    thank you for contributing to the repertoire of healthy recipes online! I have some "technical" qns: how big is your glass pan, and if I sub almond meal for whole wheat flour, how long do I have to bake the crust be4 I add the choco pudding?

  • @donnaniles3832

    LOVE THIS. I can use all natural peanut butter in place of the cashews and have a peanut butter pie!!! (I like it better w/o the cocoa in the 'crust'. You could even substitute pumpkin for the holiday! YUMMM!

      You could just use cashews. It will be really rich and it will be more firm❤️

    Jill - How many ounces in the tofu carton? Do you soak the cashews? Is that unsweetened shredded coconut from the baking isle, because those pieces look larger than shredded pieces? I plan to make this for a Christmas potluck, but will make a few "rehearsal" pies first :-)

    • @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow
      @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow  7 лет назад

      Generic
      Hello Generic,
      It is a 14 oz container of tofu, I don’t soak the cashews( you might have to if you have a standard blender), and the coconut is unsweetened. It would just as well with the smaller shreds. Hope you like it 🤗

    Hello, I became a vegan a few months ago, but have been avoiding soy because of its "estrogen-like compounds called isoflavones". Do you know of any soy-free tofus? Would really love to try your recipes, but several of them have tofu. Thank you.

      You can use soaked nuts like cashews or almonds in the dessert recipes.
      This is what I know about soy
