I confirm it is NOT WORKING. The wallet font become even larger and obvious. I hate it!
AND THIS IS HOW TO FIX:
1. Open Steam tab --> Settings.
2. Click Interface tab.
3. Enable/tick hardware video decoding.
4. Enable/tick DirectWrite Interface. -> (Press OK button after all done.)
5. Restart Steam Launcher.
Enabling DirectWrite and hardware video decoding eat your RAM and video RAM. So, just do and redo it when you are stream or when you are taking screenshot of your library.
(Steam wallet balance should have options to hide it as privacy reason, let's go tell Gaben about it :D )
