You are like the second or third person I have heard talk about the Lightlark duology so I will have to put that on my tbr for later. I tried the Caraval series but I couldn't get into it but her writing is definitely great so I get the hype for the series. Great selection and hope you enjoy.
I've been seeing Lightlark all over the place now too! I need to hurry up and read it before my expectations get too high 😋 And I haven't read anything by Stephanie Garber yet, so hopefully I like her writing...now that I've basically bought all her books😅😂

The last hour trilogy by Cassandra Clare is (in my opinion) Amazing!!! If you really like that series I recommend The Infernal Devices, because it from the POV of their parents.
I definitely plan to read The Infernal Devices! According to her website, the timeline order is to read that before The Last Hours (which I didn't know before I bought that entire trilogy 🥴 lol), so I want to get the other series too, so I can FINALLY read something from her! 📚✨

I’m so excited you got the Caraval and the Once Upon a Broken Heart series! I absolutely love them. Still need to read A Curse for True Love but I plan on reading it in December. Also so glad you got the Serpent & Dove series. I read the first two and gave them both 5 stars. Still need to read Gods & Monsters. That edition of The Cruel Prince is stunning! Love it. The series is so good too.
I've heard so many good things about Stephanie Garbers writing, so I'm excited to get into them! But the Serpent & Dove series is probably next on my list. I want to finish that before the year is up. And yes! The Cruel Prince was such a good series!! I was planning on getting the hardcovers at some point, so I'm happy they came out with the special edition 😍📚✨

I saw the cruel prince special collectors edition on book outlet but then it sold out a couple days later😢 and it was wayyyy cheaper, I think $15 or less

Hello I highly recommend you read Casandra Clair’s other series before reading ( the last hours series) chain of gold and chain of iron and chain of thorns the other series is the infernal devices book 1: Clockwork Angel book2: clockwork prince Book:3 clockwork princess. I say this Because the two series are linked together. 🥰

Oh no so sry they ruined ur Lightlark dust jacket, I had that happen to one of my books from amazon before and I requested a replacement and the replacement came in perfect condition so u can definitely exchange it. Amazon tends to just shove the books into rly tight boxes 🙄
It was a very odd packaging choice for sure 🙄 but I’ve definitely gotten worse from Amazon, so I’m not too worried about it. Luckily, the actual hardcover is so pretty I’ll probably end up taking the dust jacket off anyway 😋
I’m not sure if you are aware, just in case you are not but the Cassandra Clare books are like a multiverse, so you should read the series mostly in order so that you don’t get confused the first series in the shadow hunters verse is the mortal instruments series, then the infernal devices, the dark artifices and then the last hours series 🫶
