@d R Excellent points, Not all but too many farmers are an example. They work dam hard doing an essential job providing food products but too many treat their animals badly or physically abused. Many farms are dirty broken down mickey moused operations with many man made hazards that the animals are exposed to. Often you see or hear of animals cut open badly because of neglected broken metal gates, fences and barriers or large nails, metal spikes stupidly left sticking out where animal are held or moved. Tools, wire , even tractor implements left laying around where the animals are. Poor lighting and poor to no weather protection and overall lack of cleaning. I have heard the arguments that’s the farm life there is no time or little money. If that was 100% true then why are some especially larger farms drastically better in all ways including the actual hands on touch and care.

Taco, I fully understand your connection to the crows. Science says that they are the most intelligent of birds, like their raven cousins and other Corvid species. Corvids like to share with humans once a bond is formed. They will bring you anything that they like. I have been feeding crows for a long while and the Jays that often hang around with them. They know who you are and what you have for them. Their flocks are called "Murders" - don't know why! My joy is when they see me and call to each other, "come on gang, let's see what she's got today!" Enjoy your friends and the joys that you find in one another. 😊

Hence why I stated she is possibly an American Bulldog MIX. Scott types have always had APBT in them. They are not however a bull & terrier breed as they have a different morphology, behavioural charecteristics and use. Colton may have a little curr in her as these dogs often lived and hunted alongside. What I see is a lot of old world mastiff traits being expressed. I have had several boxer mixes (with APBT, Weimarhaner, Labrador) and currently have a Scott/APBT/Spanish Mastiff mix and a boxer (both females).
This dog is so much like my last dog. Same breed, same markings. He was an excellent judge of character, a discerning one where he would only use his power rarely and it was always justified. He measured it too. So gentle with innocent ones. He raised his growl only twice in his 8 years of life, once against an out-of-line aggressive dog, and once against a child molester. I miss him.
