-Hey, y’all 👋🏼 Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out this week’s extra little video. I decided to go ahead and sit down to haul all the books I got at the end of last year. While I will still be subscribed to Fairyloot and Illumicrate to get a new release each month, I’ve really found myself prioritizing whatever my library is getting in! I wanted to haul this last group of books for old times sake, but I do think our hauls may go on a yearly basis versus quarterly at this point. If you haven’t you need to read all the novellas between the rest of the shatter me books you haven’t read yet. It gives you more insight to other characters that you may not know much about! They are so good! The whole series is amazing though!

Also….i like the cover chosen by Fairyloot for the Fragile Enchantment book😅🤣yes it’s a choice but the reverse dust jacket was a copy of the print that comes in the box and I found it ok lol
I just finished the Daevebad series and I loved it so much! Now I'm reading The River of Silver. It's stories after the trilogy.

I go to my library every week, I have done since 2018 and I’m always bringing random books that I have no idea what there about home coz I’ve seen booktubers say they like them or coz I liked the cover. I still buy books a lot thought even though I have loads on my physical TBR these include books I bought coz the author is an instant buy or because I’ve heard good things about it, coz I liked the cover or coz there from book boxes lol

Those books are gorgeous. I hope the contents inside are as satisfying as the exteriors. I think if you give up a Fairyloot box, you can feel OK about getting a new one? In any case, an unhaul of unloved books in exchange is a fair way to deal with new books IMO. / justification of book acquisition with a smile

I've been utilizing my library more and been more intentional with my book buying after my last giant unhaul I did (around 60 books) but I donated them to my local library who has a tiny bookstore thats super cute. So I get where you're coming from and im currently reading The Trials of Apollo by Rick Riodan as my first book for spring and Im planning on reading The Song of Achilles afterwards.

I’m trying to get into using my library more AND reading my massive owned TBR. It’s so hard 😂 I get so hyped by my friends n I want to buy everything but I’ve gotten much better.

I have a lot of great books, but none would be considered beautiful, ....no special editions, no sprayed edges, etc. I have a small room with shelves for my books but no one sees it but me 🤷♀️ About 40% are used copies. Fun to see the pretty books, but my extra goes into fostering senior dogs. It would be different if I had a RUclips channel. Great video as usual. Jakes #1 fan 💐

🐕 loved watching the haul, I prefer to read books or at least parts of it before buying it too, just helps in keeping a collection I really like. Devabaad trilogy is my favourite too. ❤

I read the original shatter me trilogy when they first came out and I've always been curious about the next 3 books. But in my mind that series ended after the 3rd book and I can't unthink that 😂. Super pretty editions you got though!

You sound like me. I go to my library every 2-3 weeks and I have stacks (and I mean that literally) at home that I have bought that I should be reading but nope....I just keep going to the library and checking out more books.
