I want to be the first to predict it, your trailer build will set a new standard for cargo conversions. Your attention to detail and focus on clean install is great. Your wife’s design sense is crazy awesome. You two are really doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work.
Daniel Mid thanks man! Absolutely loved it and used it all summer last year. But I bought a grizzly and had no room to put it. So i sold it and have been working on an 8x16 it's been much more involved. I really wanted to do progress videos but failed to do so. I'm determined to do a walk through video this week. You'll have to let me know what you think.
Try 4 inch abs pipe with long turn fittings for mini split exposed lines. Maybe even the 180 degree p trap bottom. Only glue what you have to. Drill small holes to shed water if necessary.
Nice job, and thanks for posting all of this. you do a great job explaining everything. I have the exact trailer ordered and it should be here in the next month or so. I plan to build most of it this fall, but like you found out, I'll probably be working on it until next spring. I ordered mine with the side door mounted behind the wheels so we can have the bed in the front and bath in the back. That will allow me to still use the rear cargo door for hauling things.
Great build out! Love the attention to the details! Great ideas for my cargo trailer conversion build. Two questions: 1) What did the bare Legend all-aluminum trailer cost? 2) What does the trailer weigh with the as-built conversion, no fluids?
I just purchased a 7x14 trailer and your videos is so awesome.. really good explanation on everything that you. I am actually looking at your setup and would like to copy it. My only question is on the AC, how come you have on side of the trailer? why not on top? just curious. can you also provide the link to where you got the cabinets from? Awesome job!!
Awesome design. Plumbing question, where is your water inlet coming from for you kitchen sink? I’m trying to decide how to run my plumbing from water to shower and kitchen sink. I’d have to run lines against to ceiling to reach the sink. Just curious what route you decided. Thanks
hi. i believe one of my update videos shows the layout of the plumbing. sorry not sure which one. but everything is fed from water hose inlet, just splits in different directions to feed everything. its hidden in cabinets and through the bed base. hope that helps!
What paneling did you use on the walls and what did you cover the covered areas with at the point of the trailer as well as where the walls meet the roof?
Hi. I just finished my enclosed cargo trailer conversion to a camper and have been contemplating installing a similar AC mini split. I'm curious if mounting it on the side of the trailer has caused you any issues while traveling down the road?
No problems yet really. I do need to build a cover to protect it from debri and rocks. It sticks out a few inches further than the fender but it's not bad
What are you doing for heat in colder weather im planning to buy a 5x12 offroad trailer with barn doors thats a cargo trailer to pull behind my lj jeep wrangler unlimited i am going to buy a espar diesel heater and run the fuel line to a separate 5 gallon tank they burn about 1/4 gallon a nite if buy espar they run about 1000 i seen people use the Chinese brand but for me im buy American i am truck driver that what we use in winter months on low they run you out small space its well worth the money i have a mr buddy but they burn too much gas the small coleman tank only good for 4 hours , if you do buy a diesel heat don't buy the gas one gas is very flammable where it takes a lot to ignite diesel much safer
@@danielmid6022 Sounds good. Yeah I was thinking about having a local welder shop do the same. Nice to see someone else using the mini split system versus a swamp cooler A/C lol.

Robert Booth thanks for the comment!! ... my we really liked it lol
Nice layout. You two have the vision and skills, but what I enjoy the most is the elegant tastefulness.
It just feels nice to look at.

Mark Stench thank you for watching and taking the time to post a comment, is much appreciated
Daniel Mid no problem, I really enjoy the ideas you are giving.me and the quality of your work is top notch .... please keep them coming.
SWEET BUILD!!!! Great resource for design ideas. Great to see you were able to come up with a propane bottle mount on the Vee nose.
It's looking awesome! I love the attention to detail and the colors that you guys picked. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Brian Rogers thank you!! I've seen your build video, looks really good! How do u like it after some time has passed??

This is awesome man. Great job and appreciate bringing us along.
Those cold and hot pipes are gonna get humid when in use, make sure to use isolation to protect the wood/drywall from water damage.
Ryuuken24 thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna keep an eye on it and insulate where I can!
I love that blue wood walls. Do you have a video on how you did that?
Keep it up man, you're killin' it!
J D thank you!! I appreciate the feedback
Looking awesome man, can't wait to see more
Daniel Lindstrom thank you!!
Wow!!!!! New sub here and I can’t wait to see the finished product. This may inspire me to do one after I get a garage built
I’m definitely stealing some of your ideas. Thanks. Great job
Great Video. Great trailer conversion. I think it is awesome.
Thanks!!
Outstanding video sir! Looking to do the same with a 25' x 8.5' Interstate trailer some time in the near future.
Awesomeness!!!!! Very well done.

Thanks! 10k for bare trailer. I don't know the weight

Very nice. What material is the white bathroom walls?
Awesome camper! Just out of curiosity, how much would something like this cost to build?
I Like it Great look
Thanks!!

Do you have video of holding tanks?
Hey Daniel. Nice work. Any new updates on this project? How much do you think your trailer weighs now?
Coming soon... Just been crazy busy. I'm not sure on weight, I'll get it weighed at the end of the build though

The mini split has heat as well. It gets super toasty inside! Get me updated on your build!
What BTU is your minisplit?
Is it cooling as expected on a hot day?
12000 BTU. U can hang meat in my camper lol
Nice work! Any info on the mount you built for the outside unit of the mini split?
At some point I'll get underneath and get some video of it, but I just went to a Fab shop and had them design it based on what I wanted
@@danielmid6022 Sounds good. Yeah I was thinking about having a local welder shop do the same. Nice to see someone else using the mini split system versus a swamp cooler A/C lol.
have you tried t o run the mini split with a generator
No not yet but I will in the future. I want to find the smallest one I can that will support the entire camper
