I have a non shiny version with Hammer Forged, Accurized Rounds, No Distractions, Box Breathing, and Ranged Masterwork. I'd have liked to see Redrix get brought back over Hung Jury 10.0 though.
Here is a thought, I am that guy TV was teasing. But let’s look at MY stats.
I’m 65 years old ( have played since d1), have arthritis in my hands, and a couple of fingers that don’t work well at all. I play on controller. My reaction time is that of a drunk sloth so playing up close gets me destroyed. I can’t see for shit blah blah… But I love the game. Even got a MOTW emblem in D1 😊
So, I’m not offended at his vid, it made me laugh.
Now I have to go find that roll, thanks for the many years of great videos Sir.

Good on you! Just an FYI. I think this was really brought back for PVE, because it's the only weapon in the game that rolls with Kinetic Tremors in the 3rd column, so that means it will take all the damage values from the perk in the 4th column! It's on another level entirely for difficult PVE content.

Try ticuus divination. It's actually really nutty rn. I played it a lot last night and I got 3 undefeated medals and not a single game with below 40+ kills.
I've found that once you get used to the zoom on scouts, it's very easy to start playing more aggressively with them. In particular 150s can be extremely effective in mid/close range with a good high handling roll.
This weapon reminds me of the Billy Madison quote: "stay here, stay as looooong as ypu can, cherish it" haha

Have that roll on my Season 20 version, that with Omolon Fluid Dynamics, the thing is a scout rifle that thinks it's a sniper in a meta where there are few snipers to challenge it. Love this thing, and it's cool seeing an alter ego version of it with a fresh paint job and origin trait. Now if only my version could have the slightly different optics of this version...

When you started talking about the world be scary as a way to describe that roll I felt attacked 😂😂😂. I use rapid hit though. Serious note you are right, I like hung jury, but I would’ve been farming day and night if it was patron of lost causes. That was my favorite scout until they sunset it.

This is easily the most fun scout rifle I’ve ever used with this specific perk combo. The anti flinch feels so good, and hitting that 3 tap sends the S E R O T O N I N
TV is out of touch w/the game. What makes this return special is that it's the only gun to have Kinetic Tremors in the 3rd column (no other gun does) & that means that it takes all the damage values from the perk in the 4th column. I guess that's more of a PVE thing, but pvp mains have to play pve at some point.

I've really been enjoying two bursting people with Vwing. Never used it before, as in year 1 I used crimils dagger, or new city smg + fighting lion.
I got this roll from a nightfall awhile back & saved it cause it looked fun to try. TV pretty much nailed exactly how i use it.
Hanging out at the hanging tree with a Hung Jury and clapping cheeks napping in a hammock while the apes hop around like a gaggle of rabid squirrels.
I have mained the mida multi tool since d1 this is how I play and feel attacked you called me a wennie... lmao for real I played halo a ton a the scout over watch has just suited me. Good video

I’m that scout rifle guy that locks down lanes on large maps. Usually with Jade Rabbit. I haven’t found a hung jury that would replace my JR yet.
I've got the same roll on Glissando and i frickin love rolling it in Crucible. It's the only scout rifle that feels great in pvp to me.
I feel like bringing the scourge of the past sbout rifle back would have been good. I think that was the first to have this box-breathing interaction
Can you imagine if this has been No Feelings, since we're apparently not getting the rest of the black armory stuff back?

Really wish this had been the Black Armory scout from the raid. That was the OG Box Breathing scout even before Hung Jury and would have fit in with the other weapons far more thematically
1. It's a "banned weapon" (read: sunset).
2. Vaulted-raid loot (like Midnight Coup).
3. Black Armory (like Blast Furnace and Hammerhead. Though maybe this is the real reason why it wasn't chosen to come back. Maybe didn't want too many Black Armory guns reprised.)
Make no mistake kinetic tremors, Desperate measures is the all father roll once you get it going it's carnage. Not doing anything different. But you can also 3 tap with This roll and it works in ya pocket. Get a grenade kill 3 tap . Melee kill 3 tap. 3 tap continue to 3 tap change weapons get a kill and continue the 3 tap. Plus did mention kinetic tremors. You know it's good when they stop holding hands because it's that deadly
I’ve got this roll but with explosive payload instead of box breathing. Wonder if it’s similar.

I have that roll on a adept one with 500 kills on it but if i get a shiny one while going for other weapons it will be tough to decide what to keep in my vault. Keep the one that will have enhanced perks, or the one that has extra stats and can use adept mods?

The moment he mention Petrion of Lost Causes i was litterly sreaming "YESSS!!" on my screen, FINALLY a D2 Content creator that shares the same opinion on what scout they should have used and honstly? if they only picked it because it was one of the first scouts with box breahting (why that is the deciding factor i dont know and i hope it isnt) they could also gone with "No Feelings" form the Scorn of the past raid, it was the first one ever after all. But yeah, as a scout main im not hyped about it at all. i may not have one via GMs because i dont have a group to do them (F... fireteam finder, i keep getting kicked before i can say something -_-) but i sure not gonna farm for this. I rather focus on Elsies and Blast Furnes

I think the reason we got the hung jury is because this event is to catchup returning players for final thing. They wanted to give a good weapon of each style to catch them up. Needed a good scout and as boring as it is its one of the best
But but… shiny! I would’ve loved for Patron to return. I eagerly await Hammerhead coming soon.

Into the Light has gotten me excited to play D2 again when I've been apathetic since Lightfall fell flat for me.

It’s been released only once in D2.

I wish Bungie would have brought back Antiope-D and Uriels Gift from year one instead of Hung Jury and Edge Transit. It would have been a perfect list.
There is a lot I don’t love about this take but I too would have loved patron of lost cause or no feelings to come back.
They should have given us Nightwatch if they wanted a scout to be part of the brave arsenal....other iconic weapons are Duke Mk 44, Dust Rock Blues, Erantile, Last Hope,
I do love Hung Jury, don't get me wrong. But I do wish for Bungie to drop other scouts to take its place. Still miss my Patron of Lost Causes. Maybe they might bring back some other weapons from previous vaulted seasons in the Final Shape(just taking my own thoughts with a pinch of salt).
Anyway, being a "Lane Controller" isn't bad in my opinion. It helps players get to the enemies while they're softened up; like you said, or if you got the right of lane to knock them out for example when they are getting the Heavy Ammo, ...or in areas where they least expect.
I should know... I've been using weapons with long range like Hung Jury(sometimes...), Phyllotactic Spiral, Mida Multi-Tool, Jade Rabbit, Dead Man's Tale, Transfiguration, even Polaris Lance.
To me, it's not about how many kills... It's about where and how you take the enemy down.
Hung jury is gonna be a destiny 2 meme forever.
I have the same roll on a Glizzy, it's dirty but fun.
The Vanguard version of this weapon with the same rolls is objectively better because it has Omolon Fluid Dynamics and enhancing the traits only reduces activation time of both by a negligible 0.1 seconds compared to the 20 additional stability you get from OFD.

I have glissando with no distraction and box, but I'll be fine with my adagio roll on an adept jury from the past.
Yeah that thing is nice, it's also got suros synergy which further reduces flinch after a reload.
Precision instrument will do the same thing as box breathing without having to worry about aiming for a short time or resetting the perk

The reason why they brought it back was so everyone had a box breathing version. If you complete the quest you get one. That is my first drop with box breathing ever, out of all iterations so far.
Which we don't need, a scout rifle with a .67 ttk is abusrd. I wish less people had this fucking thing not more.

@@PaulyP_13 They have way too much range, I mean even Randy's can reach 75 meters and that's a rapid fire. That's almost double the range of 120's that max out at 40 meters but few can actually hit that number. Then there is high impacts that can reach 90 meters. It's absurd.

Of all the scouts they could have brought back a better option could have been uhhhhh. Man, I can't think of any other legendary d2 scouts that made any sort of splash.
Maybe it was tossed in as an omage to old Dead Orbit Hung Jury days, D1 etc, where Hung Jury was king for a while. That said, definitely agree with you and wouldve loved any other weapon

Bruh hung jury is the best scout IMO. I am happy it got shinies and new rolls - firefly/tremors is nasty. box and no distractions is sniper killer in pvp.
I would have liked to see No Feelings come back instead of Hung Jury. Still a scout, but had some uniqueness to it. Also Hush.
