I think you are still missing one gimbal. Accsoon A1s. Not many of them reviewed this and if you are interested Accsoon is looking for reviewers. You can contact them and get a loaner for your ultimate review. I ordered one for myself and should receive it today. It’s lighter and cheaper than its competitors (Ronin S and Crane 2) yet the payload and features are the same if not better. I don’t work for them but I want more competition in the market.
I am not a pro like you are but I love it (owned for only several hrs lol). I returned (did not even open it) the Ronin S but got this. No regret so far.
I am interested in the camera you shot this on, your lighting setup and how you manage to bring the shine to your face while keeping the dynamic range. I so dig the picture of this video.
What about the Feiyutech A2000 ? Like the Moza, it's also an affordable one that can come with a foldable dual handle (I bought it $450), plus, it has a design unique compared to all the others, you actually have to separate the gimbal from the handle to attach it on the dual handle, and can stand on its own in this mode without the need of a mini tripod-stand, which I think is pretty handy. Plus the load is not half bad neither, going at 2.5kg with the newest firmware. That, plus a comfy size rubber grip (not too thin nor thick, just the perfect size), and I believe you would have had an even harder time to choose which one would be your favorite toy... uuuh Gimbal ! PS : is that an X-H1 I see at 1:50 ??? Cheating on Sony again ^^ ? After the X-T20, you're getting the same Fuji cameras than me ! You got good taste ^^. Wondering what you think of the X-T3. I'm seriously thinking of getting it as an upgrade from my X-T20, and have it as my main, when the X-H1 would be my secondary.

I sold my Feiyutech a2000 beacuse of that jitters and shake i had in my outputs.I always balanced it properly but it doesn't work..It was Annoying and time consuming in POST..Now after watching ur video ive finaly deside to buy the GUDSEN Moza Air.. Can't wait to use it.. Thanks A lot.. =)
The Moza Air 2 also just came out. Just posted that review. I heard from someone else recently that their feiyu also had jitters even after trying everything to calibrate and fix it. Sorry to hear

Nikon has some really hot cameras right now with their Z6 and Z7 line up. I actually love switching things up from Sony, so being different from the sony pack is totally cool with me! Sad, i am having a big problem with the Ronin-s, it's not made for a left handed person, when you old the trigger and go down like flashlight mode, you might unlock the battery and drop the camera I have dropped 3000$ cad, I talk to DJI and they told me that they are working on an ergonomic rubber sleeve to hide the lock for now I am putting a Velcro strap but i still love it.

Nice overview. That Kylin M looks super appealing considering the current price and that rotating handle. Had I not found a Crane-M locally used ($160), I'd probably have gone with that. Maybe the next roundup on these can be about the battery chargers. That Moza Air one is crazy large, haha.
I'm torn... G2X or Ronin-S for the BMPCC4k. It not just a question of if it can handle the camera, but how nice is the thumb control to make nice cinematic movement. I got a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 drone, and they have very crappy setting to control the gimbal in a cinematic way !

Have you tried to use the Crane app with the Crane 2 or Crane Plus? It's pretty WIP (so basically almost unusable) on Android right now, which is frustrating to me because I love the gimbals themselves. I just want the stinking app to work as well!

atola visuals I have a question. I bought the Tilta and love it but I’m having a hell of a time finding a waterproof gimbal for a GoPro scenario when I’m Canyoneering and i HATE shaky footage. I bought the Removu S1 but that didn’t even make it through one Canyoneering trip lol. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Can you review the new Feiyutech Ak4000 camera gimbal? It's actually better and has more functions than Ronin S with a big touch screen menu!! Just it's app is not as good as DJI. I really hope you can review it soon as I really like how you review gimbals 😂👍

haha me too, actually. But the Android app still isn't fully implemented. I have the Samsung S9 plus and I tried the tracking focus the other day and it didn't work. I mean, don't get me wrong, the inception mode on that is cool and that works, but it's a bummer about the app. Like you said in the video though, I LOVE how moza keeps pushing out updates. #teammoza

Unfortunately, the Kylin M from Snoppa is almost impossible to obtain from anywhere. Indigogo is the only place to go to purchase it, and there are many cases of people still waiting several months with zero response from Snoppa. No updates, just silence and increasing frustrations. Based on this, I do not recommend anyone parting with their money on this product.
Now I am getting more confused. In your last video, you mentioned that Crane Plus is best for travel video, I was convinced by that. However after I watched this video, you mentioned Moza is best all around. Should I change the purchase decision? hahah T_T
atola visuals From what I read, it has an OLED screen, 45 degree motorhead, can do the infinite spin, can hold up to 8 pounds but isn’t massive, works with Apple and Android, etc. Maybe something to check out?
Battery life, first, some of us power the camera, a monitor and follow focus off of the gimbal's 18650 batteries. They won't last anywhere near 6 hours with this setup much less 18. Second and again for me, I'm trying to stuff an anamorphic lenses or just large glass on these things and the balance and size are more of an issue than payload. If it holds the weight but the rear motor smashes into the rear screen if you move it, well that's not gonna work. Third, the weight of the gimbal is definitely a factor. I agree lighter is better. Fourth the app, this is a major sore spot. The gimbal needs to work fully without the need for an app!! This is a major deal breaker as on a set or at a wedding, you simply don't have time to mess with an app whatsoever. I'm also an android user. As a GH5/GH5s user who uses full-frame glass, The DJI doesn't really have much to help me here other than start and stop. So we will have to wait for a new wireless follow focus from DJI as the current one is much more than the Ronin S. I think ATM the Ronin S is not as usable. The gimbal price, battery price, and lack of follow focus really hurts the DJI. Again many of us GH5 users don't use Panasonic glass so It's not a clear winner at all. I do like the offset motor of the DJI but again needing to buy another battery lack of included charger this brings the price up quite a bit. And who knows what the cost of the follow focus will be.

That's good cause the current DJI follow focus is on sale for $1270! I just hope The Ronin S + Follow focus + extra battery cost isn't too bad. Also, I just heard that Zhiyun has 3 new gimbals coming really soon. So you may have to do another review soon.

Decisions, decisions... I grabbed the Moza Air for $379 from B&H Deal of the Day. If it had the 45° slant and used 18650 batteries, it would be near perfect! I heard that Zhiyun will be coming out with 3 new gimbals in the fall, so maybe one of those will be THE one... I hope!
atola visuals I think they wanted to be that first one billion dollar enterprise, but they have been making sacrifices on the way and I have lost interest in the brand because I cannot take them seriously anymore. Their camera in the iPhone is definitely not as good as a Sony Alpha 6500 but the prices compare now... the processors are always being implemented in the later product cycle of Intel, yet the upgrades have insane prices and overall products fail now. The MacBook Pro keyboard was hilarious - people come for repair on a daily basis. And they confirm all their software throttling and people are happy over a cheap one time battery replacement...
They all give you smooth footage. It all depends on the operator. You can customize the smoothness settings on all of them on their apps as well to make them more or less reactive to your movements.
I've got the snoppa Kylin-M and it is plagued with issues. No matter what I do the Roll axis will not stay level. It is always tilted to one side or the other even after perfect balancing and going through the calibrations. I don't seem to be the only one with these issues. Does your snoppa have these issues?
Oh no! I dont have any tilting issues on mine. Hmm even after all the calibrations? I would write to them and see if they would send you a replacement.
atola visuals yea I’ve been in contact with Snoppa but I’ve also been in touch with a bunch of other owners who received replacements only to have the same issues with the replacement. I was looking forward to this gimbal and the carry mode... I’ve ordered a Ronin-S. I shoot with a gh5s and a c100mkii so I’d be able to balance both and be able to take advantage of the features with the gh5s.

Love my Moza Air. Wasn't a fan of using it with the 24-70 GM, but works very well with the Tamron 28-75.
I am considering this gimbal with the a7iii & 24-70 GM.. What was the issue with the setup if you dont mind me asking?

Thank you for this comparison! I currently have the Beholder DS1 which is a) pretty heavy and b) doesn't have that great of a payload. I almost feel like I want the Crane Plus for travel videos/personal projects, and the Ronin-S for professional work... any advice?!

Unfortunately, the Kylin M from Snoppa is almost impossible to obtain from anywhere. Indigogo is the only place to go to purchase it, and there are many cases of people still waiting several months with zero response from Snoppa. No updates, just silence and increasing frustrations. Based on this, I do not recommend anyone parting with their money on this product.
And many of us who finally did receive it are finding that it's almost impossible to get a usable shot with it. I regret buying it.

atola visuals From what I read, it has an OLED screen, 45 degree motorhead, can do the infinite spin, can hold up to 8 pounds but isn’t massive, works with Apple and Android, etc. Maybe something to check out?

Battery life, first, some of us power the camera, a monitor and follow focus off of the gimbal's 18650 batteries. They won't last anywhere near 6 hours with this setup much less 18. Second and again for me, I'm trying to stuff an anamorphic lenses or just large glass on these things and the balance and size are more of an issue than payload. If it holds the weight but the rear motor smashes into the rear screen if you move it, well that's not gonna work. Third, the weight of the gimbal is definitely a factor. I agree lighter is better. Fourth the app, this is a major sore spot. The gimbal needs to work fully without the need for an app!! This is a major deal breaker as on a set or at a wedding, you simply don't have time to mess with an app whatsoever. I'm also an android user. As a GH5/GH5s user who uses full-frame glass, The DJI doesn't really have much to help me here other than start and stop. So we will have to wait for a new wireless follow focus from DJI as the current one is much more than the Ronin S. I think ATM the Ronin S is not as usable. The gimbal price, battery price, and lack of follow focus really hurts the DJI. Again many of us GH5 users don't use Panasonic glass so It's not a clear winner at all. I do like the offset motor of the DJI but again needing to buy another battery lack of included charger this brings the price up quite a bit. And who knows what the cost of the follow focus will be.

That's good cause the current DJI follow focus is on sale for $1270! I just hope The Ronin S + Follow focus + extra battery cost isn't too bad. Also, I just heard that Zhiyun has 3 new gimbals coming really soon. So you may have to do another review soon.

Decisions, decisions... I grabbed the Moza Air for $379 from B&H Deal of the Day. If it had the 45° slant and used 18650 batteries, it would be near perfect! I heard that Zhiyun will be coming out with 3 new gimbals in the fall, so maybe one of those will be THE one... I hope!

atola visuals I think they wanted to be that first one billion dollar enterprise, but they have been making sacrifices on the way and I have lost interest in the brand because I cannot take them seriously anymore. Their camera in the iPhone is definitely not as good as a Sony Alpha 6500 but the prices compare now... the processors are always being implemented in the later product cycle of Intel, yet the upgrades have insane prices and overall products fail now. The MacBook Pro keyboard was hilarious - people come for repair on a daily basis. And they confirm all their software throttling and people are happy over a cheap one time battery replacement...

You really made no mention about which ones give you the most smooth video and that's the most important thing about a stabilizer.
They all give you smooth footage. It all depends on the operator. You can customize the smoothness settings on all of them on their apps as well to make them more or less reactive to your movements.

I've got the snoppa Kylin-M and it is plagued with issues. No matter what I do the Roll axis will not stay level. It is always tilted to one side or the other even after perfect balancing and going through the calibrations. I don't seem to be the only one with these issues. Does your snoppa have these issues?
Oh no! I dont have any tilting issues on mine. Hmm even after all the calibrations? I would write to them and see if they would send you a replacement.
atola visuals yea I’ve been in contact with Snoppa but I’ve also been in touch with a bunch of other owners who received replacements only to have the same issues with the replacement. I was looking forward to this gimbal and the carry mode... I’ve ordered a Ronin-S. I shoot with a gh5s and a c100mkii so I’d be able to balance both and be able to take advantage of the features with the gh5s.
