Mexico continues to amaze me by how much it can use almost the same ingredients for countless dishes and still make them seem incredibly different from each other.
In Mexico, every State has its own signature dish n everything is bomb. Every State wants to have the best dish in the Country....its the same anywhere.. Its just like having a LA Hot Dog VS a Chicago Dog VS New York Style Hot Dogs... LA Dodger Dogs and Pinks Hot Dogs r the BEST!! LoL
@@heru-deshet359 Totally I'm mexican who has traveled plenty of times to see Friends and relatives in US and everytime I even went to the authentic places, there's something always a lil bit off... the way they make it isn't really like homemade, in Mexico people take cooking very serious as if everyone would like to have their own special twist in every dish they make, being one of the countries who has mastered the use of peppers, spices and chiles, so anytime we do something is in order to like be the best at it with your own récipe, even if it's the same dish over and over people have made so many variations to it and how to prep things up that it's never the same flavour, each state and even each town has their own way to make the same dishes or their own signature dishes aswell. So the only way to taste Mexican food is to eat it in Mexico, the freshness of every ingredient ever used exist all over the country and that's not something you can have in US. even if you had the same recipe instructions to follow up, the person behind has to be mexican and a lot of other things involved in order to experience what mexican food is, bc after all that is what it is for us an (almost spiritual lol) experience to enjoy the food that is in front of us.
Well they kind of are but that’s ok, that’s the magic of our gastronomy, how we are able to transform something as simple as corn, chiles, and tomatoes (those are the base of Mexican food) in so many different things, only with corn we can make tortillas, tostadas, tamales, atole, Pozole, empanadas and so many more amazing things so that’s what makes it amazing, using simple ingredients and transform them in something amazing

Sorry but Mexico has been inhabitable by Americans for awhile. I grew up in San Diego in the 80s. As young as 12. I would walk across the border without parents with a few buddy's and we would take a cab to revaluation and have fun. I was gifted a lease in rosarito for 80 years as I can't own property in Mexico as an American . The property was past the gas plant and Corona factory at the time there was a ozone clinic next door (this was a treatment for cancer, aids and other maladys at some point. It was illigal in the US so people from around the world would go there for treatment). Spent every weekend here for years. It was on the beach and was beautiful. I can still taste the salt on my tounge as you as I would walk in the door. Everything was rusted even if we replaced it because it was so close to the ocean. Would occasionally go to Ensenada it was a lot of fun and good food. Built houses and schools in tijuana for the church. But around 98' 99' maybe 2000 it became impossible to go because of the violence. People were getting kidnapped especially Americans because they held a high ransom. I have not been to my property in over 20 years. Who knows it may be gone.

Gotta be the most beautiful taco I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of tacos. In the end, though, that Mariscos la Estrella is an absolute foodie must-go destination!
I love how the great food just gets better with the compadres 🤠 greetings from Monterrey, México 🇲🇽

Popotla looks Absolutely Enchanting and Amazing .
The Sea Food is prepared to the utmost standards
- the Best -
while the daily catch on the Beach is unbelievable
the Quality of the Fish and Crab surpassed anyone's expectations .
I ate at a Wendy's in Kapolei Hi once, one bite and in the trash. Tried Carl Jr's in la, practically upchucked. Tryed Wingstop in Reseda California and got violently ill, had to call in sick to work. As I watch mark eating raw oyster it occurs to me that much of America is getting a raw deal on food due to lack of imagination, greed, complacency, and outright laziness. I, however, was lucky enough to grow up in Miami and have eaten enough fresh Florida stone crabs to fill a space capsule! Rock on Mark Wiens, love your videos, love the facial fade!😀😀👍👍
So proud you have been here at Baja California eat and enjoy. Sigo compartiendo tus videos en mis redes 🤗🦀🦀🐟
Wow taco with Salsa 🌮 that’s life omg so juicy . Mark you are the king of food 🥘

I love the food in Mexico! Especially Fish Tacos, because of the fresh fish! Keep up the great video's Mark! If you ever go to Puerto Vallarta, try Si Senor ...
Regresamos 🙏🏻

Happy to learn the Mexican foods I didn’t know. All of them look so nice! 😋
Im Proud of my Mexican Culture 💚🤍❤️
I first got introduced to migrationology when I viewed the episode Eating Japanese yakitori on Tokyo's memory lane (piss alley). That was my first favorite video of Mark. Then I got to watch the episode Bedouin Lamb bbq at Wadi Rum. It also became a favorite episode of mine. Then the most insane Lamb pit barbacoa Mexican food in texcoco. Watched them all over and over. And now this new Mexican food tour series, it triggers my food cravings on Overdrive. A new favorite that I will watch over and over. Thank you Marc for all the years of celebration of food and cultural diversity. Travel and food, my favorite combination. Cheers and more blessings for your family.
