Really good tip for stripper fishing is fish in front of you instead of throwing the line out so far but take it to the bottom and 3 cranks up works good I catch a lot

Big Macs actually work great for striper at least down here in Massachusetts I’ve caught a solid 40 pounder on Mac’s larger than those and smaller fish as well on similar size Mac’s
Whoever made the striper limit definitely watches football 😂 28-35 looks more like a football game then a striper range
I admire the fun they have no matter how big or small the adventure is but what I really notice is that they pray. Both of them are very respectful individuals and I always enjoy watching the catch n cook vids they put out 👍🏻

Man this was a fun video. Two men happy to be alive fishing together, so cool Ace. Please make a video at the bass pro pond in Bristol one day. Not your spot for catch and cook as you can’t keep any but dude they feed the fish every day and you’ll catch the largest bluegill you’ve ever seen in your life and some massive bass if you use minnows. Turtles, catfish. Very cool spot. Please fish there one day.

The biggest cause to tough squid in restaurants is over cooking. But fresh squid is more forgiving. I definitely miss squid fishing may need to target them this fall here in ri

Such a great way to end a Sunday evening, by watching such an entertaining video. I really learned a lot. Zach has some serious knife skills. Ya can tell it's not his first time prepping food. You both compliment each others' personality. You both should consider teaming up on more videos. I believe they would be a huge success. God bless.

Nice job on the squid, they looked delicious. I grew cleaning and eating fresh squid. It really is so much tastier when its fresh. Another delicious way to eat it is to stuff it with stuffing, basically the same mixture you would use to stuff a turkey, then bake it. I also like to brush it was a bbq glaze for some extra flavor. 👩🍳 It's amazing.
Food for thought those 2 long tentacles the squid use for reproduction they store spunk in the long ones. Most peeps chop the long ones off. But hey I'm not judging 😂

huge fan of ace and micah and ancient but never heard of zach fowler BUT am i ever impressed not only can the dude fish but he grows his own fresh vegetables but he can cook like hes on the food network too .. him and ace are a perfect pair for youtube

Calamari is my absolute favorite, and both dishes looked amazing!
Try the squid Cantonese style. It's quickly blanched, dried off, lightly powdered in cornstarch, fried then sauteed in a pan with minced onion, minced scallion, minced chili peppers, minced garlic, salt, white pepper.

The best way to each raw squid is to eat it with lemon salt and soy sauce
Also the reason the squid didn’t smell is because it was fresh

Freezing along with over cooking squid makes them tough. They only require a quick flash fry. Squid either has to be cooked very fast, or very long for it to be tender. No in between.

Mabye thats a big "makrel" in the states but here in denmark they get lot bigger. The biggest one is on 60 cm 3-1 kilo(6,6lbs)
