  • Since his young years as a student leader in anti-Apartheid movement in his native South Africa, Graeme Simpson, has advocated for justice, and in many forms. Today Mr. Simpson teaches law at Columbia University School in New York City. I’ve had an opportunity to discuss with him about matters of transitional justice, and its significance in a post-genocide context. His take on Gacaca traditional tribunals in Rwanda, and other innovative approaches that have been experimented in different countries to deliver justice, was quite insightful.
