Were u using down riggers or just flat lining plugs with a weight? Ive caught some decent fish from diamond flat lining rapalas but not as productive as the video i just watched lol...Great job man...this is my local area southern oregon...i bomb central oregon pretty hard but diamond has a bit to offer these days
@@Fishnmoreoutdoors Yes the deepest area as u know is that side u were on..got a beautiful rainbow there last july in 10' ft of water closer to the east side of the lake.Whole lakes pretty shallow...high grass. My wife will cast a gold cleo straight behind the boat while im trolling..no ryhme or reason to it and she just drags them in hahaha.
@@charleshill9835 for shallow stuff like that I am only using a small 6 ib that is what I use for shallow Kokanee also. I use a 10 ib ball for my deeper and faster speed trolling. Anything heavier than that is miserable on manual downriggers IMHO. Thanks.
One of my favorite lakes for icefishing. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thanks for watching! I have a bunch of ice fishing videos, but they aren’t on Diamond.
You guys tore em' up. Congrats! Great video too.
Thanks!!
Awesome man!
Thanks!
If you don't mind sharing, what were you guys running with? Rapala's?
No Rapalas. Lyman lures and mag lips.
👍👍👍
Thanks!

A little of both. Deepest running lures were in the 20-30 ft range most fish were caught in the top 15 ft.
Maybe I’ll see you on the water.

@Fishnmoreoutdoors thank you for your reply! I'll be headed there on Saturday for a week. Hoping to get my grandpa on some fish.
Tight lines.
What speed you like to troll those Lymans at?
1.5-2.5. 1.5-2 for lake trout 1.8-2.5 for rainbows, browns, and bull trout.
Are you fishing the 2” Lyman?
We fished 2 and 4 inch that day. Also caught some on a frog maglip.
