Good video, thanks Dan. I had 3 bad throttle position sensors from 2 different stores all in the same day. I really thought I was going crazy because no way could I get 3 bad units in a row. Nope the 4th unit worked.
Good video Dan, very informative channel, I tend to watch your videos about all of your wheelchairs, only because I might have a go at mine one day, I've got an invacare storm 4 xplore and a strange problem with the joystick not sure if it's a calibration issue but the right motor brake sometimes doesn't work unless you pull back the joystick then it's fine, I'm located in the UK 🇬🇧. Anyway thanks for another good video, a big thumbs up from me 👍
45:20 is that hearing pro hanging in the back vent window? You get out and get some pew pew action? I’m lucky and can got right off my back porch and I have a few steel targets I go after a few times a week. I’m glad it’s something I can still do.
Other than gas smell and failed emissions compliance, can evap issues cause any serious problems? The promaster has new gas cap and passed a dealership smoke test, but still sets evap/gas cap trouble codes and smells like gas while idling..
escaping hydrocarbon vapors always have 'risks'... other than that though, not necessarily a HUGE issue. but on a lot of vehicles set codes can/will disable other systems on the vehicle, or do other things, like blast the cooling fans at full speed, or lockout certain functionality any idea what codes are being set on yours?
BTW proper smoke testing takes a lot of steps.. a lot of times they just connect up and look for leaks, without actuating the purge valves and vents with a scanner to verify they are ACTUALLY working.. purge/vent solenoids are notoriously bad these days for failing right outta the box as well..
those codes lead me to believe there might a sticking purge valve.. but with proper smoke testing, could easily be verified - also the gas cap code can be set by the filler neck coming loose - esp if the van has been modified at all. neither of those codes are particularly difficult to track down for a shop that knows whats up - and the promaster vans have a TON of underbody space for poking around at stuff :^)
I don't suffer from OCD. I enjoy every minute of it.
U do awesome job Dan love all videos u done since i found you on RUclips
I like these random videos!👌

guys dont forget to like the video :D
The roof of the van looks lower than your head in the video. Do you have to duck your head as you get in the van?

Obligatory comment for the algorithm.
