able to own one. And it sucks because I wanted it to be my first car with a manual gearbox. 😭😭😭
I feel like I am in the same boat as you. I would also like a GR Toyota as my first manual car. I love my little civic but I wish it was stick sometimes
This is an amazing car out of the box. My biggest concern is the ability to purchase one. Feel like they will be very imited for a long time, and at ridiculous prices. Hopefully this is not the case. Especially for first time new-car buyers. This is the first "new" car I really want to purchase as a daily.
@@nothere572 I was expecting the circuit edition to be limited of course, because they mentioned this. I feel as though the rest of the models should be readily accessible. They're doing so well right now with this car, and now the manual version of the supra is confirmed. Hype r is lightweight, last gen hype r has good track times.. Can't come to a conclusion when you're hyped about a corolla and have not driven either juan
Check GR Yaris and Type R comparisons. Gr Yaris quicker to 100 and 1/4. Type R better in rolling race and on track. I'd suspect the Yaris would outperform the Corolla by a little.
The 3 cylinder concept that's beginning to take hold in the North American market is ridiculous, just as the triple exhaust on this thing, pick, either dual exhaust or center. My wife's 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 has a 3 cylinder but the car cost her around $14k and has 78HP. The base engine on the Bronco Sport is also a 3 cylinder. These engines have poor balance by laws of physics. Don't know why anyone would pay full price for half an engine. Come on Toyota. "Gazoo Racing" is also ridiculous. What happened to TRD? All manufacturers are trying to make a dollar out of $0.50 cents. Look at Ford and the Maverick. These designs save money on manufacturing but they're not going to hold up.
This is gonna be awesome! Hopefully it doesn’t get treated like the Focus RS. Dealer markups so high it causes low sales then the car gets killed due to “low sales”
I'm hoping the same thing! This is literally the perfect car for me... IF I can get one, that is. lol I imagine it's going to be a tough acquisition regardless.
something I kind of find genius with Toyota, is somehow not garnering too much of an obsessive following of the corolla despite the massive sales. It allows them keep the corolla as more of an "idea" than a recognizeable shape. This is exemplified with how many people were pissed at honda for turning an integra from a 2 to a 4 door. similar effect with civics I've seen. People like the integra more for the shape and design than its idea.
What the Corolla enjoys more than any other nameplate is that it carries a legacy of reliable affordable easy to fix fuel efficient transportation. When you sell 50,000,000+ of one vehicle alone the name sells the car, shape almost doesn't matter at that point.
Integras were 2 and 4 doors back than just like how the civics drop the ball on the coupe honda in my opinion is trying so hard to follow Subaru thsn they wonder why alot of them went to Subaru and other awd cars or sporty cars honda ain't the same like the 90s

A few thoughts: 1. I love this car! I own a regular Corolla Hatchback and that thing is fun for what it is, and this GR is just incredible. Toyota knocked it out of the park! 2. For those who don’t like it and say it won’t be as fast as say a Civic Type R or a WRX, want to see how the numbers stack up, that’s fine, but I don’t think that’s the point. The overall driving experience, and the FUN behind the wheel is what’s most important here, rather than who is the fastest or most powerful. 3. We know that most of us won’t get our hands on one, especially with dealer markups, but let’s be real here, most of us commenting weren’t going to get one anyway. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. Simple as that. 4. For those who say they won’t get a first gen version, I get that. But remember, the drivetrain has already been used, proven, and loved. It’s not new. The Corolla Hatchback itself is also not new, and has already been in the market for a few years. Lastly, remember it’s Toyota. No leaps and bounds, but steady progress to make sure things are right. Nothing is perfect, but because all of these parts have been used by Toyota already, I’m pretty sure they will be just fine. To end the rant, I’m a big fan of this car and I absolutely love it.

The iMT - Intelligent Manual Transmission button actually rev matches the up shifts as well as the down shifts. It’s smart about it too. When you’re in a situation where it’s better to engine brake it does so instead of rev matching. I don’t know if it uses the radar or rpm vs speed or brake pedal position but it does it very well. You can hear the rev matching up shift going into 2nd. This is a feature I’ve never heard any reviewer mention. Some just think it doesn’t work all the time. It’s that way by design. When I heard this car was going to be a thing I was worried it'd be a few lame exterior trim bits and a badge, but this is practically a whole new car. It's dope!
Can't wait for this car. Although, I think to Doug's point about the interior, people won't buy this thinking it's a luxury car. They'll buy it for the driving experience which will be anything but boring. Besides, the interior has all the niceties, tech features, and creature comforts I could ask for. My '16 M2's interior is loaded with plastics but I didn't buy it for the interior materials. Same with the GR Corolla. The interior is nice enough, and a substantial upgrade over the GR Yaris. I'm selling the Bimmer for one of these. Well done, Toyota.
Even if a car isn't loaded with plastics, there are plastics some areas. Would you also complain if a cheap economy car has plastics? So people bitch about plastics on the interior, yet people don't mind that plenty of cars from the 80's and 90's had plastic interiors?
@@automation7295 the media loves to complain about this and I get it to a certain extent. For more expensive cars, it's more of a problem. I don't think they'll do much complaining about the GR Corolla once they drive it. Plus, the interior isn't bad at all. It's got all the modern tech and features that it should have at this price point. There aren't many affordable sport compacts with a heated steering wheel out there, but this has one. I also don't see any cheap piano black plastic which is a pet peeve for many. Rear seat room also looks decent. Other automakers like Honda and Mazda have relatively nice interiors for the money as well. The most important thing for me is function, and the GR Corolla's interior doesn't have any frustrating touch controls. It looks clean, modern, and straightforward to use. The racy bits on the Circuit add a special look and feel too. It's even more important for a true driver's car to have simple and intuitive controls. This car is the antidote to needless complexity (i.e. new GTI/Golf R) and is all about the driver. I'm here for it.
as a mk7 GTI owner I'm watching this closely as a potential replacement eventually. I'm not a fan of the new Golf R interior space, and I recognize that as a Corolla it's not gonna be a luxury car. but I'm seeing some piano black near the shifter which concerns me. Also I don't need a luxury car, but what would be crucial to me or others like me, I drive 600 miles a week, I'm sure it's gonna be great when you get it in the mountains, but how does the car behave as a 70mph highway cruiser? Not caring about gas milage, but how stable is it, how noisy is it, and how comfortable are the seats after sitting for an hour? People may not like the golf, but no one car argue that it's not the best hot hatch in the segment for being a normal commuter car because it's comfy, quiet, and you can go 100mph all day long with one hand on the wheel and a drink in the other.
@@grantkendrick277 I suspect the GR Corolla will deliver in the comfort/refinement area as well. The choice to go with 18'' wheels speaks to that as well. It may not ride quite as smooth as the Golf R, but I expect it to be comfortable and plenty compliant on normal roads.

When this generation came out I thought it would look cool if they came out with a high performance version. I doubt anyone is going to expect a very luxurious interior in a Toyota and you know certain RUclipsrs are going to buy these and tune them to like 500-600hp.
That Kim Kardashian rear end is monstrous. Curious what the MPG will be on a 300HP 3 cylinder. I like that it's a 4WD with selectable bias. Good practicality too. Sign me up for a red circuit spec.
@Luscious3174 Indeed, these new cars today are ugly, huge, and weigh a ton....Not interested in them at all. Especially all the safety nannies and electronic nonsense.
If I remember correctly, the center exhaust is meant to relieve the back pressure from the high amount of power from the engine above a certain level of RPM. Plus, it ultimately helps the GR Corolla achieve its 300 horsepower. As for colors, I'm certain that people are gonna mod the hell out of these things and repaint them in the color they desire.
I'm all for letting people mod their car as they want, but I don't think paint color should be one of those things. Wraps are a good option, but with the demand this car inherently has, there's not a great reason for offering such few options.

About ten years ago, I looked up the meaning of “Corolla.” It is the pattern of petals of any flower. So- the circular pattern of petals of any flower is its “Corolla.” Isn’t that neat to know?
The fact that Toyota is making such a small number of these is so disheartening. That and the dealer markups mean that the average guy won’t be able to get one of these for years… At least I got a reservation on the new GR Supra MT but I would’ve preferred the Corolla…
The reason for small number is that these are hand built made in motomachi gr plant japan. To keep the quality top notch everyything i mean everything is hand checked and other is this chip and raw material shortage. I hope next year the numbers will be high , so i can try to get one.
I'm literally saving every penny possible to get this car onc either comes out lm think a 6k-10k down payment would be perfect for a reasonable down payment which is possible through the sale of my highway driven only 2016 Jeep patriot with 155k and saving around 4-5k instead of spending it on upgrades for my mazdaspeed protege converted protege5. And since my jeep is only driven once a week for church unless I go on road trips and is maintained with oem parts and the annually serviced cvt at dealer, I'd say it's worth around 5-7k without the inflated car market added value.
@@baronvonjo1929 Great point! I don't think it would be an issue considering they have a Kona AWD also with a 1.6 displacement that handles the extra weight from a CUV just fine while having much less power than the Toyota 1.6 engine. Granted it is a four cylinder as opposed to a 3 cylinder, but the power difference is massive when you compare them by displacement output.
@@vroomgc The standard Corolla has an average curb weight of 3055 Ibs while the Corolla GR has a curb weight of 3,249 Ibs. Which is a 194 Ib increase despite having an AWD system and a smaller displacement. The Corolla Cross has an average curb weight of 3,220 which is only 70 Ibs more than that of a standard Corolla's average curb weight. If Toyota were to apply the same method in developing a Corolla Cross GR, I'm sure they would find a way to reduce weight and just as they did with the GR Corolla. Furthermore, let's take a look at the weight difference between an Elantra N and a Kona N. An Elantra N has a curb weight of 3186 Ibs while the Kona N has a curb weight of 3340 Ibs which is a 154 Ib difference between the two. In a hypothetical situation, if you take the 194 Ib weight difference between a standard Corolla and a GR Corolla and add it to the Corolla Cross, you would have a Corolla Cross GR weighing at 3414 Ibs. The weight difference between this hypothetical figure and the current GR Corolla is 165 Ibs which is very similar to the weight difference between both Hyundai N models. Sure you can make an argument that Both Hyundais don't have AWD but the main take away here is that the weight difference of a hypothetical Corolla Cross GR shouldn't be much more than that of the current GR Corolla as can be seen between both Hyundai N models considering I've done my math correctly.
@@vroomgc I would also like to add that the weight difference of an Elantra N and a GR Corolla is just 20 Ibs. Despite the Toyota having the smaller displacement, it handles the weight just fine. So referring back to my hypothetical weight figure of the Corolla Cross GR and comparing it to the weight of the Kona N, it would have a difference of 74 Ibs. If the GR Corolla has no problem handling the similar weight figure of it's counterpart, I would assume it's safe to say, the hypothetical Corolla Cross GR could also be just as capable in doing so. Now in a real world application, I could be wrong but I could only hope my assessment is correct and we do indeed get a Corolla Cross with the GR powertrain!

Exactly. Toyota executives probably think that people only get excited for NPC crossovers. Hopefully the response to this car shows them that the market is willing to shell out $ for special performance cars. The days of enthusiast cars not selling are long gone. Cobalt SS? There's a whole new suspension, differential, half-shafts, and cradle they managed to package under the floor--which is likely a unique stamping in this application.

Certainly impressive, the magic of forced induction. How about a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engine with 120hp per liter made 22 years ago?

These designs save money on manufacturing but they're not going to hold up.

something I kind of find genius with Toyota, is somehow not garnering too much of an obsessive following of the corolla despite the massive sales. It allows them keep the corolla as more of an "idea" than a recognizeable shape. This is exemplified with how many people were pissed at honda for turning an integra from a 2 to a 4 door. similar effect with civics I've seen. People like the integra more for the shape and design than its idea.
The concept or phenomenon you've identified described here goes further than the car industry, only! Great thinking.
What the Corolla enjoys more than any other nameplate is that it carries a legacy of reliable affordable easy to fix fuel efficient transportation. When you sell 50,000,000+ of one vehicle alone the name sells the car, shape almost doesn't matter at that point.
Integras came as 4 doors in the past.
Integras were 2 and 4 doors back than just like how the civics drop the ball on the coupe honda in my opinion is trying so hard to follow Subaru thsn they wonder why alot of them went to Subaru and other awd cars or sporty cars honda ain't the same like the 90s

@@vroomgc Toyotas are very expensive now. I don't know many people who can justify a 300 or more car payment. Hondas are even worst.
Luckily I work at a Toyota dealership in sales and able to get one at MSRP! Can’t wait
I wish they were making more of them, they could definitely sell more than they’re planning on producing
They’re planning on the dealers marking them up to $90k.
I just bought a Corolla hatchback XSE. I really love the car. The regular Corolla is absolutely everywhere you turn your head. Apple CarPlay makes the infotainment system way better. I love the adaptive cruise control and all the other little small things that make the car a great driving car.
Toyota really on a roll ever since they brought back the 86. Can't wait to pre-order this.
It's like listening to an infinite number of Dougs talking at the same time.
THIS! (this) (this) (this) (this) (this)
The Circuit is a future collectable.. Guaranteed.
I’m so hyped for this car. There are so many things Toyota didn’t have to do and the car would still be amazing. I hope I’m able to afford to buy one one day
“To signify this car’s GR-ness.” When Doug reviews an old Pontiac Bonneville GXP I hope he doesn’t discuss the badging in terms of it signifying that car’s GXP-ness.
Be careful saying "GXP-ness" out loud..
@@loganneese9060 too late.
Sus
@@22noobtube I had to say it out loud multiple times. Not sure why. Haha
@@danielgladston1785 that's what I'm really curious to see. I plan on keeping my GTI for a while but I absolutely plan on test driving a gr against a golf R if I still want a hatchback in 3ish years
When this generation came out I thought it would look cool if they came out with a high performance version. I doubt anyone is going to expect a very luxurious interior in a Toyota and you know certain RUclipsrs are going to buy these and tune them to like 500-600hp.
Or, you know, swap a GTR engine in and give it 1300-1500Hp...
Lifts the head over 500 hp
@@lukedraper4100 There's a chance this will be solved in the future with better head studs/headgasket combos from tuners.
People who expect a very luxurious interior in a Toyota are idiots, I guess they also expect Ford Bronco to have a Rolls-Royce interior?
I have the Toyota Yaris GR and I have been blown away by the power it has.
That Kim Kardashian rear end is monstrous. Curious what the MPG will be on a 300HP 3 cylinder. I like that it's a 4WD with selectable bias. Good practicality too. Sign me up for a red circuit spec.
@Luscious3174
Indeed, these new cars today are ugly, huge, and weigh a ton....Not interested in them at all. Especially all the safety nannies and electronic nonsense.
Kim k rear 😂
I'm not a hot hatch type of person, but this car is impressive and can't wait to see the performance numbers.
...what's stopping you from being a hot hatch type of person?
@@pan4632 I generally gravitate toward coupes because of the sleeker body contours. Not saying hatchbacks look bad, theyre just not what I prefer.

Yeah, with wrap it can be any colour you want, for my taste it looks perfect, only thing i would add is normal sized rear spoiler (:
@@DaveAngelic Like he said they're still working on the spoiler for the Circuit unless you're going for the Core.
I'm all for letting people mod their car as they want, but I don't think paint color should be one of those things. Wraps are a good option, but with the demand this car inherently has, there's not a great reason for offering such few options.
@@Weimerica8841 I meant to say wraps.
@@fenrirslip Yeah i heard the spoiler thing later.. Perfect car but unfortunately not sold in Europe..
I had a 2013 mazdaspeed 3, and a 2018 focus st I love hot hatches. They’re so much fun and practical. Plus anything with a turbo is easily modified and tuned !! This is a must buy!!
Coolest car Toyota has made in a looong time. Might be slower than the Supra, but I'll take it over the Supra any day. Bring back Rally cars!
I agree, ever since the new Supra started getting teased, it never caught my attention. But I can't believe i'm in love with a corolla LOL I own a 2014 GT500 and never liked these new sporty Japanese cars but this and the Yaris is just so good.
Check out Hyundai N cars. Hyundai has been dominated both Rally WCR championships and TRC races with those cars.
I know you mentioned the interior wasn’t the nicest, but honestly I wish the GR86 had this interior. It’s like one of the only knocks against that car (imo)
About ten years ago, I looked up the meaning of “Corolla.” It is the pattern of petals of any flower. So- the circular pattern of petals of any flower is its “Corolla.”
Isn’t that neat to know?
THIS, is what we’ve been waiting for Doug.
The fact that Toyota is making such a small number of these is so disheartening. That and the dealer markups mean that the average guy won’t be able to get one of these for years… At least I got a reservation on the new GR Supra MT but I would’ve preferred the Corolla…
Unfortunately that applies to all their cars :( the new GR Supra MT is only getting 600 in the states.
The reason for small number is that these are hand built made in motomachi gr plant japan. To keep the quality top notch everyything i mean everything is hand checked and other is this chip and raw material shortage.
I hope next year the numbers will be high , so i can try to get one.
@@ImZiricuL that's only for the "special edition" MT. Standard MT models will be produced in much larger numbers
@@ImZiricuL I’m #2 on the list so I’m hopeful I’ll get one. I’m also lucky to have a dealer that exclusively sells for MSRP.
I hope this powertrain goes into the Corolla Cross. It would make a viable competitor to the Kona N but even better since it would come with AWD
That would be cool but I wonder if that much weight on a 3 cylinder would be to much
@@baronvonjo1929 Great point!
@@zahab210 The Kona AWD is not built for speed. Extra pulling weight of an suv on a 3 cyl would probably wear on it after some years of driving.
A friend at a recent car show was really excited about how his order for one of these. Really wish the car industry learns a lot from this car!
