I really enjoy Sunny's way of interacting with everyone, just fun. The barracuda is eaten here in Barbados though, but it is nice to see another way to cook it, thanks.
He's respectful of all the different cultures he visits The main difference is. Sonny was influenced by tv show hosts like Bourdain and Zimmern. He travels to enjoy food Other vloggers are there to experience and look at all the "exotic" cultural things they see. Which leads to some bad hosting and offensive remarks Sonny is there to enjoy the culture not just look at it
Yeap we eat them in Indonesia as well but not as often. Becareful of any apex predator fish since we sadly have polluted our ocean too much that apex predator fishes tend to accumulate way too much mercury
In Canada, rays used to be produced as "the poor man's scallop". They were punched out with cookies-cutter like blades. Delicious. Shark is also very tasty when prepared correctly. You have to spray the skin clean because they urinate through their skin so you can get an ammonia taste if not cleaned properly. Also, those were fish eggs. "Britchens" in Newfoundland, they are SO good. A common, traditional food here. I love the Mexican take on these foods. So many fresh herbs and spices that just aren't available in the outports here.
I wish I could hit Like prob 50 times. This looks so good, I love Mexico and the food. Such a great show. Love you Sonny and your team. XOXOXOX ahhhhhh PEA's!
Mexico's seafood game is so underrated. I have some Ecaudorian friends that have told me "if i go to mexico it wont be cause of the seafood" . They have no idea. Here in LA, Mexican seafood is delicious, I cant even imagine in Mazatlan .
I just wanted to pause halfway through this video and say that this episode is F%#*king awesome! Sonny, you’re funny as hell bro! I’m loving your collab with that girl and her accent is beautiful, and that chef and his food is amazing!
The thumbnail is very catchy that stirs my curiosity and the video itself never let me down!😆💓Although the size of each seafood is huge, they carefully cook and it looks yummy! I’d love to visit the market too💕
Sonny normally I do not comment on videos. You have provided me with hours of entertainment and I greatly appreciate it. Keep doing what you do because you are by far the best at the game!
Loved this video! A little tidbit- that ray you saw at 5:00 looks more like a white-spotted eagle ray rather than a manta ray. Oceanic mantas get to well over twice the size of those rays!
when i was a kid my family had lots of affiliation with kenya. I remember catching a barracuda and giving it to a local as my dad said theres better fish to eat. I now wish i could grab that cuda and do it like they did over there. looks bloody gorgeous. cheers mate good video.
I really hope you keep traveling through Mexico! My family is from Jalisco and Guadalajara and the food is WAY different than what you've shown! Also keep going south to our tribal brothers and sisters!
Love your videos man! I watch every time you upload new ones! I use to travel the world with my job but now disabled so I can see places from your videos!
The ancient cooking method of cooking food by adding a heated rock to a dish of food and water predates the invention of metal and stone cookware. They'd cook food in woven baskets or bowls made out of a gourd that way, because those baskets and bowls couldn't be heated over a fire. Here in Northern California, they used Jade, which boils water faster than any other rock. You can find jade stones with cracks in them and dark spots inside them on the beach, occasionally. They're actually ancient cooking tools, used over and over to boil water to cook seafood on those beaches by the Native Americans, very likely for years. You can use this method to boil water in a paper cup while camping if you don't have cookware, too.
God damn the production quality of this show is way better than mainstream stuff! You upload quite often as well :D

Hope you have a chance to discover these magical towns that surround us.
It Is great to see you visiting our country, and you have only visited CDMX, there are tons of things to eat, It Is such a large country, you may spend at least 2 weeks, and always eat something different. Provecho.
That ray omg I want to try it! I would have thought once the bowl is starting to bubble over that they would take the stones out hmm. So so cool though
Happy Sunday! The way the wrestler chef cooked the manta ray was amazing. It looked REALLY GOOD.! If I was presented with it I would have thought it was pulled chicken. The hot rock soup looked tasty as hell. Let me say I love the way the lady says juicy. "Yoo-see"

Good choice!
Mexican isn’t really a food type. Mexican cuisine can be as diverse as Italian from French from English. 😬😬😬😬😬
