i had to write the steamsupport when this happened to me.. then i had to validate myself to steam with one old steam-game-key or a payment i have done the last couple of years.then you're free to go and can change your phonenumber. Complicated but worked for me
@@mattiasthenotoriousnilsson7375 this didn't really matter to me because im not into trading but i think there was a 15 day gap till i could youse the tradesystem properly. i was just happy to use my new number you know.
@@TroubleChute My pc got bluescreened every time i tried turning it on, then i got it fixed but i had to wipe it completely and get a new ssd so now i removed the authenticator and got it again with a 15 day ban :(

so to backup in case I have to re-install windows or whatever I can just copy the SDA folder to external backup or whatever? Then simply copy it back?

The folder can be put on a USB or anything like that. You can take it with you. Don't remove it unnessecarily :)
