It's why I have a hard time eating an octopus. They supposedly have a much higher capacity for creativity than humans do: it's not like we can change the way we look when faced with danger.
I love how this program makes me want to travel to countries that I’d otherwise never think to visit. Like I really want to see Vietnam now. The country, people and cuisine look incredible. Until then, time to get a big bowl of Pho 🍲!

as he mentioned the arms having neurons, essentially that means that arms can control themselves, instead of one brain, the arms in a sense have a mind of their own. if an octopus loses a leg it can grow back, but the leg will live on swimming and grabbing things, and attempting to put food in its beak without a mouth to feed for I believe a week.

Great show. Thank you! I love eating Octopus. I learned a recipe where you conceal it in a double layer Zip-lock (enforced with duct-tape, and tenderize it in the the dryer for 45 mins on low heat, boil for an hour, then marinate and grill. Delicious! Heaven forbid those bags break....
