- In this video guide, I share with you an island in the Western Caribbean off of the coast of Honduras called Utila. Learn things to do in Utila and get an introduction to the blissfulness that can be found in Utila Honduras. Where is it? Its just a ferry ride away from Roatan or La Ceiba Honduras.
Utila is not well known compared to most other tropical destinations and a place with a unique charm. Another little slice of heaven you can find on earth.
I've visited Utila's neighboring island of Roatan many times, but this was my first time in Utila. So glad I went. The vibes and the down to earth nature of the people is what won me over, in addition to its natural beauty and calm waters perfect for snorkeling and diving.
In Utila Honduras, you'll find a little slice of paradise at a beautiful hotel located by Neptunes Restaurant called Coral Beach Villiage. Many visit Neptunes for just a day but few know you can rent one of their cottages/bungalows on the property. I really enjoyed my stay and it was perfect for someone who wants to be by the water, snorkel or lounge in a slice of paradise! It was such a relaxing stay.

Hi there. So sorry just seeing this comment! Utila is a good place for a solo girl alone. Do you like to dive? A lot of the people who take the diving courses seem to make friends with other people in their dive groups. I would recommend staying close to the center of town and there are plenty of dive shops there.
