@@themaestro5946this is the DUMBEST thing I’ve ever heard. People act like marriage is the “start” of something big and I think that is the incorrect way of looking at it. It should be looked at as the moment a couple decides that they want what they have forever. It’s like renting a house and then eventually deciding to buy it because you love the house so much and never want to leave. This idea that you shouldn’t live with your partner or sleep with your partner or do x, y & x for you partner before marriage- it’s all dumb.
A relationship changes drastically once you start living together. And that’s a good thing. If moving in together easily destroys your relationship- it’s either not the right relationship or not the right timing. I don’t know, if you are really deeply in love with someone- living together will not destroy your relationship. My boyfriend does sh*t CONSTANTLY around the house that should annoy the f*ck out of me but when you love someone- their annoying habits become endearing ones. If your boyfriend leaving his shoes on the floor or not putting his glasses on a coaster or leaving dirty socks in the bathroom is enough to ruin your entire relationship- were you in a real one anyway? Obviously there’s a such thing as too soon but still- moving in together before marriage is very healthy and is actually quite beneficial to the health and wellbeing of a marriage. The last thing you want are big surprises about your partner AFTER marriage
