Interesting to hear what he said about EDS. I don't have that exact diagnosis, but I'm borderline with extreme flexibility, even at age 76, plus problems with an unstabile SI joint. Too much flexibility is not a good thing and doesn't necessarily prevent joint pain. Somewhere I read that estrogen can aggravate SI joint laxity, but I have no plans ti ditch my HRT. However, it does make me wonder how this might all trace back to copper, especially since I was always surprised when years ago my nutritionist prescribed copper supplements based on my hair analysis.
Great video! But my comment is totally off-topic. I was surprised to hear Dr Doug say that frozen shoulders don't get better. Might that depend on how early treatment is started for the problem? I had a diagnosed frozen shoulder years ago from a repetitive stress posture at my computer work. My shoulder was so sensitive I couldn't even tolerate the shoulder enclosure for an MRI. I went to an orthopedist, who gave me one cortisone shot in the shoulder, plus he told me to do a simple but somewhat difficult exercise of slowly raising my arm against a wall. I did this faithfully for a while, til I no longer had pain or limitation. Since then I can reach high shelves with no problem and bring my shoulders back against a wall normally. The only time I notice a very tiny difference in that arm is when I have to lie on an exam table with both arms stretched above my head for a long time. I think I used moist heat as part of the treatment as well, but I can't recall for sure. Just my two cents that a frozen shoulder might not be hopeless. 😊
Very interesting and timely for me. I am scheduled for another round of iron infusion on Wednesday, due to low ferritin. I am thinking of canceling until I can do some more research. How much copper do you recommend to start with.

one of the saddest modern trends is the hatred of salt. many times people start intensive jobs, or start working out, and they slowly get fatigued simply because they aren't getting enough salt. It's painful to see generations of wisdom get thrown out.
This is one of the most insightful conversations about health I've come across . Morley's knowledge about copper and mineral balance is truly IMPRESSIVE. I'm excited to dive into part 2! Thanks for this amazing video!. 🫂🫂🫂
You don't need that thick of a book to tell people that it all comes down to a lack of copper. There are so many experts telling us it all comes down to this one thing then they start telling you to do this and do that in addition to this one thing. I have heard it and bought into so many times over the years and I am broke and weary from it all. I really wish there was a magic bullet.

I get that though past doesn’t really affect what’s true now. A hundred people could sell a fix and be wrong and the hundred and first could be right. One doesn’t decide the other. That applies in all things really. It’s hard but you use it as more info to give a bigger picture and don’t place bets just force the thing to prove itself and challenge it.

OK I'm shocked! I did a dexa scan yesterday and my results are Lumbar spine (L1-L4): T score value is -1.3. Left hip: T score value is -0.7 Right hip: T score value is -1.0 I was thinking for sure I had osteoporosis, but I have very mild osteopenia in my spine only. Which is where all these old fractures that won't heal are. The doctors say their Old fractures. Could it be non- union fractures? And if so I'm thinking of wearing a bone growth stimulater and maybe get into a back brace? This really is a whole lifestyle change.

If it’s in your spine it’s in your skull too - get on liquid minerals and algeaCal you can reverse this easily. My dexa was horrible and I rebuilt remineralized my bones w raw materials and am good now. I stopped HRT!! That was key to my healing.
on a different video - he says that copper and zinc are on a seesaw - maybe he didn't say those words but he described that more copper intake forces less uptake of zinc and vice versa -
I'm on HRT, so of course my ears pricked up when that was mentioned 😮 I'm none the wiser about what I should do to rebalance my copper levels. It's unlikely I'll be able to get my 'copper IQ ' tested. I need to know what the solutions are, eg what supplements, what particular foods. Thank you you 😊xx PS, I'm in the UK, glyphosate is used here.

I've listened to two videos and hours of arguments about this iron vs copper between these two men, but I still don't hear anything about how to correct any health problem. Madness! I can only guess, from what I've heard, that a deficiency of copper is responsible for fatigue and aging and the solution is to ingest more copper? But how exactly? Let me inform you two doctors that if you have a hypothesis, you should first define it clearly, then test it and then report the results in a practical and intelligible way. I don't see that here - I don't see anything that a person can use to improve their health or remedy the problems of aging or fatigue. Useless!
Sorry, I'm not resonating with this one. Something feels a little "off" about this and his presentation of it. I listened to another podcast with him to get further info. I then went to Amazon and read the 1 and 2 star reviews of his book - esp the one from a homeopath and another who's health declined after following the protocol for 1.5 years. There's also mention of lack of scientific references in the book and poor editing. May work for some but it's probably not a magic bullet for healing.
That really doesn’t prove anything also vibing is not evidence. There are bad reviews on everything that exists, there is such a thing as user error as in they can do it wrong or you can vs it’s just wrong, and I have seen no evidence that there is not even he tried just saying that and not providing even one source or reference. Why do people think because someone siad they did it that they actually did it or they did it correctly? Why would they be so trustworthy these random strangers but Morley doesn’t vibe with you? Many struggle to even organize their house or their finances but you think if they say they did a health protocol they nailed it really well and definitely did it right? Also why do none of you have evidence besides ‘it seems weird, some people didn’t like it, it doesn’t vibe with me.’ If that means it’d wrong then all things are wrong. And magic bullet depends on what you mean, it could be a significant factor yes that effects many people yes.
All of that could just not be true. Those people could have made it up or not done the program right they could be wrong about no evidence and there could be a ton they could feel the editing is bad but it may not be true it just seems that way to them. So many possibilities. It’s mostly like saying nothing if there’s no evidence, which he right now has more of compared to them.
So you are convinced that his book has a lack of scientific reference even though you didn’t read it yourself? Lol Guess that’s the kind of logical reasoning you get from someone who goes off of “vibes and feelings” lol
Peer Rev’d Research ⁉️you must be kidding don’t you know that PR’d research is, almost always, “bought & paid for” …. this man is outside bureaucracy … he is a gift to humanity.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for this! Great info
Glad you enjoyed it!
I appreciate you sharing this, that is definitely something to think about!
Great interview!! Thank you.

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! Eye opening info! Thank you!

I love Morley
He is a very intelligent man!

He writes that thicker book for tensile who want backfired and does a smaller pdf for those who want basics.

Should I be concerned, have osteoporosis, menopausal, was anemic am on a natural iron supplement to raise ferritin ,I noticed that the Bone Up supplement I take has copper(as copper gluconate ) is this helpful with regulating the iron?

If mentioned in the video and I missed it, I do apologize. My question is, where should we get our extra copper? What foods does he recommend, and should we be taking a copper supplement?

OK I'm shocked! I did a dexa scan yesterday and my results are Lumbar spine (L1-L4): T score value is -1.3.
Left hip: T score value is -0.7
Right hip: T score value is -1.0
I was thinking for sure I had osteoporosis, but I have very mild osteopenia in my spine only.

I'm on HRT, so of course my ears pricked up when that was mentioned 😮
I'm none the wiser about what I should do to rebalance my copper levels. It's unlikely I'll be able to get my 'copper IQ ' tested. I need to know what the solutions are, eg what supplements, what particular foods. Thank you you 😊xx

Hemochromatosis ?
Hopefully they have checked your fasting transferrin saturations ...it can be an inflammatory response so may not reflect a problem with iron...yes hemochromatosis although carrier of the gene is more common and can be tested for if indicated ... Hope that helps and all the best

With a deficiency of Ferritin and B12 my doctor told me to eat more meat and buy iron supplement and to use it every day.
Of course that didn’t help at all so I began to look for alternatives and try to understand what’s going on with my body.
Started taking copper bisglycinate 2mg/capsule 1-2 capsules per day. Also magnesium and L-tryptophan before bedtime.
Slowly I started to function again and get better sleep.

My iron levels were normal but ferritin was low so doctor put me on iron and I felt better. Why would this be if ferritin isn’t the problem?
He said iron can make you feel better for a while as it can raise hemoglobin. There’s also active vs not active ferritin and testing and getting a clear picture I think is complicated they’ve said.

Hi! We have keynotes in our description. They will take you directly to the conclusion :)
Copper Bisglyclinate good bioavailability... the sweet spot is between 2-6 mg a day.
I wonder how this relates to Jane McClelland's How to Starve Cancer . . . And Then Kill it with Ferroptosis. I have a feeling this is all related.

Low Iron in the tissues/High Iron in the serum good...High Copper in the tissues/Low Copper in serum good.

Interesting!
Useless!
Hi! Thank you for sharing your opinion. I highly advise reviewing this video again, it is a lot of information to retain.
No- doctors are not well trained , they think in compatments , not holistic - balance oand coop in the body

We have two more videos coming out on this topic, hopefully they can provide further clarity. Thank you for your feedback!
Not sure about this guest, Dr Doug. Perhaps you can present some peer reviewed research that backs up his conclusions and claims.
We have more videos coming on this topic! Stay tuned, they may provide further clarity for you.
I agree, I'm not clear of the relationship between iron & copper.

Too much too complicated, needs to be parsed out more to make it clearer. General statements like HRT not helpful is too vague.... which hormones and which applications and why exactly... just saying.
