The virtualkeyboard takes a bit of getting used to but it is definitely usable and kind of cool to just type on a virtual keyboard as opposed to a physical one.
Another super cool feature I liked with the virtual keyboard is the ability to customize the keyboards layout and theme as well as integrating pictures into the keyboard.
So a picture of your wife and kids could look like a screensaver underneath your virtual keyboard ....very cool.

One thing I find I use my laptop for a lot as a laptop is taking it into meetings. I think this form factor needs an option that would be a good fit for sitting down at a table with a bunch of other people where do you have to look over the monitor. Even a traditional laptop often in that scenario you have to tilt the screen way forward so that you can look people in the eye across from you.

    • @Mr_Ebuh

in the early versions of this product (so probably in the full release too) you could bend the screen toward each other like every other laptop that has a tent tablet mode. then you'd have 1 screen facing you and another facing the other way. this could also be used for presentations as you could control the screen facing the audience on the screen facing you.

I think it's cool but a little too much for my needs. I don't see myself using this on a plane or even a coffee shop. Seems more like it belongs in 2 screen form on my desktop and regular laptop mode everywhere else. In that case I would just get a second monitor. Instead for $690 I purchased the ZenBook duo and I love it. Two screens all the time while still keeping a usable laptop form factor. Having a second screen is fantastic but I don't need a second full screen. But I can see how this could be perfect for some.

That’s what I was hoping for. It’ll come eventually. The tech is there. I’ve gotten so used to typing on my iPad keyboard quickly, it’s muscle memory. Unless I’m gaming, I need a physical keyboard. But a digital keyboard with haptic would be perfect, a learning curve for most but I can already type on a digital keyboard with no eyes super quickly. I am a bit of a sucker for 'innovative' tech. I got the original Yoga Book, which was woefully underpowered and tried to avoid the successor, the c930 until they had a big sale on it. The tap to open function never worked (and when I sent it in for repair, they cracked on corner of the bottom e-ink glass cover). I'd been sitting on my hands for this one as well even though it seemed to be the Couriert that Microsoft never made. Limited supply at Best Buy and a ludicrous 50% premium when buying at my home location helped me avoid it. However last week, supplies seem to become less of a problem and in fact, a nice healthy discount at home made it even cheaper than Best Buy (which would have involved getting a friend in the US to get it, pay unnecesarily for state taxes and then have to contend with a less than international warranty). I upgraded mine to 1TB, paid 12cents for the mouse and am waiting for delivery.

Well it took about 17 years of laptops being in existence before we got a trackpad, it took 10 more years to get the trackpad right, and no laptop had a decent screen for the first almost 40 years they were a product, as a matter of fact laptops wasn't until 2005 30 years after the first laptop was made that laptops out sold desktops. Besides the tablet this is the first new form factor for a laptop since the Mac Powerbook 500 in 1994. Think of how many years it took the iPad to figure out how to be a laptop. This thing's in the beginning it'll take a while to sort out.

I like the 4k version of the lenovo laptop but I wish there was an option for mini led since most laptop displays are too dim. Every device that I use with an oled display already have burn in issues, its why I prefer to have mini led due to its high brightness and no burn in issues. My sony xperia 1 iv android phone with it's 120 hz oled display already has burn in but luckily the display has not lost its display brightness over time like my pixel 4a 5g since my pixel 4a 5g has burn in and it's display brightness got dimmer over time. My 2022 razer with it's 4k 144 hz ips display is too dim, samsung chromebook with it's 4k super amoled display is too dim. My sony phone is brighter than my gaming laptop and chromebook.

@@PSYCHOV3N0M I only game in native 4k with hdr and ray tracing otherwise just native 4k with hdr if the games don't support ray tracing, that's why I use windows plus windows 11 supports android apps and I use both windows and android. Most of the free games that I got from epic games were free during the free games give away from epic games. Some of the games for free from epic games are triple a titles. Only certain games support ray tracing. There are games that I play that don't support ray tracing like halo infinite and grand theft auto 5. I have a mixed library of games that support ray tracing and games that don't support ray tracing. I don't like mac os and I don't like macbooks plus I want upgradeable components not soldered components especially when the ssds fail since the ssd is soldered to the motherboard. Ssds can fail at any time like standard hard drives even though ssds are more durable and faster than standard hard drives. Msi created a laptop called the msi creator 17 with the 2070 max q gpu and 4k mini led display with 1,000 nits that best buy used to sell in stores. I use media monkey to sync my music library and playlist with my android devices to my micro sd cards and media monkey is only available for windows since there is no media monkey for mac os since mac os relies on iTunes. I used iTunes and I never liked iTunes plus iTunes does not support flac even though flac is free and open source. Apple uses alac which is the same thing is flac but apple wants to have there own version and I tried to open alac on my android devices and alac won't open since the files needed to be converted to other audio files like flac, wav etc. plus flac is supported on more services like plex amp. I have my music stored locally on my micro sd cards when I ripped my cds since I don't stream my music and I still buy cds. I still have my old msi laptop with a dvd drive that I use to rip my music and 4k iso files from an external 4k disc drive with older firmware that was removed on newer firmware that supports ripping 4k, blu and dvd discs. I save my 4k, blu ray and dvd movies to my micro sd card to watch offline and I use the headphone jack on my sony phone when I commute by bus with my sennheiser hd 600 connected to my phone to watch my 4k movies and other movies that I have saved to my micro sd cards. I don't pay for any streaming services since I own what I paid for compared to any streaming services. I don't use apple products since they are proprietary and I don't wanna be locked down to there ecosystem and I don't care about ecosystems since I use devices from a variety of brands. I don't wanna be locked down to any ecosystem since most of the manufacturers want to lock there customers to there ecosystems and it limits the choice with the products and services that I use. I do things my own way not the way the manufacturers want there consumers to do things. I don't like windows 11 but I only use windows because of the reasons that I have already explained. I really liked windows xp and windows 7. I never liked windows 8.1. because the start menu was removed and I got confused on how to operate windows 8.1 plus I don't like the tiles interface and I dont like windows 11 since it looks like mac os and windows 11 already messes up the option to use drag and files that I was able to do on windows 10 and windows 11 requires extra steps to do basic stuff since the menus are hidden and it took me a while to figure that out. I prefer to use windows 10 over windows 8.1 and windows 11. When I had a windows vista, it was too slow so I ran linux ubuntu instead but I could never get the nvidia drivers to work properly. I tried mac os and I got confused on how to use mac os and it took me a while that I have to drag and drop the programs that I downloaded since it has to be done manually in a certain way and not automatic like windows. After I finished downloading a 3rd party app from windows that is outside the windows app store, there is a pop up and it ask me where to save it to and I would save it to a destination that is easy to find. Mac os never had these pop up with these options since have to be done manually in certain ways that I never got used to plus I'm still confused on how to use the task manager on mac os compared to control, alt and delete to access task manager on windows. I grew up using windows since windows 95 with using dial up and even using ms-dos. I even have floppy disks. I have a mixture of products that are old and outdated because they still work and a mixture of new products but less functional compared to there older counterparts.
