At first , being the "ace" railhead that I am , I cudnt for the life of me tell the diff between a 37 and a 40 but now even though they may look similar , Ive looked at the vents on the bodies so now Ive found it easy
The 08 shunting is a sound I miss Used to be all over doing work like that in yards and stations It was a great day for EE in Cree but looking at the comments seems it was not so good for D213. Hopefully a minor incident and soon given the all clear to run again.
@@philclarke3203 I knew about Royal Scot but not about the 40 going along. Hope you can get to see them. Hopefully Royal Scot will be back in a few years fitted with all the new equipment they will need Also I saw on a video here that from Jan 1st Crewe signalling is now done from Manchester ROC
@@cedarcam I'm hoping so too! Should be working after doing nothing all last week, due to the snow! Probably the same on Monday ,so Royal Scot will win! Yes the Crewe resignalling stopped me getting to the winter Diesel event.

Yes always great seeing the 08s working, I love all the smaller shunters too, 01 to 07s. The 40 came back yesterday, so can't have been too bad
@@philclarke3203 Me too and good to know the 40 retuned OK
@@cedarcam yes and off to Holyhead on Monday with 46100 Royal Scot. Final run before being withdrawn. Don't know if you had heard about it.
